We had a great server, Yusmany and he made for a great experience. He explained the menu, the chef and made the dinner fantastic. The food was delicious. We are sad that we were away and returned to Miami this weekend and thankfully I had booked the restaurant before we left.

Food was exceptional. Culturally relevant and rich in flavors. An embodiment of a chef who honors her story and the people she serves. It is my hope she does select Miami for a permanent location. She gets it. Thank you, Chef Nina.

Dined at Compere Lapin In New Orleans. Was so excited that there would be a pop up here and got to eat the fried chicken with hot honey and coconut grits again. There is no better fried chicken anywhere and the coconuts grits are outstanding. The hamachi crudo and biscuits with mango butter and lardo butter were amazing. Nina Compton is an incredible chef.

We have eaten at Compere Lapin in New Orleans, food it’s just as great, the menu here is pretty limited, food was great, the kitchen could be a little bit faster putting out the food, dessert were outstanding

Expected a lot more from Nina. Service was nonexistent. Portions were small. Ceviches were very good. Fried chicken mushy. Bronzino was very small,(Probably a pound) for $85.Bananas Forrester were eh.

We were sat and waited about 20 minutes before my husband had to waive over someone on staff to speak to us at all. The entire time there was plenty of different levels of staff walking around not doing much and not noticing the table was being ignored. No one ever acknowledged this happened, no one apologized. The food was mediocre, the wine list was just not up to par. We were all really disappointed and it was really sad because it was something we were all so looking forward to.
