Really enjoyed our meal at Comune. Fried rice and kimchi was our favorite. Also liked the spaghetti squash (pad thai) dish, charred broccoli and spicy fries. Nice unique wine selection. Server was very pleasant.

Outstanding! If I could cook vegetarian food like this you'd never see a chicken in my kitchen again! Everything we ordered for apps and entrees was creative and flavorful. The seasonal menu means we'll have to return to see what's next...happy to do that! I would likely pass on the desserts next time. I had plenty to enjoy from the early courses and didn't really need the extra calories.

The atmosphere was nice. The host wasn't the friendliest but our server was great and everything was very timely. All of the cocktails we had were great. The potatoes and bread apps were really good. The potatoes were pretty spicy though so be mindful of that! I had the mushroom main and it was good. I guess I don't love trumpet mushrooms though I would have preferred a portobello.

Everything was wonderful. But sis that bathroom....just hold it in. It’s creepy. You all need to not have that lighting and creepy audiobooks playing in the dark. Guess what I’ve NEVER wanted to hear in the dark while I’m vulnerable and peeing? A strangers voice.

I have been a vegetarian for 40 years and was so excited to try your vegetarian fare. The food was delightful, tasty and satisfying. The service was excellent. My frustration with your restaurant was the very tiny print on the menu. I had my glasses with me but I absolutely could not read it. I had to ask my friend to read me the menu. It was also very dark in there which added to the frustration. I was treating my friend for her birthday and when the check came, I could not read it either so had to ask my friend for the total. It was embarassing. I am 62 years old and have plenty of friends to dine with and am able to dine out often. I would like to come to Comune more but tiny menus are annoying to me. I guess I will have to remember to bring a magnifying glass next time. Thanks for listening.

The food was delicious! It’s so refreshing to have vegetarian and vegan options here in Columbus. The chili flavored cauliflower hit the spot and drinks were flavorful. My only negative is that since it is a small place, the seats though not meant to be shared tables, were virtually so due to the close proximity of seats. You could easily listen to other people’s conversations and vice verse and we had a loud group at the end of our seating area which made listening to your own party’s conversation more challenging. If you go in thinking it as community based seating and you’re ok with that, then you definitely won’t be disappointed!

As vegetarians, my husband and I were looking forward to dinner here. The food, while somewhat over-priced, was creative, well-seasoned, and fresh with unique flavor pairings. Delicious. Wait staff was attentive and responsive. Despite being mostly empty, we were seated in the back in a narrow room facing the bare patio with a view of a gas station, squished elbow-to-elbow between tables of four guests in each side. The music was so loud in the tiny space that all of us were shouting to be heard. Rather than a slow meal of conversation and savoring the meal, we ate efficiently, skipped dessert and coffee and left to end the night elsewhere. One of the parties at the four-top did the same and moved on as well. What was most disappointing, as we left, was the realization the larger dining room in front was still as empty as when we arrived and was much quieter with more space between each table. We had a reservation, so it was not like we scored the last table in the house. Will return in the summer when the patio is open and try again. Oh, and despite advertising a full bar, they couldn’t make a Bloody Mary! 🤣

Brought my wife for her birthday. We used to dine out all the time but I went gluten free several years ago and my wife went vegan last year. Most of the time dining out revolves around our restrictions. it was truly a treat to be able to order basically anything we wanted. This allowed us to focus on each other rather than what we could or couldn’t have, a rarity to be sure

Food was fantastic and service very good. We were in the back room, which is very narrow with a total of 4 tables. We felt very separated from the energy that was very obvious in the main dining room. The good news was that it was quiet and we could hear each other talk. The meal was wonderful though! One couple was vegan and the other carnivores. We all loved it.

Great first experience. We split three dishes so we could sample more things - good sized portions, probably only needed two for two people. Loved the Dan Dan Noodle Bowl. Sandwiches were unique. Not a fan of the potatoes. We were early to arrive and it was quiet, but it filled up over the lunch hour. Quite loud once the room is full. Also, no drinks available if the bartender is not in (he wasn't). Overall a nice experience. I'd go back.

The experience of Comune was satisfying . The dishes were well designed and delivered with delicious results. The one catch , the one glitch that kept the experience from reaching another level was the music choice for the dining room. The choice of music should reflect the concept of the restaurant. With the clean minimalist interior design of the restaurant and the homage to the world of vegitarian fare I just fell that an auditory environment of more ambient ethereal vibes , which can still have an artful flare with choices say of artists such as Massive Attack, Air, Portishead, Tricky, Bjork, and the more film score sounding work of Trent Reznor. Then the journey would be complete for me. I wouldn’t have even minded hearing the whale sounds that were playing in the restroom. Plainly put , the edgy hip hop is against the grain and a texture that detracts rather than adds in this particular setting.

If you are a true foodie you will thoroughly enjoy the flavors and not even miss any of the traditional proteins. The flavor profiles are exciting. If you are a vegetarian you applaud having a place that can compete with traditional foodie places in Columbus. Great vibe as well. I put it up there with my favorite places in Columbus. If you forced me to gripe about something it would be the value of the drinks. They are inventive and flavorful and with great ingredients but they are a bit small for the price but it’s worth it for the uniqueness. Again not complaining just full disclosure. Please keep up the great work. I will definitely be visiting again.

One of my favorite places in town. Vegetarian focus but great depth, while also fresh, hearty and filling for anyone. Creative takes on all their dishes from new American/Asian and Mediterranean. I recommend sharing a bunch of things with a small group of people. Extensive Vegan wine list, great cocktail program and small selection of rotating drafts.
