Commonwealth, located in Burbank, is a tapas-style restaurant that serves plates with a global flair. Located among the major chain restaurants, they strive to provide the ultimate culinary experience using the small-plate genre to allow patrons to sample a wide variety of dishes in a single visit. The menu, which features menu options from all over the world, are designed to bring all visitors together through the enjoyment of unique dishes and great drinks. Diners can sample entrees from the Raw Bar, where they'll discover pink snapper carpaccio and albacore scoops; the Land options that include nueske bacon and Hudson Valley duck confit; or Commonwealth's sea options that deliver steamed mussels, seafood risotto and shrimp dumplings. Vegans will also find a wealth of salads from which to choose from including golden beets and arugula and truffle mushroom risotto salads. Tables are limited, so reservations are strongly recommended.

It was closed when we got there.........we should get a free meal considering it was my wives bday & no one told us it’s closed😡

Not real happy with Commonwealth or OpenTable. The last two times I've made reservations through OpenTable for the Commonwealth everything went through fine. Even recieved reminders for my plans. Only to show up and the restaurant be closed. These attempts were months apart. But still left us searching for an alternative. Happy camper, I am nit.

They probably should have had this back deck open well before the pandemic. Though not quite the same ambiance, it still did the trick and we really enjoyed our dinner.

Low score for ambiance because it is outside dining so how high can I really go? Don't be fooled by outside appearance, this place is legit.

This restaurant is a gem, the food is exquisite, very unique and tasty. The service and ambience is wonderful, I highly recommend Commonwealth
