Everything was delicious! Save room for dessert. Parties were still spaced apart nicely and indoor dining was breezy with open doors & windows.
Consistently delicious seafood, fun ambience and great service!
The best seafood in town. Great ambiance. Lovely service. I look forward to the return of valet parking.
We told the host that we had three birthdays to celebrate ( we were 4 people) and asked if he could seat us on the terrace instead of the quite ugly tented parking lot. He said it is not possible as it is first come first serve. I had put on my reservation „special event” and the reservation was at 6:45( early!)
We were seated in the parking tent and mentioned again that we are celebrating three birthdays. We did not get any candles or any other acknowledgment on the deserts we had ordered.
Best raw oysters I have had in a while and I have to admit my burger was perfect! Also discovered an amazing beer I want a 6 pack of ASAP Bourbon Barrel Aged beer FIVE STARS
One of the best
Food was great. Service was very slow. I think server had too big of a section.
Was a wee disappointed in my clam roll. Was delivered barely warm so the clams didn't taste up to par and the joint was so busy, it wasn't worth it to me to get the attention of the server to send back. The raw oysters were great though!
We LOVE Connie and Ted's - and especially their yummy lobster roll, excellent fries, and New England clam chowder. Also, their front-of-house and wait staff is outstanding. Always a relaxing, pleasurable experience.
Crab cakes were cold and oily, as though they had been heated up from the day before. Rhode Island clam chowder was excellent. French fries crispy and luscious. The waiter was a delight.
Great service and the freshest seafood. Everything was delicious.
I do not know of another restaurant that has a higher quality of fish. Oyster, clams, uni all perfect and delicious. Also where else can you get east coast clams either raw or fried bellies or strips.
Everytime we come to LA is our first stop.
Wife and I went on a Wednesday. Were seated right away with reservation. Started with chowder sampler, half a dozen oysters and some drinks. All were excellent. Then we had a crab cake. You only get one and it’s a little pricey. Would pass on that next time. We were debating between the clams and mussels or the bouillabaisse. Server highly recommended the bouillabaisse (which they only serve on Wednesday currently) and it couldn’t have been a better idea. It was FANTASTIC! They needs to make this a regular option. Absolutely delicious! While it’s pricey, the food is fantastic. Makes for a great date night!
We love our waiter, brian, he is just the best
Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. One of our very favorites.
Met a friend for a late lunch & catch up, and it was delicious, as always. They close in the late afternoon, but did not rush us out, which we really appreciated. Great neighborhood spot!
Connie and Ted’s is one of our favorite restaurants. Everyone at C&T’s are very nice. From The Host, server, and to the Chef. They are amazing! The food is done well. I never had a bad dish.
Quality and consistency at C+T's is always excellent. But going from $29. to $36. for their signature lobster roll is not a fair price jump. There is no escalation in lobster prices to warrant it. If your going to raise prices do it fairly. As for the quality of the food it is one of the best seafood restaurants in LA bar none. People who can afford the $36. were turned off by the large price hike and had something else. It's the principal here. Go to $32. and make it market competitive.
Just like being in New England
Fun Birthday Dinner!
This place has been a foolproof go-to for more than 5 years, just as great post-pandemic as pre.
Seafood and service were excellent! I gave 5 stars for ambiance- the parking lot is not ideal, but they are putting a lot into maintaining Covid guidelines- a very nice, tented area. We were fortunate to be on patio. Had chefs choice of oysters. We are east coast seafood people- it is very difficult to find good fried clams in LA- this is the place!
Shared fried clams & steamers. Perfect start to summer!Wonderful selection of chowders and fresh fish - prepared to one’s liking!
Well. We hate to give negative reviews… But this was average at best. Not even great seafood… And sort of expensive. We live in the Boston area so we are used to good seafood. The drinks were very fruity… But not a lot of alcohol.pear Martini tasted more like a juice drink. Crab cake was ok. I got the swordfish... it was ok. There were so many positive reviews... just mot what was expected. Kev
Birthday dinner with my wife. Excellent food. Perfect service!
Food and drinks were wonderful as was our waitress.
The only negative was the parking situation. Because tables are set up in the parking lot it was aggravating for myself and other members of our party to have to try and find street parking on a busy evening in that area.
My dads 80th birthday was a huge success ! We had a wonderful server, a great table, and terrific food!
We enjoy Connie & Ted’s regularly. It’s a reasonably priced seafood restaurant. We particularly enjoy the gem salad, fish & chips, steamers and daily specials. On our last visit, we were seated promptly. Service was reasonably good though a bit slower than usual, perhaps bc the tables are spaced quite far apart and and the servers ha e to cover a lot more ground.
Most expensive lobster roll known to man.Good but way overpriced.
$6 for bread/rolls as a "side" is ridiculous.
One of our favorite local spots. Pet friendly, classic, delicious food, beautiful patio created from former parking lot, outstanding service.
Staff was amazing, food was delicious and outdoor set up was super fun!
Great food and great service!
We are happy Connie and Ted's is open again as it is a wonderfully casual place with New England clam shack food. We think the lobster rolls rival the ones we have had in Cape Cod, they may be better and the fries are great.
I could go on and on about the food including appetizers and their special drinks.
It is a winner. It would be a winner in cape cod.
Awesome food, cocktails and service. Had such a hard time picking what to eat--so you know we're definitely coming to try the other goodies on the menu.
Oysters were perfect, sea urchin amazing. Service was slow but the wait staff was attentive and kept us informed about the pace in the kitchen.
Always excellent! First time there since pandemic and ate outside. Their lobster roll and fries are extraordinary!
Great place however restaurant prices in LA are thru the roof and this place reflects that!
Best fish I. lA
Had a great experience the server was so helpful and attentive the lobster roll and the French fries were delicious. Will definitely go back.
Best lobster roll on the west coast. Try the three chowdah appetizer!
