   A fun night out listening to a songwriters round table. Great music and a fun spot to meet friends. Cool vibe, chill and laid back. Food was small portions and a little pricey for what it is but the taste was fantastic. I had short ribs with roasted veggies and my wife had the salmon. Both excellent.

   Our waitress was beyond bad. Didn't check in with us re. food. My soup was luke warm and starchy. My son's dinner was cold. We waited for an extremely long time every step of the way. We would not recommend at all.

   Family and I attended drag brunch. Staff was very accommodating. Service was great. Mimosa and food were delicious (especially the home fries). The drag show was so much fun. Fully energetic, wildly funny, and wonderfully inclusive. Will return.

   Chef Adam’s food was exquisite. We had a great service from Kita and bartenders Lando and Chad were very prompt. Highly recommend the tartare and lobster spaghetti. The butternut squash is a must.

   My wife and I really enjoyed our Valentines Day dinner there. The prix fixe menu for that night was excellent. We liked that the live music was not loud. I also liked that the valet parking cost was reasonable, although the hotel's web site gives a different price than what was actually charged. The valet attendant says they have been telling management to have the website updated but the change has not been done. The difference wasn't significant so I didn't mind. But still, the hotel's website should be accurate.

   Food was good, service was excellent. My only complaint is the "Service Charge" for $16 they added to our bottle of wine. So after $17 of tax, our $64 bottle of wine cost $97. If you are adding some random charge to something, put it on the menu, or add it to the price. That's not a minor upcharge, getting close to double the price!

    We had an early brunch in the bar. Bartender was really great, very nice and attentive. The atmosphere, seating and overall vibe is fantastic. Unfortunately, our food was extremely basic. Presentation was lacking and the breakfast potatoes were very obviously frozen, reheated. Scrambled eggs were bland, under seasoned. The bacon was nice and crispy but it was nothing I couldn't have gotten at a hotel continental breakfast. My friend got the chicken tenders and breakfast potatoes and said the same thing about her meal. I will try Commons Club again because the service and staff was top notch, but for cocktails in the evening rather than their food.

    We met friends that were coming from out of town for dinner at the Commons Club because our first choice was booked and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was really welcoming and the staff was friendly. We had a great server and the food was good. It was the perfect spot to catch up with friends and the hotel is absolutely stunning.

    My mom was in town visiting for Christmas. We were looking for a nice place to have Christmas Day dinner. I’ve had really great experiences hanging out on the rooftop with friends for drinks and snacks before, so I was excited to try the dining experience downstairs. Unfortunately, for the $75 preset menus wasn’t worth the price what so ever. I know it’s the holidays and most businesses are short staffed but our drinks took close to 15mins. I looked over at the bar to see what the hold up was and it looked like the bar tender was too busy chatting with the couple of folks sitting at the bar than making drinks while he talked. The place was almost empty when we arrived at 3:30 and wasn’t even half full by the time we left at 5:30. Our server was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed though and apologized for the delay on drinks each round we ordered. Never saw a manager though checking on tables. The food itself wasn’t worth the price. The gnocchi served was wonderful but all of my sides were cold, my mom’s ham was dry and didn’t have much flavor. And the pie for dessert was pretty flavorless and seemed kinda stale like it was pulled from a freezer. I’m not sure if the food being prepared for a special holiday occasion was an afterthought for their team and or there wasn’t enough staff to properly execute the meals served on Christmas; but I was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. I’ve always bragged about anything with the “Virgin” brand name associated with it, but for one special meal out of the year my mom and I wanted to completely indulge in and have the wonderful holiday food coma feels from, we didn’t. I hope this location next year puts a little more thought and effort into serving guests what they paid for especially when gratuity is included.

    Our server Robert made the experience. He was friendly and gave great recommendations. The vibe was chill and not too crowded. The only thing was the food, burger and truffle fries weren't as great as expected and definitely didn't come out hot. Hope to give them another try and see if the food can match the atmosphere and service.

