Enjoy one (or two) of 24 California craft beers on tap, while sampling from our large variety of oysters, clams and shellfish, shucked to order, at our Raw Bar. Wind down the day with a classic cocktail at the bar, or enjoy a warm lobster roll outside on the covered, open-air patio overlooking Santa Monica Boulevard.
The best seafood restaurant in LA! Delicious meal, fantastic service and relaxed, casual energetic atmosphere makes for a win every time. Colleen and her team know what good food and hospitality are all about. Make Connie and Ted's a regular go to favorite of yours if not already!
Food and service were great. Highly recommended. The highlights were the Rhode Island clam chowder and the grilled lobster.
I'd heard a lot of great things about this restaurant but had never been because it's across town for me. I happened to be near today so decided to drop in. Reservations were a cinch on my opentable app and I parked in a meter right in front. Sunday 3:45...no crowd...fast seating and fast service, fresh food! Happy to revisit again during normal dining hours!
Always a good time with great food.
Best New England seafood joint I know in L.A. -- truly delightful and uniformly satisfying.
We love Connie and Ted's. This time we took our 7 and 5 year old grandchildren and they were treated with respect and kindness. They know good food and ate everything from the crabcakes to fish and chips. Thanks, C and T. See 'ya next time.
Ethan was dope. Food was perfect, as always.
menu a little pricey but food was good, would come again
Food, amazing, bartenders we're knowledgeable and friendly. However I made a 7:15 reservation and after being told by the hostess it was short wait, we waited 20 minutes and then finally said, screw it and just sat at the bar when seats opened up and stayed there, it wasn't until 40 minutes after my reservation that the host came back to tell me the table was ready. I've been here many times and that was the only time that's ever happened. I will be back but anyone, anywhere shouldn't have to wait 40 minutes WITH a reservation. Also should mention that a party of 4 that walked in got sat before us also. What a shame, oh well. Poor hosting is not an accurate account of the overall experience. Everything besides that was incredible.
I usually love this place, but the food was pretty mediocre. Not sure what happened...
Fabulous service, good vibes and traditional, East Coast seafood! The oysters were fresh and delish and our server helped us pick the perfect ones for our taste. I love that you can get the lobster roll New England or Connecticut style and the clam chowder is homemade and amazing. We were happy to find this gem!
Wonderful
Waiter and wonderful service.
Food amd customer service is top notch. Seafood is fresh and tasty. Love the oysters, lobster roll and chowder.
We love Connie & Ted’s! The food and cocktails are always delicious. We asked for a quiet table and were seated in the far corner in the patio. It can be loud in the main dining room. The wait staff and everyone are always cordial and courteous. I am vegetarian and always find something to eat there, and my meat/fish eating friends love the fresh sea food and fish on the menu.
Great fish. Better clams.
Fabulous food and great service!! One of our favorite spots
To dine with friends and family.
Service and food outstanding
Delicious lobster roll! The lobster tasted so sweet and fresh and the bun was delicious too.
Never disappoints...love their Clam Chowder sampler and Hot Lobster Roll is a must.
We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary. We had gone to C&T’s for our wedding reception dinner, so we decided to go back. We started with the Chef’s choice oysters (all delicious) and the chowder sampler. Dinner was rockfish and fisherman’s stew. Oh, and a side of the best mac & cheese I’ve had! Overall, it was a great evening.
Food was excellent, I would have given 5 Stars if only they offered a dessert for my wife birthday. After we paid the waiter wished my wife happy birthday.
Disappointed. After seeing in several LA guide books, we made the mistake of leaving the lovely Chateau Marmont for dinner reservations at Connie & Teds. The staff was friendly but the food was awful. Everything was served cold, slightly mushy and with zero seasoning .We attempted to try several things on the menu in hopes something would be edible, but alas, no dice. I never leave reviews but feel inclined because I was so bummed about the experience.
C &T’s never disappoints. Yummy food, great and friendly service. We’ll be back!
