Conner's Kitchen + Bar
Great location for events downtown. We really enjoyed the drinks at atmosphere. Food was just ok. Fish tacos aren’t recommended.
We will definitely return. The Cubano sandwich is fantastic. We only wish the burrata salad had had more tomatoes to go with the cheese and out-of-sight pesto. All around, a great meal.
So glad you enjoyed our burrata. It's one of our favorites!
Our experience was wonderful from making reservations online to enjoying delicious food. The service was impressive. Very pleasant atmosphere!
I met here to catch up with an old friend on a Sunday morning. We had beautiful and tasty drinks, delicious food - filling but not too much - and wonderful service. The patio seating is lovely, and the atmosphere inside is bustling but not frenetic or noisy. I would definitely return.
We visited on a Saturday night, so it was definitely loud. But our server was great and so was the food. The crab-stuffed hush puppies were fantastic! We also tried the loaded nachos, and the BBQ pork on them was incredible. We parked in the wrong Marriott parking deck, but they helped us get it straightened out. (Be sure to park in the regular Marriott parking deck instead of the JW Marriott deck if you're parking downtown and want to get your ticket validated!)
Sorry about the parking mix-up but we are glad you had a great time. Hope to see you again soon!
My wife’s and I anniversary! Great service and ppl amazing
Thanks for the great review! We hope to see you again soon.
Went on Saturday and they had an order off the menu brunch. The selections were limited, but sounded yummy. I had the eggs Benedict, which was good, but not great. The only side was 4 spears of asparagus.
We're sorry you weren't pleased with your Eggs Benedict but we're glad you took the time to review. We always appreciate constructive feedback as it helps us improve the guest experience. We hope to see you again soon!
Small but tasty menu. The restaurant delivers on good food, like fried chicken and ribs.
Thank you for the warm review. We look forward to your next visit!
Service was good. Food peas ok but the coleslaw was terrible.
The food was delicious and the service was great!!!
Thanks for stopping in April! We hope to see you again soon.
We had Sunday brunch and enjoyed the selection of food & drinks. Our drinks seemed to take a while even though there weren’t many people at the bar. I ordered the blood orange mimosa and it was made with OJ, not blood orange as stated on the menu. The appetizers were awesome! Overall, we enjoyed the food and drinks, location is great and walkable. We appreciated the parking validation and used the Marriott garage for free. They had A tv wall for those that want to watch sporting events. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an upscale brunch & cocktails.
Thank you for the kind review! We hope to see you again soon and we'll do our best to get your drinks out in a more timely manner next time. :)
The person who checked us in didn't seem too excited. The person who seated us was nice and our server, Ruby, was really great! The food was so good.
Delicious & quick service
Thanks for the great review Kelly! See you next time!
Dinner before a conference kickoff. Burger was great, drinks were on par.
Glad you enjoyed your burger! Hope to see you for your next conference!
Wow. So you will not go home hungry. We started with the Lump crab hush puppies. I could have made a meal of them. Amazing! Expected them to be more “fishy”, but not at all. Try them. You will be glad you did.
My husband had the cheeseburger because the reviews were so good. It did not disappoint. The fries were excellent too (we shared). I had the ribs and the cornbread. Oh lord. The cornbread was sweet and tasty! The only thing missing was some wet wipes but our server, Rachel, hooked us up. She was great. Always smiling and happy to answer whatever questions we threw at her. I had the cranberry mule. Loved it! What I really appreciated was that it was consistently good. Had two at dinner and one at the bar (thanks Cole!). Perfect every time. Good restaurant. Hidden in the city. That’s too bad. Really enjoyed it. Will make a point to come back.
Thank you for the great review! We will be sure to share the feedback with Cole and Rachel.
We came to Indy to celebrate our brother who just moved to town's birthday. Conner's Kitchen came highly recommended. The location is a bit off the main area, but a beautiful restaurant. The crab hushpuppy and burrata appetizers and delicious cocktails were our favorite. Our server was Ruby and she was excellent! Great food, beautiful ambiance (we sat on the patio near the heaters) and fantastic service. We'll be back!
Thanks for stopping in, Olivia. We're so glad you enjoyed Ruby's service and we hope to see you again soon!
I would like to start out by saying that “Rubi” our waitress definitely made us love conners after our first bad experience. Me and my fiancé went out for appetizer and drinks at conners for a second shot and it was the best service we had in a long time. Conners needs more wait staff like rubi especially for lunch. Great job team you made this night very special for me and my fiancé.
Thank you Rubi see you soon.
Thank you for the great review. Ruby is one of our many amazing team members and we are lucky to have her. We'll be sure to share the feedback!
Good bar-type food, nice drinks. A cut above many hotel dining rooms.
Thank you for the great review!
Everything was delicious!!
Thanks for the kind words! Hope to see you again soon!
