They did not have the menu shown online. This restaurant is also in the hotel lobby with terrible seating. They have also changed the name of this restaurant so it’s diffucult to find. Food was good but they don’t have pancakes or much variety.
Absolutely loved it! Great ambiance, beautiful interior, very friendly staff. And may I say, the mimosas were very good and very generous! Will definitely be back for more!
The ambiance was amazing, the interior was beautiful and worth taking photos of. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food wasn't great, but the coffee was solid. The weekend brunch buffet looks like it's worth checking out, but it's on the pricey side! I'd recommend checking it out at least once if you're in LA.
What a great restaurant! It is located in a greenhouse on the second floor of the LINE hotel. All food items are unique and cater to various dietary preferences (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.). I highly recommend the sweet corn toast, chile rellanjo and the charred carrots. A must when you are in Koreatown!
Great concept but food missed on a few levels. Staff is great all-around. Good ambience.
Service and food were great. Set up was very nice.
The ambiance was beautiful. My server was so considerate and accommodating. I would definitely return!
Warm and friendly , good food .the service from beginning to end was attentive.
The salmon sandwich was perfection. I am craving it! My mouth is watering while I type this!!! Great service and something for everyone on the menu!
This place is so hidden and unique. It's like dining in a greenhouse. It's pretty overpriced, but the atmosphere makes it worth it to me.
Bar manager promised 'drinks on the house' then never returned. Food took a long time to show up. Menu could be reduced a dollar or two on most items.
Loved the brunch. Tray our amazing server gave the best customer service!
We had a fantastic service. Food was awesome!
Great spot for lunch! The plates, napkins, glasses were very cute. A very nice place to hang out with your friends!
We liked the appetizers, heirloom tomatoes, tempura cauliflower and pear salad, more than the main entrees. For us the entrees, fried chicken, rigatoni, and chile relleno were all just too heavily sauced for our palettes. The sea bas was just OK, but we had sea bass the night before at Wolfdown and it was outstanding. The space is beautiful, we liked the feeling, decor and service. We just hardly ate the entrees as we didn’t care for them,...esp the Chile relleno and rigatoni. Those we hardly touched.
Was there for brunch with my gf, food was really great, vibrant vibe and super friendly staff. Wd definitly recommend!
Great place, but so ridiculously loud that you can’t hear the person sitting next to you
Awesome food and service highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere too
Good food, service, great brunch buffet. Disappointed to see continued use of straws and plastic and zero apparent recycling.
The service was good to great. The food was good. I went with fellow vegans so we appreciated the fruit and vegetable options provided in the buffet. The square tables (for two to four people) were crammed together so whenever a person at the table next to us would be getting up, it was easy for them to hit us -- or for someone at our table to not stand up at the same time. It seemed very cramped for the staff waiting on square tables, especially. The staff were kind, seemed happy and managed okay nonetheless. The long tables are great! I liked those a lot. The small square tables are cramped and make it less comfortable when you have no space.
This was my second time at the restaurant, within the month, for the weekend brunch buffet. I feel it was well-priced; I understand most buffets do not specialize in food for vegans. One person at the table did order endless mimosas and commented they were mostly orange juice with little to no champagne. The noise level is high; it is part of the environment. It is a great place for looks but not if you are trying to have an one on one conversation and are not comfortable to talk loudly to allow your party to hear you. Overall, a fun place with yummy food.
The service was absolutely awful, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, to the point of needing to step outside to the lobby to cool down and having to shower when I got back home. The perishable food at the buffet table like the yogurt, ceviche , fresh fruit did not look appetizing because it had been sitting in the hot restaurant. Don't go!
The food was mediocre and basic at best. Everything was uncomfortably spicy for no reason. Underwhelmed and disappointment at every turn. We didn’t even want to stay for a complimentary dessert. This place was a total rip off and a waste of a special evening.
Everything was laced with so much chilli it was hard to get through it. We won’t be returning.
Wonderful sunny atmosphere with lots of light to capture a summer evening in a glass “hothouse”-like setting. Service was excellent. Food is hard to classify—an eclectic mix of items including tempura cauliflower (excellent) and Chile relleno!
This was a huge disappointment and a reminder that not all Instagram-worthy locations are also worthy of your money. Firstly, they don’t have anything gluten free on the menu which is bizzare for LA. Food took forever, was over cooked, bland and missing things, and there was no acknowledgment of the Birthday we were celebrating even though we had noted it with our reservation. Over priced and underwhelming.
They change the menu to a family style and don't mark the price on menu. After 4 really cheap korean dishes it cost u 60 usd per person. Will never come again
Only con I had with the food: Hash browns, undercooked and not seasoned.
Loved coming here since the opening. Will miss it very much!
Had a great breakfast at the Commisary! Waitstaff and hosts all had such a lovely and thoughtful attitude that made you feel comfortable and appreciated. Our server was great with making food suggestions And convinced my hubby to have the popular Breakfast Burrito (which he LOVED!). The decor, music and bright refreshing ambiance completed what was a perfect breakfast date meal.
Not only is the food outstanding, but the location is beautiful. It's a great first date drinks spot. You can sip a cocktail by the pool, and it's not too loud.
Great for business meetings.
PLEASE DON’T LEAVE
Wow! Very impressed with the whole experience. Incredible service and the food was amazing!
The roasted carrots and the Brussels sprouts were delicious, unusual, and fusion of flavors. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, light in batter and flavorful. The rigatoni pasta was less impressive, and heavily doused with Korean spicy paste. If you love that flavor, you’ll like the dish. If you have room, squeeze in the poblano mashed potatoes. Really awesome.
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in LA. The space is so beautiful and the food is always interesting and delicious.
Other ambiance is great. The prices are fair, service was good. It’s a nice breakfast or lunch spot. The main attraction is it is a great IG location. Otherwise, The food was just average; however, the pancakes are rich with buttermilk and this was an unexpected surprise. I would recommend to go for light food fare and enjoy the environment.
I felt a little rushed to order, so I hurriedly ordered a tuna melt. It was very good, but I really wanted to be more adventurous in my ordering. I learned about your place from Coco Jobard, the food stylist for Pierre Herme in Paris. She loved it!
Our group liked what we all ordered, we had an awesome time for one our doctor's despedida party. They even accommodated and seated our group together eventhough we had our reservation for two groups at a time when people are coming out for lunch.
In my opinion, the Line was an overhyped restaurant with really odd choises of flavors.
The staff was outstanding but it’s not a place I’d recommend.
