Went for an anniversary dinner, had a decent time and paid in cash as well as leaving a tip using a credit card. Found out shortly after that I'm being charged again for my meal. Pretty shady practices, avoid if possible

We have gone here for birthday dinners twice and each time we had amazing food and great service. I love the view and all the facts given when you rotate around.

The views and food are great! Service and desert could be better though. Nothing was bad about the service but we were never offered a wine list or asked for a drink order. This seems like a huge miss on the restaurants part. The black and white cake was dry with no flavor so we took one bite and left. This is rare for us not to finish anything sweet. We were the only people in the place since it opened early for the final four. Could not reserve on open table but did on yelp and it would only let us do 5:30 even though a hotel manager told us it would open at 5. I went to the hotel concierge to update our time but was told I would have to call once they opened because the concierge can not make reservations at the restaurant in the hotel. He also was not aware it was opening early. If I was a concierge I would call myself or use yelp myself for the customer if the hotel did not empower me to help a guest. Mind you he was not at valet or doing anything else. the elevator also did not work at 5pm so we had to get engineering to help us get up to the restaurant. seems like the hotel does not have good communication or customer service so just keep that in mind if you want to check this place out.

We arrived at 6pm for our reservation and were promptly seated with menus. Our server came to our table 15 minutes later to take our drink order and since we had so long before she arrived, we also placed out app / dinner orders also. 10 minutes later our appetizers come out from another servers but still our drinks had not arrived. Finally a full 30 minutes after we arrived and we sat at the table our drinks arrived. The server was apologetic, but I don't believe that they "got it". The apps and dinners we ordered we prepared well and were tasty. After our dinners came out the manager came over to see how everything was. I explained the misteps at the start and she offered to comp the first round of drinks and offered the explanation that the kitchen was also in charge of the bar and that they were backed up. I dunno, but I've never heard of a kitchen also being in charge of the bar, but anyway. While the Compass has an amazing rotating view, I would not go back again, nor recommend this restaurant to anyone because of how poor the service was.

Beautiful restaurant and very unique but food was average. Clam and lobster chowder was too thick and didn't have a nice taste. Pork chops were overcooked and without flavor. The flat bread appetizer was good.

The food was exceptional, but there wasn't as much selection as I would have liked. The food that was available was amazing, but I still would have liked to see more selection.

Food was just okay. I ordered a salmon but it was overcooked. The sides are cooked just right. But nothing really extraordinary. The view was great though!!

it was my wife's birthday and she is a vegan. Your staff was fantastic in catering to us. Food was great. Only complaint--large groups next to us was noisy--not your fault
