Connie's Pizza in Bridgeport Ratings and Reviews
Connie's has been a Chicago staple for many years. Great pizza with 3 styles to choose from. Thin, regular, and thick crust. Great sandwiches, and an assortment of appetizers and salads.
I had 16 people in my party and not one complaint. That kind of says it all.
Daisy was our server, she kept our glasses full and made sure everyone had what ever they needed. I have had many group parties here and have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

Order took about an hour for a thin crust and when it arrived to the table it was wrong pizza. So we had to what another long while for another one. Food Runner left to box up new pizza an never came back had to get Mgr. To get pizza. On top of that asked for light cheese got no cheese.
The food is so very good. Service was good except 4 of us ordered individual pizzas. My one friend was finished eating hers before our 3 were served. Not a big deal, but rather odd. One of 2 of the ice teas ordered was served quite a bit before the other.
That's why I rated service mediocre. We haven't experienced that before . . .
The food was great. But our server was not as attentive as I have experienced when I have previously dined at Connie's. Part of going to a restaurant is not only being able to enjoy good food but to also have a server who can help make the experience better.
My family and I have never had a worse dining experience than we did at your Archer location last night. Our reservation was for 11 people at 5pm for a birthday
I don’t know were to begin. Our server was Shari, and although she might be a nice person, she is a horrible sever. My husband and I were the first to arrive. Shari gave us menus, we asked for water and a glass of wine. It must have taken 10 minutes to bring the water and wine. The restaurant was not that full, so we couldn't figure out what was taking so long. I don't even know where to go from here. The family arrived, Shari took forever to come to the table and take drink orders, and what seemed like forever to bring all the drinks. We had to wave her down numerous times for drinks, to take our food order. Nothing went well at all. The pizza arrived cold, we were missing pizza’s, one of the pizza sat on the tray table and was not served. No one was eating at the same time. At two different times family member got up to complain. The manager came over, and was not much help either. She took one of the pizza’s that was served cold back to the kitchen to warm it up, and we were still missing a pizza. At that point, who cares, the evening had been a disaster. She brought out complimentary deserts, but we had brought our own cake. It took 2 1/2 hours to be served pizza’s and drinks.
This was the most horrendous dinning experience I have ever encountered in my life.
Connies is our go to spot. The reservation reduced our wait time and we were seated a couple minutes from our arrival. We didnt know about the Monday special so it was a win win for our group. Thanks to all the friendly staff, service was great, food was great, and we always feel welcomed. We will be back..
Having been coming to Connie's for 25 years, I have a certain level of expectations regarding my experience. Though I live out of state, I make a visit to Connie's in Archer a part of my trip.
However, my most recent experience left me with some doubt. We had reservations and were taken only 5 minutes or so after our scheduled time- not a big deal at all, especially for a Friday night. But the food took close to an hour and when we finally received our pizza, it was wrong. A simple order of a large, deep dish, half pepperoni (which the waitress repeated back to me) was wrong. Though they did offer to make us another (with an additional 60 minute wait), nothing else was done to address the mistake. No apology. No contact from a manager. Nothing.
I hope this is a fluke and not the beginning of a change.
It had been many years since I went to Connie's. The night began with the server saying they didn't have several beers on the menu. No longer carry them but never bothered to update the menu. I asked for a vodka with cranberry juice only to have the server return with no drink and saying they didn't have cranberry juice. I then ordered margarita. The waitress had to find out what tequila they carried. Needless to say the margarita was awful. If you want just pizza it's safe to go here. The pizza was fine. If you enjoy a cocktail with your dinner, don't go to Connie's. Terrible bar service.
