At Connie and Ted’s you’ll find simply prepared fish and shellfish, inspired by the classic clam shacks, oyster bars, and fish houses, that dot the New England Seaboard and the Western Coast.

Enjoy one (or two) of 24 California craft beers on tap, while sampling from our large variety of oysters, clams and shellfish, shucked to order, at our Raw Bar. Wind down the day with a classic cocktail at the bar, or enjoy a warm lobster roll outside on the covered, open-air patio overlooking Santa Monica Boulevard.

C&T's staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming despite operating in the worst of circumstances. Please consider supporting them and, where you can, all your favorite restaurants that are able to operate.
Connie and Ted's is fantastic and I hope we can be back there on day one of them re-opening.
Good luck and stay well, everyone.

Good menu of a variety of seafood. Everything we had was good. Wish we’d ordered more fresh and less fried. Oysters seem pricey in our experience.

Great place to enjoy sea food but for someone like me that only eats shrimp the burger is one of the best I’ve had in Los Angeles! So even if you don’t eat sea food give this place a try!!!

The food was great and the location was good too. I’d give this place 5* all across the board except that the service experience left me a little cold. When we got there, there was no host/hostess. We waited for several minutes and there were empty tables but no one came. The wait staff kept telling us someone was coming. Someone finally did come and seated us.

Our server was nice. She got us everything we needed. She was attentive. But I felt like it was a churn and burn type of setup. It felt like they just wanted us to order as fast as we could, eat fast, then leave. IDK how to describe it. It was a weird feeling.

That said, I’d eat here again. Maybe it was an off night. The food was delicious!

Absolutely delicious food (can't resist the lobster roll and amazing fries!) - and superlative service. It was my mom's 98th birthday and they brought her a lovely dessert with candle in it!

We arrived early for our reservation and were asked to wait 10 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty. Then, we were seated in the very back corner which reminded us of a recent episode of Larry David where only “beautiful” people sat on the good side. We are both over 65 and figured they didn’t want us to ruin their hipness factor. The food was at best mediocre and the whole experience rates a zero

It's a great place to get New England seafood that is hard to find here.

This establishment is a class act. There was a mistake with my order and it was immediately handled. My server also comp me a drink for the mix up. I really appreciate the way that the staff made us feel welcomed it means a lot ... the food came to the table fresh well plated and hot ... the drinks were nothing short of superb. I will definitely visit this spot again.

I have reviewed this restaurant numerous times, including a week ago. No changes except that it was disappointing that it ran out of steamers and swordfish.

Eh. While I loved the ambiance and vibe of this place, customer service was average and the food was below average. I went here just with a girlfriend We started with oysters, which I can't say much about because I don't like oysters. The New England clam chowder was incredibly watery - not creamy in any way shape or form though it did feel healthier. Lobster roll was worth it because we split it. A whole roll to myself would've made me sick given the insane amount of butter. We got Mac n cheese as a side which was whatever and kind of dry. We also ordered fish n chips with French fries for the sake of trying multiple things on the menu. Overall it was way TOO much food for us. The fish n chips was like okay but nothing special. And the French fries were a little too salty, which is something I've noticed in other reviews. Decent meal but I don't have anything to return for

As someone who grew up on northeastern seafood, I appreciate this place.
The fried belly clams were sweet and juicy; the Spanish mackerel was tasty and not dry (said a guest), the cioppino was full of shellfish and hot (the taste was not exactly what I like, but that's on me, not the restaurant), and the steamers were fantastic--meaty, sweet, properly cooked. Not many places to get real steamers in Los Angeles but these show how much better they are than little necks for steaming.
Interesting beer selection, unless you want something mundane, like Samuel Adams.
