Overall good but had reservation for 6 and never got sat until around 6:25 after we reduced our party by 2 and left a few people to eat somewhere else. No Mgr offered apologies. They were very busy. Host did say he was sorry but didn’t have an answer and mgr just kept walking right by me and not saying anything.
Connors is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere
Service was great! As for the food, we had the Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer, and they were excellent. For dinner, my wife had the salmon and loved every bite of it. I had the ribs and they were just so-so. The cole slaw that came with it tasted like it came from the grocery store. Wine selections were excellent. I would definitely go back but choose a different entrée the next time.
Lucky to come on a night with half price appetizers. The pulled pork nachos were fantastic along with the bar beverages. Service was good and the restaurant was very nice! Wings were overpriced and greasy.
We always enjoy the great ambiance and the wonderful service at Conner’s.
I just love the filet mignon, it’s always cooked to perfection. However, I would prefer steamed vegetables instead of the starch options (fries or mashed potatoes).
The food was AMAZING but the service was awful! Our waitress could not remember what we ordered and would have to make multiple trips back to our table to ask us again. The only thing she got right was appetizers. Are your servers not aloud to write orders down?? We would love to go back for the food but will definitely request a different waitress!
Great bar/restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne. Conveniently next-door to the embassy theater for a preshow dinner/drink outing. Bar staff couldn’t be friendlier, food was excellent. Great whiskey selection, as well. I will definitely be going back (again and again…).
Awesome experience, the staff was kind and professional. Food and drinks did not disappoint.
We loved Conner's! Our server was excellent! The food was very good; we had cornbread, the chili, fish tacos, tomato soup and brussel sprouts. Everything was good and the drinks were good, too! Great downtown restaurant!
Very upscale but still $$ for the money.
The waitress was fabulous!
Great food, good service. Really a step up from what was in the location before.
They better figure out their customer service or there will be new place soon.
Great location, fun ambiance, trendy decor. We had Sunday brunch. Turkey Cobb Salad had a lovely presentation, and was fresh enough, but felt short on taste. It wasn’t bad, just not great (and I love yummy salads). It was ok. Breakfast was egg, sausage, potato. It was just ok, too. I’m sure we’ll be back to give the evening menu a try at some point. Service was on point and friendly.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review! We hope to see you again soon.
Great meal with awesome service
Thank you so much for your 5 star review!
Arrived early to check some other places near the location, ordered a beverage and sat outside in courtyard until dinner reservation time. Sat at table next to window. Employees were friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Price $$ Nice time with friends.
Thank you for your review, we will be sure to share your feedback with the team! We hope to see you again soon :)
The food was not good at all. I COULD NOT belive they would serve stale chips (guacamole and nachos). 4 out of 4 of us that went that night ordered multiple drinks, appetizers , and entres and we all flet the same, we were in good company with each other but the restraunt was sub-par and will not be going back. The drinks from their deink menu werent good either, they were watered down and you felt like you were drinking flavored water. Service was ok. Not spactacular but not amazing. Love the location.
We arrived for our 5:30 reservstion on time and were promptly seated at our table. We then never were greeeted by a waiter at all let alone asked for a drink order and we had been seated at least 10 mins. We walked out. Would not go back.
Started a little rough. They were busy and we waited 15 minutes to get a waitress. But once we had her she was amazing. She definitely made up for it, same with other servers. They checked in on use a few times too. Great food! Hush puppies... amazing!
Thank you for your 5 star review! We hope to see you again soon :)
Being that this was our second time being there, the first right after they opened which the food and service was very good. This visist was something to be desired? Even though our server Britt was very friendly, he was overwhelmed and in demand way to much to pay much attention to us. As for the food, the apps were the best part of the meal. My Fried Chicken which was supposed to be one of their go to meals was over breaded, over fried, and dried out. My wife's meal in her opinion was mediocre at best for the amount of money we paid for dinner it's very unlikely we'll be back or suggesting it to others.
The kitchen over cooked the chicken, the manager came out and apologized but did not offer to make it right, we just had to wait longer.
