fabulous! We always go here because its the best so OPEN!
In one word... horrible!
Very fresh seafood, and they definitely adhere to the social distance dining rules for outdoor dining, with heat lamps to offset the late fall/early winter chill at night. The stuffies needed some acidity to counter the saltiness and richness, but otherwise were tasty, and very filling. Black cod was melt in your mouth delicious! Lobster roll could use more lobster, but still a solid choice (if a bit pricey). And chowder trio was nice on a cold night.
Great outdoor seating with excellent service and fresh food.
80th Birthday dinner. Fantastic service and food
Excellent food excellent server Just excellent
From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was done with perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive, service was excellent, the food was exceptional and we felt very safe, all the tables were set at a more than safe distance, all the staff was wearing PPE’s.
My go to restaurant when we are in town. Thank you.
Took a while to get seated although we had reservations. However, the food was excellent. We had the chowder trio, lobster roll, and half rock crab. Would recommend them all.
Food is always delicious. Service is impeccable. The menu has everything you’d dream of at a seafood restaurant. The owner is always friendly and helpful on site. The vibe here is awesome! We ar Slovaks and come bi-weekly.
Everything was good. Felt rushed. Just got my clam chowder and then my lobster roll was brought so couldn’t finish my chowder. I ordered the onion rings with my lobster roll which were yummy however they needed a sauce other than ketchup. All in all good. Just wish was a lot better for what we paid.
Fabulous seafood -THE restaurant for the best and freshest, perfect preparations! Excellent sides.
Service has been spotty past few times. Decor has never been great-their traditional patio fairly ok.
Tip-also a great burger, super value !
Very safe Covid setup. Service and food were both fantastic.
Always excellent!
Very high quality and delicious food. It was comfortable sitting outdoors too.
Overall excellent. Great experience. Only Minor Complaint is that my swordfish was over cooked.
My husband’s Birthday. Said pet friendly, but our server was afraid of dogs. Called ahead to confirm and let them know we had dogs. A little disappointed.
Anniversary
My favorite seafood place in LA. I almost always order the lobster roll, but everything is great. Both fried and grilled calamari are excellent. Servers are always very attentive and nice.
Great place for seafood and oysters to die for!
We came back to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was very attentive. The appetizers, entrees and dessert were all outstanding. I love oysters and clam chowder. The mussels and clams were in a rich lemony broth and the bread pudding was delicious. What a meal! Looking forward to our next anniversary.
It was the day Biden was president elect-Santa Monica was crazy, honking through the whole meal—-We LOVED it!!! The cuisine as usual was fantastic! The oysters, fish dip, clam strips, LOBSTER atoll...it’s all incredible-just go there! Oh and the chords!!
Overall experience is always amazing here. The lobster rolls... delicious!
Really well set up for social distancing and fresh dining experience. Temperature checks, directions on ways to walk, etc Staff did a great job making it a really enjoyable experience
The food is very good, but a little pricey. The outside dining setup in the parking lot leaves a little something to be desired. It needs to be stepped up a bit.
Great restaurant to go to during COVID. Outside seating, thoughtfully spaced, they are really careful about their presentation to you to keep you healthy: eg, mini sanitized cloth given to you with the return of your credit card so you can clean it immediately. Delicious sword fish and broccolini with olive tapenade, and their fish dip with crackers as a starter was perfect. Go make a reservation. Fun.
as always the best in the west, thank Pauline for the great service and I will be back next week for more clams on the half shell!!!!!!

Good food, good drinks, good service the tables were safely away.
This continues to be my local favorite. Freshest seafood you can find
CONBIE AND TEDS IS EVERYTHING QUEEN!! EAT HERE!
Always a pleasure. Superb service. Starting with Matt and Lorenzo.
The host was the best part of the service, very kind and very helpful.
The staff is super friendly and the ambience inside (when we used to be able to eat inside) is beautiful. My biggest complaint with the place is that it is outrageously overpriced and I’ve always found the food to be quite bland with few exceptions. Example: I ordered the herb crusted monkfish and it was a tiny portion and really lacked flavor. It was hardly worth the $30 price tag. Lobster rolls costing $29 is also quite pricey considering they are rather small.
Good food even if a tad expensive. Wonderful COVID safety procedures
Birthday celebration
Consistently great food, service etc., even during difficult circumstances due to the pandemic
Get the blondie, best dessert I ever had in my life. And the fish is outstanding!
Great, server was pleasant. Down side, no valet
Works well under covid! Nice to eat in such a safe way.
Our waitress was so fun and knowledgable! The food is simply the best in town!!!!
I recently had to go gluten free/dairy free. I ordered halibut cooked in oil and spices. When it arrived I found out they use butter. This was very disappointing. The menus should identify key ingredients
