Excellent service and delicious food. The oysters were really tasty and fresh and the New England clam chowder was perfect for a chilly night. Really crispy fried chicken.

Food was incredibly salty, almost to the pint of being inedible. And I like salt. The chowder is, of course salty, ok. But the crab cake was actually inedible and the fried chicken close. Very disappointing.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! As a Massachusetts native, I know what great seafood is...and let me tell you...Connie and Ted's has some of the best seafood I've ever had! Extremely fresh and flavorful dishes (I've tried quite a few) and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're in the Los Angeles area and are craving seafood, I highly recommend making a reservation!

Connie and Ted's is always stellar - the wait staff, the ambience, and definitely the outstanding food. I can never NOT order the lobster roll and fries, but others in our party tried new items, and they were all thrilled with theirs as well! All incredible!

Always dependable. It was crowded...and loud...but a fun atmosphere. Staff does a great job of keeping up with service....especially given the number of people. Nice to see valet parking back....especially since that neighborhood is always a parking challenge. I'm always reminded what a good place this is....every time I go back.

Dine LA was misleading. In the small print there was an extra $10 charge for a lobster roll. The lobster roll was the main attraction. The bill was just too high and I was disappointed... I would have been happy splitting a salad and buying the lobster roll off the regular menu and it would have been less expensive. I didn't need the dessert but it seemed like it was a perk for Dine LA. Tell your diners if there's an extra charge or put it in all caps.

Appetizers were very good; fish dishes could contain more actual fish but okay; drinks selection is large but cocktails seemed a bit too watery, mostly ice; good deserts, crème brûlée could use less sugar and a bit too burnt on top. Overall good food, but not great. Oysters and pairings are overpriced and not enough atmosphere too make up for it.

Given the price a shockingly small portion of grilled fish. Also too many different sheets of paper so that to order you had to look at multiple separate sheets of paper and they only gave us one of each for three people.
