Conner's Kitchen + Bar
Was a nice breakfast
Great experience except for extremely loud and annoying music.
My husband and I had brunch at Conners Kitchen on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Bobby, our server was very attentive and helped us select some great food choices.
If you like chicken and waffles you’ll love these with their bourbon maple syrup!
The drinks were good too!
Thank you for the feedback, Vicky. We will be sure to pass on the compliment to Bobby as well. We can't wait to see you again soon!
Severely understaffed. Food is very expensive for what you get. Our table of 3 was only asked once if we wanted anything from the bar during our 75 minute visit. Showed the server our “free app coupon” from Yelp, he acknowledged it but we were still charged for the app. We were hoping to make this our pre-game stop for Indians games. Looks like we will find another place.
Nice place but the menu is very limited and does not change all day.
Hi Chuck. Thank you for visiting. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Friday with an all-day brunch menu from 7am-4pm on weekends. We hope you'll come back and try some of our other options. We certainly appreciate the feedback.
There are so many dining options in Indianapolis that you should skip Conner's Kitchen unless it is raining out and you don't want to leave the hotel. The menu is rather limited and quite pricey. I had a hamburger and fries and it was merely okay. Again, you can grab a bite but with so many other options right outside the door, go get a yummy meal.
The staff and the management were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our Mother's Day extra special. First time for all three of us to be there. The pianist was phenomenal! The food was delicious! Definitely going back. It was a wonder experience all around. Highly recommend!
The food was good, but my breakfast burrito was only warm, not hot. My husband got the chicken and waffles and his waffle was only warm as well...the butter did not melt. However the chicken was delicious. They were also out of all the juices, which was disappointing. It was also Mother’s Day, so I’m sure they were busier than usual. We will try again on a non holiday.
What a great experience for Mothers Day brunch. Food was delish. Service was good. Complimentary Prosecco for moms! We will be back for sure!
Great place for brunch. Went there for mother's day and we had a great time
Atmosphere was amazing. The food was good except for the fish tacos were a little too charred but everything else was very good. Drinks (alcoholic) were well made. Server wasn't very attentive but the overall experience was very nice.
Great ambiance, extremely tasty food but service was sub par.
Second time we've been to Conner's Kitchen and Bar and it was absolutely amazing. Bri (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was tremendous. Did an awesome job of checking in with us but not bothersome which is a difficult balance to strike. She was funny, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, asked all the right questions, was accommodating, and made excellent recommendations. The butter cake was she recommended is a top 5 dessert. The chef working that evening personally walked out the cornbread appetizer he had made. My wife, who had a particularly terrible work week said that if she had to go through her week all over again just to get to eat that appetizer, she would do it. It's so rare that you have someone from the back of the house willing to come out and talk with the guests so that really made the dinner feel really special. The burger, in my opinion, is amazing. Nothing over the top or fancy, but everything a burger should be done perfectly. On our way out, the host, manager, and server thanked us for coming in. Kathrine, the manager on duty, made sure to give us her card and did a little promoting about future reservations. She told us that any time we wanted to come back, parties big or small, to reach out to her. Nice personal touch. The ambience upscale and modern but not to the point of being uncomfortable. We'll be back. Frequently.
Prices are a bit higher for lunch than other restaurants in the area but the quality more than makes up for the increase. The crab hush puppies and chicken enchiladas were both a hit with the group.
Ambiance is soothing and noise level was very quiet. I would recommend Connor's for a business lunch (moderately priced). Where they could improve is in the level of service. Our server checked on us some but not often enough for a restaurant at this price point.
The food was great can't wait to go back
Service is excellent and the food is fabulous! We will Definitely go back the next time we visit Indy!
Sunday brunch was amazing!!! i had the thick cut bacon eggs benedict with asparagus and tomatoes. It was outstanding and the tomatoes were incredible. I could eat this on the regular!!!
The old Fashioned drink was very very sweet. I specifically Told the server to tell the bartender I did not like it sweet and it was like Sarah he was kind enough to take it back and bring me another one which was still pretty sweet but not as bad as the first one so I just kept it and drink it
Service was a little slow but he was friendly enough
We had the brussels sprouts which were good and also had the crab hush puppies which were actually really good and we also had the hummus with vegetables and pita bread
Overall it was a good experience but I wasn’t impressed enough to want to return. The menu is small and not a lot of choices.
It was clean. They were friendly. Food was good. Drinks were ok.
Not bad for a late night snack place and drinks.
The music is VERY loud with a throbbing annoying beat. Very rude waitress. Mediocre food.
The service was attentive to a distracting degree. Server was being trained, which was fine, but trainer was too intrusive. Stopped by table too often and then duplicated comments and stops the server made. The trainer was also somewhat unpolished for the level of the restaurant. Manager also stopped by table three times. It became much too intrusive.