Not a good experience at all hostess was super nice and that’s the extent of our experience
I'm very sorry to hear about your less than satisfactory experience in our restaurant. We're always looking for feedback to improve the guest experience. My name is Jake Miller and I'm the General Manager of Conner's. Please feel free to reach out to me directly jake.miller@whitelodgingdotcom so we can discuss. Thank you
Walking into Conner's, we were surprised at how big it is. There is a large bar seating area, and an even larger family dining area. The decor is clean and modern with a pleasant aesthetic. Before even sitting down, we were glad we made the choice to come here. Service was a bit slow, even though there seemed to be several employees working, so I would suggest not coming here if you're in a hurry. We started with the lump crab hush puppies and the smoked chicken wings. Don't skip the hush puppies - those are delish! For my entree, I got the spicy tuna poke salad. The top 1/3 layer was packed with fresh tuna, cucumber, bell pepper, carrots and sesame seeds, but disappointingly, the bottom 2/3 of my salad was iceberg lettuce, which seemed really boring for this type of salad. Definitely not worthy of $15. My husband got the Cubano sandwich, which he seemed to enjoy. We had to wait quite a while from the time our check was dropped off, until it was collected. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would definitely return to Conner's.
Awful food, service, and all around attitudes. This place needs a reality check
I'm sorry that you had a poor experience at our restaurant. We are constantly trying to improve and take guest feedback very seriously. Are there any other details to your visit that you wish to share with us so we can try to correct them in the future?
Was a nice breakfast
So glad you enjoyed your breakfast, Michael. Join us for brunch every weekend from 7am-4pm. We hope to see you again soon!
Great experience except for extremely loud and annoying music.
My husband and I had brunch at Conners Kitchen on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Bobby, our server was very attentive and helped us select some great food choices.
If you like chicken and waffles you’ll love these with their bourbon maple syrup!
The drinks were good too!
Thank you for the feedback, Vicky. We will be sure to pass on the compliment to Bobby as well. We can't wait to see you again soon!
Severely understaffed. Food is very expensive for what you get. Our table of 3 was only asked once if we wanted anything from the bar during our 75 minute visit. Showed the server our “free app coupon” from Yelp, he acknowledged it but we were still charged for the app. We were hoping to make this our pre-game stop for Indians games. Looks like we will find another place.
Nice place but the menu is very limited and does not change all day.
Hi Chuck. Thank you for visiting. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Friday with an all-day brunch menu from 7am-4pm on weekends. We hope you'll come back and try some of our other options. We certainly appreciate the feedback.
There are so many dining options in Indianapolis that you should skip Conner's Kitchen unless it is raining out and you don't want to leave the hotel. The menu is rather limited and quite pricey. I had a hamburger and fries and it was merely okay. Again, you can grab a bite but with so many other options right outside the door, go get a yummy meal.
The staff and the management were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our Mother's Day extra special. First time for all three of us to be there. The pianist was phenomenal! The food was delicious! Definitely going back. It was a wonder experience all around. Highly recommend!
The food was good, but my breakfast burrito was only warm, not hot. My husband got the chicken and waffles and his waffle was only warm as well...the butter did not melt. However the chicken was delicious. They were also out of all the juices, which was disappointing. It was also Mother’s Day, so I’m sure they were busier than usual. We will try again on a non holiday.
What a great experience for Mothers Day brunch. Food was delish. Service was good. Complimentary Prosecco for moms! We will be back for sure!
Great place for brunch. Went there for mother's day and we had a great time
Atmosphere was amazing. The food was good except for the fish tacos were a little too charred but everything else was very good. Drinks (alcoholic) were well made. Server wasn't very attentive but the overall experience was very nice.
Great ambiance, extremely tasty food but service was sub par.
Second time we've been to Conner's Kitchen and Bar and it was absolutely amazing. Bri (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was tremendous. Did an awesome job of checking in with us but not bothersome which is a difficult balance to strike. She was funny, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, asked all the right questions, was accommodating, and made excellent recommendations. The butter cake was she recommended is a top 5 dessert. The chef working that evening personally walked out the cornbread appetizer he had made. My wife, who had a particularly terrible work week said that if she had to go through her week all over again just to get to eat that appetizer, she would do it. It's so rare that you have someone from the back of the house willing to come out and talk with the guests so that really made the dinner feel really special. The burger, in my opinion, is amazing. Nothing over the top or fancy, but everything a burger should be done perfectly. On our way out, the host, manager, and server thanked us for coming in. Kathrine, the manager on duty, made sure to give us her card and did a little promoting about future reservations. She told us that any time we wanted to come back, parties big or small, to reach out to her. Nice personal touch. The ambience upscale and modern but not to the point of being uncomfortable. We'll be back. Frequently.
Prices are a bit higher for lunch than other restaurants in the area but the quality more than makes up for the increase. The crab hush puppies and chicken enchiladas were both a hit with the group.
Ambiance is soothing and noise level was very quiet. I would recommend Connor's for a business lunch (moderately priced). Where they could improve is in the level of service. Our server checked on us some but not often enough for a restaurant at this price point.
The food was great can't wait to go back
Service is excellent and the food is fabulous! We will Definitely go back the next time we visit Indy!
Sunday brunch was amazing!!! i had the thick cut bacon eggs benedict with asparagus and tomatoes. It was outstanding and the tomatoes were incredible. I could eat this on the regular!!!
The old Fashioned drink was very very sweet. I specifically Told the server to tell the bartender I did not like it sweet and it was like Sarah he was kind enough to take it back and bring me another one which was still pretty sweet but not as bad as the first one so I just kept it and drink it
Service was a little slow but he was friendly enough
We had the brussels sprouts which were good and also had the crab hush puppies which were actually really good and we also had the hummus with vegetables and pita bread
Overall it was a good experience but I wasn’t impressed enough to want to return. The menu is small and not a lot of choices.
It was clean. They were friendly. Food was good. Drinks were ok.
Not bad for a late night snack place and drinks.
