Our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles!
So glad that they made it through the pandemic and are back serving the best food ever. Great service always.
Just a wonderful restaurant!
Thanks for a lovely evening
Distance from kitchen a problem. Clam chowder arrived lukewarm.
I love this place so much!!! Fantastic food. Feels like being back on the east coast. HIGHLY recommend.
The host was fabulous - so kind and accommodating. And our waitress was an absolute doll. We had a lovely time! And the food is always amazing.
Food was actually not edible... really really bad. The shrimp that was part of the shrimp cocktail was old tasting and not fresh and actually looked dirty. I ordered a cup of the chowder and it was so watery that it was neither appetizing nor edible. My main course of mussels in white wine broth tasted as if something like cleaning solution had been accidentally dropped into the broth.
Overall, the food was so bad that I didn’t eat it but didn’t send it back either. I wouldn’t have known what to say was wrong with it and but also feared for my health if I finished it. (And was terrified that they would bring me something else and I wouldn’t be able to eat it either.) That is how bad my food was
Has improved since our last visit. Our waiter was excellent. She’s amazing. Super nice.
The meal was the exact seafood extravaganza we were looking for. The service is always laid back and fun there as well. The only negative about Connie and Ted's is the price point is on the high side. That being said, the food is top quality and absurdly good.
Very happy with our outdoor dining experience!
What a pleasure to dine al fresco and feast upon seafood from the east! East coast that is, where my own and Michael Cimmurusti's roots are. Thank you thank you for the raw hard shell clams and soft steamers from Massachusetts. The maitre d' was so generous in finding a great seat for our party and our server was charming, attentive but also let us have our space. Okay, they put more lobstah in the lobstah rolls back east but that's a minor point given that they tasted great and we were fast filling up. Oh and did I mention onion rings to die for? I just did.
This is our first return since the pandemic. Service was excellent, food delish, beautiful day relaxing in “our” NorthEastern seaboard restaurant!
Táim!
See you soon!
Best restaurant in LA! Be sure to save room for the Blondie dessert!
Great place. Fun atmosphere and good food.
Food was great but way too pricey for everyday dining. Tent outside would be nicer with more plants.
The service was very good. Food varied. The fish and chips? The fish was excellent the chips undercooked. Oily fried clams in sorry batter with undercooked fries were underwhelming.
Always a wonderful time out at C&T's. I am at high risk for Covid and don't qualify for the vaccine. This is literally the only restaurant I have been to in over a year b/c they're the only place that I trust them with my health and safety completely . Food and service was just perfection as always!
Excellent service and attention to detail. They really knew their stuff
Overpriced
Given the circumstances, this was a very enjoyable meal for our celebration!
Top quality food in an environment that felt VERY COVID-safe. It was the first restaurant night out for our family in over a year and the Connie & Ted's team made it memorable in the best possible way.
Best place to get great NE chowder and terrific Ipswich steamers!
We love Connie & Ted's! The only thing that it is lacking is the Valet parking service that has gone away since Covid.
Outdoor dining was fine.
It was amazing!
Very friendly staff! The food was unique and delicious. The cocktails were spot on. Overall a great time. 👍
Great Quality fresh sea food . I wish they bring the tuna sandwich back to the menu.
Absolutely the best steamed and fried clams in Los Angeles. Little gem salad also fresh crisp and delicious. Great and friendly service. Love this place!
Always one of our favorites, this was the first restaurant we've been in since 3/13/20.
Food outstanding as always. Tables well spaced, and they've also turned the parking lot into a socially-distanced dining room. Everyone was happy to be there, from us to the staff. Can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant! The food is amazing and it was great to eat on the patio( not in a parking lot)
Nothing special. Definitely not going there again.
Too pricey for everyday dining
Connie and Ted's scores every time. Impeccable service, great food and a reasonable price.
The worst service ever. Three of us had finished eating prior to the fourth getting their food. We were there over 2 1/2 hours for lunch, most of it waiting for our server. It was an awful experience. Have eaten here many tines before and it was so much better. Huge disappointment.
Seated quickly upon arrival. Fish and chips were outstanding. Service was good. Definitely worth putting in my rotation
Birthday. Walked around the corner from home.
Colleen is the best server, she loves her job and has a "smile" even with a mask you can see it.
The food is delicious as usual. Happy that you are getting through this miserable pandemic and taking all precautions to protect your employees and patrons. It is such a staple in the neighborhood, it was great to sit down and eat with my neighbors.
It was windy and cold. The heaters not that warm. Asked to be seated indoors where it looked like a hurricane came through. Sat back out on the patio. Paper on the tables - just didn't feel like west LA. ANYWAY- ordered the chowda- watery, no flavor and just not good. Ordered the dozen oysters - was told I'd get a really "big" one, per chefs selection, didn't. Asked for it and was charged. The highest thing- asked for a warm whiskey drink. Brought back approx 2 ounces of a cocktail in a huge glass - I couldn't believe it- for $15.00. The lobster roll was just ok, my husbands fish and chips was light and crunchy but... zero flavor. Onion rings were superb but other than that I was uncomfortable, cold, disappointed and just overall irritated by the seating the food the soup... everything. I wanted to love the place. But just didn't.
Excellent venue, private setting, service was excellent and the food was great! Perfect for a birthday celebration.
Had a wonderful experience! Our server was great along with the rest of the staff. Especially Jose M the busser.
Consistant, top quality seafood. We've been regulars since they opened, never disappointed.
The food and service were fantastic, as always, despite the pandemic. This was our first dining out experience since we were allowed to go back into restaurants at 25% occupancy, and we were very happy to be there. Ambience is beside the point when you're eating in a tent on the parking lot but we were lucky and got a booth to ourselves so even the ambience was good.