This was my first time, and I loved it! The food was delicious, staff was friendly, the piano player was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back.
The person who served our food basically gave zero eye contact and just shoved the entry on our table acting indifferent as they shuffled away.
Christopher was our server at 7:30 PM on Sunday, April 14th.
We had so much fun with him and he was very pleasant.
We had great conversations and he was most helpful with our parking situation.
We will certainly be return customers. The meal and beverages were great too.
Bernie Price and Jeff Thomas
Great Food Prices and Atmosphere! And let's not forget the Awesome staff
Menu for Saturday morning brunch as advertised was not what was available.
Food was okay.
Locations is good.
The service was really bad to start.
A server (not ours) poured coffee for me whileI waited for my friend. She indicated that our server would be over soon with my requested creamer. Ten minutes later - nothing - even though several employees walked past my table several times. I finally was able to get someone to buying creamer - this also took a while to finally get.
When I server finally made it over, I asked where she had been. She said that since my other party wasn’t there she didn’t come over. What?
Definitely won’t be back....
Came to the restaurant as part of a convention! It was great and the food and drinks were really good. The restaurant was a little loud and busy, but that’s alright because it was a busy day. Our servers were really attentive and nice despite the high volume of people!
This was the third time I visited this restaurant and the food is really not that good and the prices are not worth the money.I went was to use the $50.00 gift certificate that was given to by my job. The first time I went to this restaurant I had breakfast and the chicken and waffles were terrible the chicken was a fourth of a chicken breast and the waffle was cold. The food was so bad that the manager apologized and did not charge me for the meal. The second time I went there just to give them a second chance the food and to use the gift certificate . The meal came to $17.00 I wanted to use the gift certificate for the meal but it was not worth $50.00 and they did not want to give me the balance of the certificate so I paid for the meal with my credit card. I finally used the gift certificate on my third visit and the food still was sub par and I will not be going back to the place again.
food was very good and the servier was attentive, but we waited a while for our food.
When we arrived, we were sat in the corner of the restaurant by the bathrooms despite multiple tables being available. It took 5 minutes for our waitress to arrive to our table and we had to request water for the table. 2 of us ordered the Blackberry Spritz on special, and there was a reason it was on special. It tasted like a sour blackberry and it was very clear they were just trying to get rid of the Prosecco. We then ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer that did not come out until after our meals. The cheeseburger was something that could have easily been duplicated and Mac and cheese, subpar. Throughout our dining experience, our waitress would go missing for over 30 minutes at a time and did not try to correct the appetizer incident. I had been looking forward to dining at Conners and was extremely disappointed with my experience.
Service was great but the food was expensive for the portion and not very good. I had a half rack of ribs with very little meat, 1/2 cup portion of coleslaw and a very dry corn muffin...for $17...hubby had full rack, same portion coleslaw and same dry corn muffin for $28. The sauce was so spicy I couldn’t enjoy the ribs. Friend had the turkey meatloaf...the mashed potatoes were instant potatoes and meatloaf was bland. I guess if you eat at a restaurant connected to a hotel, you get what you pay for. Will never go back.
The absolute best eggs benedict I've ever had. The sauce was perfection and the bacon, just cant find words to describe. Treat yourself to this and you won't be sorry. I can assure you it will not be my last visit!!
Tasty and well-prepared food, great service, and very comfortable atmosphere!
I eat at Conner's at least once every two weeks. I work across the street at the Indiana Government Center. I love the Southern Fried Chicken. It is some of the best chicken in the city. I would eat there more often, but the price is a little high. At the visit on March 6th, one of the people I dined with did not receive her food at the same time as everyone else at the table. It took an additional 10 minutes for her to receive her salad. The manager did comp her food so that was nice. But it seemed strange that it took so long to bring a salad out but not fried chicken. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
The food was very good and it’s a little more expensive that I wanted it to be but it’s worth it for the food quality. Our server, Candy was so nice!
Delicious food! We ate there for both breakfast and dinner!
First time here and the experience was great. Service was quick, food hot and tasty, and there was even a piano player playing fun hits. It was a good start to the night.
Cool place with great food. Loved the crab hush puppies!
What a great find! Went here for my birthday with my husband and 11-year old daughter. We all enjoyed it. Cool ambience that was also rather quiet. Great service. And delicious comfort food. We enjoyed the hummus plate and cornbread muffins as appetizers. They got cheeseburgers for dinner, and I had ribs. A half-priced delicious cocktail was an added perk! And the dessert sundae was over-the-top with 10 or 11 different toppings placed around the plate. My only wish is that they had some kind of cookie or brownie based dessert. Highly recommend!