Was dark, FREEZING cold, and took 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks. Our appetizer was brought and finished before we ever got our cocktails . Service was terrible. Food was good.
It was great atmosphere but we had problems with gnats flying around us and in our drinks.
We made a reservation on open table but the hostess never confirmed it, so it ended up being “cancelled” and we didn’t get our points. (After calling the restaurant and several emails with opentable they did end up giving us the points, but it was anything but easy.)
After being seated, it was a few minutes before our server came by. We ordered drinks, which took over 10 min to get. I counted approximately 5 tables with patrons, so I’m not sure why the drinks took so long. The employees were all nice, but the table decor and salt/pepper weren’t out yet, so an employee came around to place these items and made a comment about not getting around to this task until now. Personally, this wasn’t a big deal to me, but from a professional standpoint it should’ve been done before guests were seated.
The food wasn’t very good. We ordered the BBQ chicken wings appetizer and tasted no BBQ flavor at all. Also, the wings were huge, like they came from a full grown chicken and there were only 3 on the plate. Again, not a huge deal, but an accurate description would’ve been nice since they weren’t traditional wings and that’s what the menu led us to believe we were ordering. The ranch that was served with it was not appealing at all because it was a mix of ranch and avocado and the flavor just wasn’t good.
When we tried to order our entrees the server realized we’d been given the wrong menu and what we wanted wasn’t available for lunch, so that was another disappointment. Once our meals were served mine was missing the onion for some reason (I had a burger), the pickles were scant, and thankfully I asked for the secret sauce to be on the side because that also didn’t taste good. It had the tang like in miracle whip and seemed to be mixed with ketchup or the like and that was about it. Odd taste and no apparent thought or mastery behind it. I only ate half and didn’t bother to take the rest home. My husband had the burritos and said they were fine but not worth the price.
Loved the 1/2 price appetizers. Very generous portions. Our waitress Maigen was exceptional. She answered all of our questions and made great recommendations when asked. Our dinners were very good. Wonderful dining experience
Thank you so much for your 5 star review, we will be sure to share your great feedback with Maigan and the team. See you soon!
Very friendly service. Amazing fried chicken and enchiladas.
We sat outside so it was a little noisy when some of the cars would rev their motors and speed down the street like idiots. But other than that the food was great! Just what downtown needed.
Made a reservation a week before for an outside table. Showed up at 815 no outside table. DID NOT GET OUR FOOD UNTIL 1015PM. The food was terrible not cooked right. We didn't realize it would take 2 hours to even get a salad. WILL NEVER GO BACK.
For a lunch time service it was way too slow. Most people do not have 1.5 hours for lunch and that is how long it took.
Loved the experience, felt very comfortable! The food and service was great. I say everyone try it out at least once.
Loved everything about our experience. We were celebrating a birthday and it was an excellent choice!! The ambience is very trendy. Fun vibe. Happy hour was nice and like that there is a daily drink special. Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely ambiance and the food and drinks are beyond delicious!
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind words. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Very nice. Food great. The loud music made conversation hard.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review! We hope to see you again soon
Served old nachos sent back came back burnt
I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes and they were burnt. Had to redo them and by the time I got them the rest of my party was done eating. I was with my Dad on Father's Day. His French toast dish was excellent however.
They burned all 3 of my kids grilled cheese and put the burnt side down..... it was black and they knew it which is why they tried to hide it. It took them until every adult was done eating until they brought out new food without a single sorry or anything. My salad was ok, but the overall experience made me not want to return.
All around awesome, from food to service. This will become a new normal stop for us.
Very disappointed!! We had a reservation yet it took 15 minutes for someone to even address us and give us menus etc then another 35 minutes to get our food. We ordered Mac and cheese as an appetizer and it actually came out after our main dish. No way should this Mac and cheese be $16 it was a small portion to be considered a main entree anyway and it was not only not delicious but came out so hot we couldn’t eat it for another 15 mins the Cuban sandwich the bacon was so fatty ruined the whole thing. I wanted to call and complain but thought we just would never go again but since your asking we gave them a poor score all around
Had a great time having dinner. Drinks were on point and the food was great!
