Local, sustainable, casual, delicious. Each bite is better than the last. We will miss CT more than they know. 💔

I've owned a home in the area for 5 years now and it astonishes me that any town so close to New York--a major destination for fine dining--would have so many restaurants that look wonderful and inviting but have menus that may have been created the Eisenhower administration. Granted, Community Table is a bit more expensive, but not exponentially so. That said, the menu is inventive and different, the plating is beautiful and portions are relatively small but appropriate so that after eating an appetizer and a main course with a glass of wine, I was pleasantly satisfied rather than stuffed.

Community Table was a gem in an area which is becoming known for good food. The local, creative menu included something for everyone. Their cocktails were innovative and the wine & beer list was quite good. We enjoyed going there for dinner or even just drinks after an event. This restaurant and its place in our community will be missed.

We ate here to celebrate a friend's birthday, but also because we heard the very sad news that they're closing on 5/15/17, so we wanted to enjoy one last meal here before the doors closed for good! The food has always been amazing, and very creative, using local stuff as much as possible. It's utterly fresh and expertly prepared, with everything popping, crunching, flaking, or melting in your mouth as it's supposed to do. The decor and ambiance is clean and sort of contemporary with rustic materials; it's a trendy combo and well suited to the food they serve. They also have a "community table" where you may be seated with others you'll meet as you eat – pretty neat! We're sorry to see it go, but hope another establishment picks up here where Community Table leaves off, with equally stellar results! Thank you, Community Table!

It was my first time and I brought my grown son because he likes unique food. We weren't disappointed. Every item on the menu was unique and we loved our meal. It was quiet so we could really talk. Service was superb. The accommodated my gluten problem. I highly recommend it.

Each and every time was a remarkable experience. The food unparalleled... I really hope someone comes in and does something with this lovely, yet simple space.

This is an exceptional restaurant in Litchfield County. Having driven past many times, we gave it a try and we were not disappointed! Great food and service, sophisticated atmosphere, interesting menu, it has it all... worth the trip!!

Lovely meal! Cozy but a bit noisy atmosphere. Attentive wait staff.

The food is really imaginative, the hostess is delightful and efficient, but the waiter was completely useless and the bartenders were far too busy being sociable to do their jobs. The problem with many of the staff is that they don't have much interest in the diners. Yet despite this, the food is so interesting that we go back because of the chef and the lovely Briana , who always makes you feel welcome.

Community Table stands alone in Litchfield County as a restaurant with understated elegance, a cozy ambience and delicious food sourced locally. It's got a very lively bar and don't miss their signature martini.

Community Table remains the most imaginative, interesting restaurant in the area. What other restaurant has a forager on staff. Excellent service from Briana. If only the chairs were a little more comfortable...we ate every morsel.

My husband and I visited Community Table for the first time on Easter Sunday, 2017. Our meal was absolutely heavenly. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, perfectly pairing wine to my appetizer and entree. He answered all my husband's question and gave us ample time to decide on our courses. We will remember this excellent meal for many years to come.

The food was wonderful. The staff helpful. Our reservation was for a mid April Friday at 9 which we pushed back to 8:45. (They serve to 10 on Fri/Sat) By 9:30 we were the only people in the dining room The staff was great offering us desert and coffee but it was very clear we were the last thing between them and the door. It may get better as summer progresses but if you want a relaxing meal now get in by 8:00
