Great good service and atmosphere.
This location has a great view, but subpar dining experience. We went here for a special birthday dinner, but were disappointed with the food and service. We ordered the burrata and crab salad for starters, but the crab was swimming in sauce and the burrata was served soggy. Our waiter was fairly inattentive throughout, and we had to ask for our entrees twice because he forgot to put the order in with the kitchen. While the main course was tasty, our waiter left us alone with empty drinks for over 30min and it was difficult to enjoy pasta while thirsty. At the end of the night after dessert, most guests already left, we were still waiting for our bill, another 20 minutes and still no waiter. I got up and asked a busser to find him, and when he did show up he said "sorry, I forgot you were still here." The final bill also had incorrect items which I had to point out.
Very disappointed. Food was absolutely awful. Have eaten here pre-COVID many times and tried it again yesterday. The gnocchi was inedible -- it was 80% balsamic vinegar and that was all you could taste. The lamb sausage in the dish was burned and turned into balsamic flavored cardboard. The wild boar ragu pasta was equally tasteless. That used to be their signature dish. Wonder if the chef left. Not going back again.
We have loved both of our visits to Como and will be back soon. Amazing cocktails! The pasta made from scratch is so delicious. Carbonara and the stone fruit gnocchi are outstanding choices. Also, we really enjoyed the strawberry dessert!
Como has a lovely setting with great views of Lake Washington. The interior and outside seating are very nice. Food offerings are unusual; and not everyone will find something they enjoy. Quality of the food is fine, but not such a great value. Wines by the glass are a poor value as well. As pleasant a it is overall, I would be reluctant to recommend it to friends. They might not find it to their liking The host and service were pleasant.
Perfect place for a night out with girlfriends - food was wonderful, ambience is fantastic. We can't wait to go back!
Great server Tiffany. Front house needs a little polish on manners. Food was delicious!
Lovely, open and airy space; beautiful water view; exceptional staff; very good food.
Great service, good food with a nice view!
This was a perfect evening seating for two outdoors by the water. Our server was great and the appetizers were delicious. We ordered pasta dishes and ended the evening with tiramisu and cappuccino!!! The ambiance was perfect! We will definitely come back.
Beautiful restaurant that whisks you away to the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Food is wonderful and the staff are genuine in making your visit a special one.
Hi Troy, Thank you for your feedback! We do validate parking, so we will remind our staff to make this more apparent moving forward. We hope to see you again!
The food and drink tasted wonderful and the view was beautiful. Service was professional. Menu is a little pricier, but the quality does show so it was worth it. Noisy atmosphere and the windows were left open after dark so it started getting cold inside, but it was tolerable. I would recommend this place and I’ll be going back.
Lovely food and gorgeous setting. Will be back.
Had awesome dinner on the patio. Great food and great view!
Food is excellent, service top notch and ambiance perfect. I can highly recommend this for a romantic dinner and definitely fir for foodies.
Always love our time at Como. A bit loud where we were seated but our waiter was tuned in and made a point to talk to us apologizing. We din,t complain but his level of awareness was amazing.
If you have a food allergy, you might want to avoid this restaurant. I took my girlfriend out for a special birthday dinner, but sadly, it was no better than average, and I came away with a very very sore stomach. I am gluten and dairy free and it bothers me when restaurants don’t make an effort to ensure that they can cater for allergies. I am not dairy or gluten intolerant, I am actually allergic, and my allergies are no joke. I get migraines from dairy and a very sore gut from gluten, that takes anywhere from hours to days to calm down again.
I even called the manager and owner(?) when I got home to tell him that they didn’t succeed in providing me with a gluten free experience. He asked the meal order number to check that the server had placed the order correctly in the kitchen, and he had. So, the error happened in the kitchen. He promised he’d call me back today, but alas I never heard back.
Honestly, I don’t like writing average reviews, but I gave them the chance to explain what happened, and they didn’t even give me the courtesy of a call back. I get the feeling they really don’t care.
Our waiter was overall pleasant, but it seemed to be an effort. You get the sense it’s not a happy place to work.
By the way, when you go out to sit on the outdoor patio seating area, the manager will come by and tell you not to stay longer than two hours. I felt that it was said rudely, and that they could have done a much better job explaining why they needed a turnaround every two hours.
The location is awesome and the sunsets to live for. So, there’s that.
PS. I wish they’d have the menu translated into English. I think we get that the restaurant is Italian, but very few people locally speak the language, and the staff have to work really hard to explain every line item for most guests.
Have been there 2x now. The service is OK but not great. I didn’t find any of the staff to be all that friendly. Food is so-so and I find myself wishing for more flavor. The view and ambiance, though, are great. I hope their service and menus improve as this otherwise could be a great place.
The ambiance on a sunny afternoon was lively and fun. The noise was so loud inside that my husband
Every moment was great!
Very elegant with a great service and the best view!
Great meal, wonderful ambiance on the deck watching the boats come and go! Perfect!
Amazing place, service and delicious food! 100% recommended
Beautiful day on the patio at Como! With the view, the pasta and the wine, it felt like we were on the Amalfi coast! highly recommend.
Great view, food was good, wine is expensive. The menu has lots of Italian description which is unintelligible to the unsophisticated diner. The server had to explain a lot
Host and manager provided exceptional service.
Looking forward to my next visit.
Great view- food was excellent. A little noisy outside but fun. Service was awesome s
Food was excellent!!!
Fantastic food , fantastic ambience , fantastic view
My new favorite place in the Seattle area! The crackers and aioli are amazing!
Wife and I love to go here. Feels like we are in Europe for dinner. Fun place to eat.
Incredible service! Gorgeous views and phenomenal food.
Absolutely love Como! Amazing food, vibes and drinks! Love the view too.
Great food with a great view. We Will be back for sure.
Loved it and had a great time service was amazing food was great the only thing that we all said and even the waitress it was a bit too noisy not sure carpeting on the floor would help but other than that it was great
Delicious! Menu is hard to understand though.
We ordered food that ended up being dry. This is a first for me as I've been to Como several times and each time the food has been perfection. It also felt as if our waiter was trying to rush us. Again, that was a first.
Fantastic service, atmosphere and food. Always consistently great.
Dismal dinner at COMO. Having great service when dining out
is very enjoyable, appreciated and important to our family. COMO did not deliver
from the moment we gave them our reservation information and they
hadn't paid attention to the details. (As in a covered patio table Plz.)
Our server was shockingly pushy and unfriendly. For a table of four, during Covid, the requested table maximum length of stay is 2 hours. So why were we 10 minutes into
trying to enjoy our mediocre cocktails, waiting on appetizers, and the server is demanding our dinner order. He finally asked us, "can I check back in 5 or 10 minutes?"
And I said, "Make it 15." Who wants to be pushed around at dinner time and treated poorly???
So then let's talk about the food.......a melon/ burrata salad with frozen cantaloupe.
Lamb chops so meager with no substantial side and pasta's so sad and bland, all our table of four could think was we should have cooked at home. We will never ever give COMO another chance to ruin our dinner time.
Overall it was great experience! The foods and drinks were great. The atmosphere was wonderful but sadly the day was cloudy which was typical of the Pacific Northwest. However the ambiance and the decor of the place more than makes up for the lack of a beautiful sunset yesterday.
Unfortunately they ran out of the lasagnette so I had the pappardelle with wild boar ragu which was really good. It was very tasty and the portion size is just right but err on the side of larger.
Price wise it’s definitely not the cheapest but this is a special place for special occasions and with such nice view and decent food/drink I think it’s worth the price.