    No hostess stand. When we asked a server where we notify we arrived for our reservation, they didn’t ask our name or reservation time. Just sat us. She seemed bothered and annoyed. She was then our server and every time she came over to us she seemed aloof and uninterested in helping. Food was good. Entree portions very small. Drinks overpriced and not good.

    Commons Club in the Virgin Hotel is a rip off!! Too much money!! We paid for the meal for 2, which was $130. Then we ended up paying another $138, for 4 glasses of wine, and supposedly taxes and handling. What a rip off. They should be ashamed of themselves ripping people off on Thanksgiving. And we had to eat by a homeless person sleeping outside. Do not go there it is a rip off.

    This was a Thanksgiving dinner; we were looking for a restaurant experience because we couldn’t travel to be with family, and were looking to do something easy, and also special, and their website made it seem as though this was to be something gourmet. It was anything but. It was obviously something that had been prepared well ahead of time, and just thrown in the microwave before it was served, because it appeared in about three minutes after we were seated. Bland, below average, boring. For an expensive fixed price meal, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

    We were told that 65.00 fee included sales, tax and service and was even written in fine print yet we were charged an additional 96.00. I ordered 4 mimosas and a special cocktail On menu that was given and I was then charged an additional 118.00 for the drinks. We did not even have time to drink our drinks and our food came out before we even asked for it. Will not be back!

    We had a 1215 reservation on Thanksgiving day. Arrived at 1150 and was seated right away. Food was very good but they have very small portions. We did the prepay for Thanksgiving dinner for 65.00 per person. That did NOT include drinks or a 26.00 service charge or tip. Our server was great and loved the feel of the place. For the price I think it could have been better. Would we go back maybe but only if someone invited us we would not recommend it.

    We had high hopes for this place. The service was sub par, our waiter honestly seemed annoyed by us being his table. The lattes we ordered took about 20 min and arrived cold. The food was ok. Some of it was good but most of it was just meh. Definitely just another overpriced Nashville tourist trap which is sad as someone who grew up here. With all that sad we would go back for just drinks and sit in the bar area. The hotel was gorgeous and the bartender was awesome (when we finished brunch we went over and sat in the lounge area for mimosas).

    Our waitress Kita was amazing, we had the best time celebrating an early birthday. The food variety is absolutely phenomenal and the ambiance is extremely gorgeous and creates a great atmosphere to dine, celebrate and socialize.

    Service was slow, but I don’t think it was due to our server. Seemed like they were likely understaffed. Food was underwhelming. Portions were pretty small and just wasn’t great. Seemed like a good spot for a drink, but I’d look elsewhere for dinner.

    White wine was served warm but our server, Rachel, put it in an ice bucket for awhile and topped our glasses off with a chilled wine. The gnocchi pomodoro was fresh and the iceberg wedge was huge—enough for two!

    The southern fried chicken was wonderful, the ribeye steak was not. Steak was tough and very hard to chew. Songwriters event was interesting but held outside on a chilly night. Sat in bar where both the live performers and the piped in music were loud. Either could have sounded fine. But, both together was not good.

    I absolutely loved my experience at Commons Club. I have to express special appreciation for the service, which was so accommodating and professional. Hospitality at its finest - they really made our day - with their can-do attitude. Next, they have a great bar, in a town with plenty of competition for craft cocktails, especially featuring local whiskeys. Finally, I'd be remiss not to call out one killer dish from the current menu: the tuna poké. It was in a word, perfect. Highly recommended.

    Food was very good! Waiter described portions as large, but the portions were average to small. Waiter was personable and apologized, but very unfocused. Never refilled my water glass until after dinner. Said he would bring a bottle to the table when we sat down. Asked twice for napkins. Again, he was nice and apologetic but had to ask for everything twice!!!

    This is a place you would go for a drink if you’re staying at the hotel, but that’s it. Food was bad and very small portions. Had to go get pizza afterward to fill us up. Pricey for what you’re getting.
