My friend from Kentucky loved the experience, the pizza and the meatballs were outstanding as always.
Love the delicious food and service so much... My fave pizza! But the techno music they loudly play at 4pm is just awful! No one could hear one another to have a convo! A nostalgiac place should have nostalgiac music during early dining hours...it was really annoying...
We heard the pizza is good. We didn’t know they are making the Sicilian style pizza ala Cloverleaf and Buddy’s. How cool. We enjoyed a traditional pepperoni, cheese pizza called The Granny. The Bibb and Beet Salad with grapes, corn and roasted walnuts is very good. Food is great. Assuredly worth a visit. I can see us going back. There’s parking in the back and a rear entrance.
Pizza crust is wonderful! Lemon dressing on the salad was tasty. Our server was very attentive.
Great restaurant works really good pizza and drinks. Went with friends Saturday and had a great experience. It was very busy, but service was still great and very fast. Awesome experience, will be back
The food and service are always excellent! It’s one of my favorite restaurants.
Super yummy gluten free pizza and good wine. Great prices and super friendly service
Waitress barely said 2 words.
Bbq ribs had all the taste boiled out of them. Only taste was the bbq sauce which was ok. Wings were barely ok to eat. Burger was very basic burger. Salmon was a small serving.
Everything was over priced.
It's a pizza place, nothing more. I suggest sticking with th he over priced pizza if you end up in this place for whatever reason.
The pizza is very good, however, I think it’s overpriced. $15 for 4 slices is quite a bit.
It’s no Buddy’s. It’s adequate but there are better. For a Zack Sklar place, the setting and food are surprisingly mediocre.
Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The items on the menu I felt were over priced for the type of food being served. Even though the menu is a bit pricey the food was great.
The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had! The service was excellent and it’s a great menu. I truly appreciate all of the gluten free options. If I lived closer, I’m sure I would eat here on a weekly basis.
The food was amazing! It was a little loud for a date night but the food and the service was great.
There was a festival so the menu was limited. This was not told to me by hostess or waitress. I was set on ordering the salmon as I reviewed the menu before I went. I was disappointed to see it was not available due to the limited menu. I also had the meatballs and they were cold, like they were recently taken out of the refrigerator. The manager took them off the bill. I love the restaurant and have eaten there before but this time there were some disappointments. I will go back. Love the patio and music and the food has been great when I dined there before.
Como’s pizza is nothing less than outstanding . Crusty edges delicious toppings. Great appetizers . And the key lime pie is great with supper thick graham cracker crust .
1. Asked the server if the meatballs we wanted were spicy. He said flat out, no. Just the opposite - the sauce used on there is chili powder/sauce - the same stuff you would put in a pot of chili. Couldn't eat the meatballs.
2. The drink I ordered had too many other items in it - I've never had a drink with so much ice, cucumber, and basil? with no straw.
3. Pizza (LGBT) had a sauce issue too. Too spicy - but waiter didn't seem to know that.
Lack of basic communication (and someone that can prepare a drink) put a huge damper on our dining experience that night.
Food and service was good, noisy and parking could be a problem.
Music was way too loud and couldn’t even hear each other at one of the small four tops. Food was just okay for the price. Disappointing for a Sklar restaurant.
Music on patio was so loud, had to shout to hear someone across the table. Pizza sauce tasted funky which sucked bc the crust was amazing
Always a great time! Food & service, perfect! Best Pizza!
pizzas got expensive bc each topping was extra. Crust on gluten free pizza was tasty! Brick chicken had good flavor but was more breading than chicken
What a difference a couple of years and a new owner makes! We went for brunch and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try the new chef’s take on pizza. Boy we weren’t disappointed! Though the pizza is deep dish, the flavors don’t get lost in too much crust, which is deliciously crispy around the edges. Cocktails were excellent as well. A great time - we will definitely be back! Well done!!!
This was a Sat night at 6:15 pm and the music was loud with thumping bass. We could not talk or hear the server. The Mgr did turn it down somewhat.
The pizza was great but way overpriced- $26 for a large - Jets or Buddy’s is $18 for the same size and ingredients. Detroit style.
The antipasto salad at $11 was all head lettuce and white at that.
Find a better value.
The pizza is amazing, pepperoni is out of this world. They even have Noble Ghost on tap
The updated restaurant looks beautiful. The seating (we sat inside) was a bit tight. We had antipasto salad and a Baller pizza, both were very good. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. It was a positive experience.
We had a nice time at Como's. The pizza was tasty, and the beet salad was good too. The service was excellent. They were very accommodating with a large party. They ran short of pizza spatulas which was odd, and it was a bit loud although not terrible. I'd go back.
Amazing! Will be sure to visit when we’re back in MI
I love Como's... food is great, atmosphere is wonderful. Friday night music is the best, other nights are good too. I missed Como's when they were closed, happy they are back open.
Patio seating. Very nice
Best place for patio brunch in Detroit area - hands down. You can’t beat the atmosphere and live band. The skillet option is delicious and the pizza is outstanding.
Great place 💯%
We went here on a Friday night with a group of friends. The service was wonderful. Large menu with lots of great selections and beer choices. The BBQ chicken pizza was great!! :)
It was a blast. It was a beautiful day in Detroit and all ages were enjoying themselves. Skinny margaritas great!
way too noisy couldn't hear yourself think or talk to other people at table ...very good food ... great server
Although the food was fabulous, the music being piped into the dining area was ear-splitting. It was so loud that conversation was impossible. We will not be returning.
Yummiest pizza ever
Love the new Como’s! Food (antipasto salad and LGBT pizza) was great. Service was even better on a techno-fueled Friday night. Our server (wish I had gotten her name) wasn’t fazed by the large and noisy patio crowd!
Kudos to Zack Sklar on cleaning up the joint!
Really like the “new” *improved* Comos’ ! ..repeat..repeat
Lovely meal. Great part of the city.
Not the same level of food or service as at Zach Sklar's (Peas and Carrots Hospitality Group) other restaurants. No host stand at the front door. Very loud inside though the dining room was half empty. Interior design is unattractive. I specifically went there for the "create your own salad" yet it was not on the menu. I had to get up and ask the hostess for that specific menu since the waitress was nowhere to be found. The waitress did not appear for 10 minutes. We presented our "write in" paper salad menus with our ingredient selections checked off. My salad arrived missing FOUR of the ingredients I had selected! My friend's salad was missing one ingredient, and she had to ask twice for the dressing that she had ordered on the side. Two of my ingredients had a $1.00 upcharge each, and it would have been appropriate to, at the very least, take those charges off of the bill for our inconvenience. Had I asked, they may have done it; however, I shouldn't have had to ask. Disappointing.
