Connie and Ted's
Enjoy one (or two) California craft beers on tap, while sampling from our variety of oysters, clams and shellfish, shucked to order, at our Raw Bar. Wind down the day with a classic cocktail at the bar, or enjoy a warm lobster roll outside on the covered, open-air patio overlooking Santa Monica Boulevard.

Everything we ordered was great. Check was quite a expensive, but worth it. Come here for the food.
Amazing experience from start to finish. Knowledgeable staff, (wine, menu, etc) with personable approach
The service was beyond poor. The waiter was chatting up a storm with others while he neglecting to take our dinner order.
By the time I flagged him down they were out of my menu choice.
He never asked if we wanted another glass of wine or another beverage. He also had a bit of an attitude.
I’m a long time customer and this was a experience.
Perfect outdoor seating for the pandemic. Only problems were the sirens on the street! Great experience.
Table 104 is perfect for a couple on a romantic evening out. Our server Jim was fantastic helping us navigate the menu and pacing our multi-course meal.
Impeccable meal served in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
My friend and I absolutely love this place. Delicious oysters -
Visited for my birthday with my family. We have been here several times in the past. This time our service felt rushed, and other than the oysters and clam chowder, the food was just okay.
Reservation said high top table and it was just a low table in the parking lot.
Fabulous, we always enjoy our evening!
The food was delicious. The outdoor seating area was well done. The shrimp are awesome. Our waiter was delightful. Yay for the mac n cheese.
Amazing food. Amazing staff.
Great fresh seafood. Real steamers (fabulous). Excellent oysters (but, in chefs choice) not individually identified. Fair corkage ($30).
Service was hit and miss (not really aware of timing)
A real Rhode Island fish house in LA no less!
I miss Point Judith and Matunick where I grew up and this is the West Coeat equivalents to an old New England seafood establishment.. Don’t miss it!
Nick was our very good server. They seated us in a fabulous location (we wanted a quiet table). The dishes ranged from good to excellent. Only issue is not their fault: parking can be an issue as they took over their parking lot for outdoor (covered) table service and there is no valet. Allow time to find parking in the area.
Connie and Ted's is always a winner - fabulous lobster roll and fries, salads, fish and chips, even their burger is great - and their craft beers! Brought new people there last night, and they loved it too!
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
My biggest issue is our waitress disappeared and I had to go to the manager to get service. I saw other waitresses and waiters actively checking on their tables, seems it was just ours. Will not stop me from going back.
The swordfish was fresh and moist. My husband had the burger and said it was very good
I had the steamers again, I can't seem to order anything else plus the butter rolls, all terrific. The service was as good as ever.
Beat lobster in town. Spacious outdoor space. Great seafood feast.
Best fish in town. Great coleslaw and calamari. The delicato squash was a bit chewy
Excellent. I didn’t find the prices bad at all. Service and good was great
Always a treat to eat here at one of our favorite restaurants, which we patronize at least twice a month. I especially love the hot lobster roll, the dinner rolls and the New York pickles. In chilly months, try the three-chowder sampler. (Yes, three!)
We had a great dinner at Connie and Ted’s. The seafood was incredible and the staff very accommodating. The manager Matt went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal with some new menu item suggestions paired with wines. Lovely evening!
It was very average. Event tho we had reservations we waited about 10 minutes to be seated after the reservation time. Once seated we waited an additional 10/15 minutes to even be greeted.
The server was lovely, but clearly over worked.
Once food and drink arrived, the drinks were excellent, but the food was very “meh”. We, 4 of us, all had different items and all of us reported the meals we had to be just okay.
All and all just a very average experience. Likely won’t be back.
Best lobster roll in town. Service was excellent. My favorite place to celebrate my birthday.
We love seafood and this place was the perfect seafood place, the New England chowder was out of this world! We loved the lobster and the black cod, tried the smoke fish dip! Everything was healthy and fresh!!
Connie and Ted’s is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always excellent, as is the perfect service. Everyone we introduce to Connie and Ted’s LOVES it! I can never resist ordering their incredible lobster roll with drawn butter, which comes with the best-EVER fries! Can’t wait to go back!
The food made me sick.
MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER VERY GOOD. IPSWICH CLAMS TERRIFIC. OYSTERS GOOD, CRAB CAKE FAIR. WAITER FORGOT THE FRIES - NEVER CAME.
Food was great but Colleen was an amazing server and absolutely made our night. Fun, light hearted and handled a really busy section like a total pro.
Dinner got to a slow start…. I’ll cut them some slack, it was busy.
Cocktails were a perfect start, I recommend the Lillet cocktail. Oysters were on point and the fish, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Black Cod. Leave room for dessert and be sure to get a whoopie pie! You can thank me later…
One bad thing, all the noise on Santa Monica Blvd.
Dinner with parents
Well, this was our first time here, but it certainly won't be the last. They very pointedly set up a bunch of outside seating, some under a tent, some under a roof with fresh air flowing. Tables appropriately spaced. Employees masked, friendly, helpful, patient, and the food (and drink) was excellent.
We will return.
Server gave great advice on both food and wine and was generally awesome!
Everything was great!
service was unacceptably slow. we ordered a gin martini. it took twenty minutes to arrive......
Fantastic experience dining at Connie and Ted’s. Great food, friendly staff, and all around good vibes. Will definitely be back!