Went there for the seafood and wanted to have the New England dinner, but they wouldn't make it without the pork, which I don't eat. Settled for the chioppino which didn't have much in it and the calamari was not edible. My friend had the crab salad which she said was bad= too much mayo and didn't taste fresh. Another friend had the crab cake which she enjoyed.
I have been here before and had a great meal. This time I ordered the tuna melt which was too oniony, and super soggy. My friend had the fish and chips , which was dry and tasteless. I was so disappointed. The fries were the best thing we had. I won’t be coming back any time soon.
Great dinner thank you!
Fantastic from top to bottom! Great food, great service, great ambiance, great everything.
Great seafood as usual. Service ok but not fantastic
Service and food were excellent; contemporary ambiance was lovely; seating was comfortable. This was a first visit for my lunch partner and myself; and we were both very pleased with our overall lunch experience. The room had fewer customers than on most other Wednesdays, according to our server, so we appreciated the relatively quiet noise level. Our server was very attentive yet did not rush us.
Would have liked to have a few more choices on the lunch menu--perhaps some additional salads, soups and/or pastas. My friend was thrilled with her fettuccine with clams and oysters, said she especially liked the seasoning. Her plate came with a slice (or two?) of bread. I chose the crab salad, which was a mixture of chopped crab, avocado, hard-boiled eggs and chopped cucumber, all in a mound on top of some butter lettuce leaves. Frankly, I could not really detect much crab or the taste of crab. As this was serving as my entree, I felt I could have had a roll or bread to go along with the salad.
The dessert menu, on the other hand, had plenty of selections and was fairly priced. My friend enjoyed her peach crisp with vanilla ice cream, while I enjoyed the chocolate devil's cake. Both were generously portioned.
My parking valet was friendly, courteous and efficient.
Pricing overall is high but in line with west side, upscale restaurants.
We arrived 8pm for my son’s 23rd birthday, greeted at our table, by the GM the wonderful Matthew De Marte. I can’t say enough about his friendliness, personality and helpfulness that evening. The cuisine was outstanding as usual(we live in Hollywood so we frequent), the Boiled Dinner was so tasting and the clam strips! My son was even givin a gorgeous fresh baked loaf of bread for his boiled dinner! The smoked fish dip is second to none...so delish. My Birthday is next month can’t wait to come back. Love Connie & Ted’s!!! Go there you won’t be disappointed...Thanks Matthew for a fabulous evening!!!!
Great menu and large portion size for the WeHo Eat +Drink week. Service was also outstanding.
The New England clam chowder is so authentic! I also had a stuffed quahog, fried clams and a blondie for dessert. All excellent
C + T's is one of our favorite local restaurants. Service has often been hit or miss but it's never really mattered because the food is fantastic and it's up the street. That being said, we had incredible service this time. Our waiter was Whit and I've noticed the past few times we've been that the service has been stellar. Seems to be new wait staff and a new manager. Kudos C+T for upping the ante once again. In a neighborhood with so many options, we will keep coming back.
I am addicted to their lobster roll and fries! Can't get enough - and recommend to all!
Food was perfect and great service impeccable the only thing it’s a little too loud to have dinner conversation
Great seafood place, and I have a shellfish allergy and the keep me safe when I go there ! My family crushes it on the shellfish and I love all the fresh fish they fly in or get local Great job
We enjoyed getting the West Hollywood prix fixe meal. The portions were big and tasted great, even if our warm lobster rolls were delivered not warm at all. Sadly, our service wasn't very good. Our server was slow at taking our order and never checked back with us after our food was delivered. We had to ask other staff for things we needed. We had to catch her attention to order another round of drinks. Not a huge deal, but still, worth mentioning!
Food week in West Hollywood, was recommended by a colleague/ friend… I was happy to see that Connie and Ted’s were on the list of eateries...excited to partake of the experience… the set menu for $45 was not a good value… I wouldn’t recommend it as my friend did because of the value to price incongruity...
Waited longer than 30 minutes for our table. Food was excessively salty.
Host/manager Wong cordially attended us all evening, taking oysters and recommending some amazing varieties. Absolutely the BEST oysters in Los Angeles.
