   Food was good. Service was poor, 5:45 booking no one talked to us till 6:10 or so, multiple talked by. No one came to explain menu and take order. Order by app, service of food came quick and food was good. Forgot fries and garlic dip, had to ask multiple times and second time was made to feel like it was a burden. Shame as food was good. Be hard to recommend unless next time services was better.

   Restaurant was fabulous, we booked for 18.30 new years eve only to arrive and to be told the restaurant was closed, however they were fabulous and agreed to honor the reservation, we were the only people in the restaurant so ambience was ..... quiet, food was really great but we felt rushed as they had stayed open just for us. Tip check with restaurant direct as it was open tables fault that we were able to book

   The food was lovely as were the staff but the service was incredibly slow, we repeatedly had to ask for things or chase them up and it wasn’t until nearing the third hour we were in there that staff started to apologise to us for the wait. There was also a one filthy toilet for the whole restaurant so there was constantly a queue, the floor was covered in water and the toilet set was cracked and hanging off.

   Attended with mother for pre theatre dinner. Her chicken "kebab" dish with salad and spiced fries on the side looked amazing, as did her set custard type dessert. I had to rely heavily on the allergen folder as I'm allergic to nuts and sesame oil and most the things I wanted included sesame (evdn the fries!). I was warned many times that everything is cross contaminated, but I took a punt on a dish which said it was safe on the allergen list and it was lovely (chicken and olive tagine). Blood orange sorbet to follow was one of the best desserts I've had it a long time, and my mother liked my spritz drink so much she wanted her own The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Decor was amazing. Overall a lovely dinner. Only criticism is that I would've liked a bit more choice for sesame free and know it was prepared safely.

   We came on Saturday for a pre-theatre meal and despite being busy (with a new chef), service was pretty good and the staff were very friendly. We thought the food was delicious and I shall certainly eat at a Comptoir Libanais again.
