We went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The food was great, waitress was attentive, and the atmosphere very nice. It's a bit pricey, so be ready for that, but the food is great and we'll definitely go back.

We had an early dinner and everything was perfect. Isabella, our wonderful server, was so accommodating and checked on us regularly. The entire staff was concerned about our needs. We had a relaxing, absolutely delicious early dinner. Get the proscuitto wrapped stuffed chicken breast dinner; it was amazing!

Wonderful meal we had lobster bisque, beet salad, lobster ravioli and porcini mushroom ravioli. Also a complimentary birthday chocolate crème brûlée. Our waiter Gin could not have been better. I highly recommend.

My wife and I had dinner at Commelfo 12 Nov. What a fantastic little place. Our waiter, Gin, was on point. Food was brought to the table in a timely manner, and drinks were filled when getting low, and the food tasted fantastic. My wife and I will be returning to Commelfo on a regular basis.

Commelfo is my favorite restaurant in Destin area. Dine there once and you will know why! Upscale and classy with great service and delicious food and drinks. The best salad and rack of lamb are the best I’ve ever had. A great place to celebrate a birthday as they really make it special - sparkler and dessert!

I can't say enough great things about Commelfo. I am a local and am thrilled that I discovered this little gem just 2 miles from my house. The ambience and staff are so inviting, and the food is amazing along with a great wine selection. They thought of every little detail to set themselves apart... love their wine and water glasses. I love that they take reservations and host events. I just attended their retro party with a group of friends on October 29th, and it was an absolute blast with a rockin' DJ, incredible 5 course menu and lots of fun retro attire with a best dressed award. If you haven't tried them out yet do yourself a favor and make a reservation now!

This is the second time that I’ve dined at this restaurant. I also ate here for my birthday dinner back in September. The ambience is modern chic. The service is good. The food is good. You won’t be disappointed. The reason I gave four stars rather than five is I spent 20 years in food and Bev so I notice things that normal diners don’t notice. at this price point, the food could be stepped up a notch. For instance, the fillet is around $60 and it is served with a huge side of mashed potatoes but only three asparagus spears. Modern diners want a little more vegetable options. I got the steak both times I was there and ordered it medium and both times there was no pink inside, even though the steak was very tender and tasteful but not temped right. I think not only the portion but more so the balance of what’s on the plate misses the mark a bit at this price point. Very limited wine selection and not very diverse. Also, the servers which were the same people I saw both times don’t seem very educated about the wines. I’m making these comments based on other restaurants at this price point.

The absolute best experience. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service and attention to detail couldn't have been better. We loved our food - burrata appetizer, commelfo salad, crab cake, and lobster ravioli. I had noted on the reservation that it was my husband's birthday, and our precious waiter showed up with a sparkler candle and the most delicious chocolate crème brûlée. Then as we were leaving he brought us 2 glasses for one last toast. Highly recommend and will absolutely visit again.

We had the grouper and salmon pasta entrees. Both were excellent. The grouper was cooked to perfection and served over risotto which gave it a buttery consistency. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pasta was fresh and delicious.

The food was very well prepared. Service was friendly and professional. I would suggest putting the blinking open sign in a static on position or possibly behind something as it was a bit obtrusive to the seating area.

Our party enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, wine, entrees, dessert and coffee/cappuccino. The cocktails we started with before ordering appetizers were excellent. One of our favorite appetizers, the tuna tartare, tasted 'off' as if it may be a little old and our waiter gladly exchanged it for a different selection. Two in our party shared a bottle of white wine which was very good. I asked a few questions about the chianti (I was going to order a bottle) and the waiter said he didn't know how it was and didn't offer to find out or pour a taste so I went with individual glasses of a different wine instead. The wine I had was very good. Our entrees were all great as was dessert. The cappuccino was delicious as was the coffee. The interior of the restaurant was very nice--we were skeptical when our driver dropped us off at a strip mall across from a T-Mobile, but we were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. Based on the menu, we thought it might be a little less casual, but several tables of people were wearing shorts, tennis shoes, t-shirts, athletic wear and such. Our entrees were around $50 each and I don't feel the level of service quite matched the price point, thus the 4 stars.

Scallops were so delicious. My husband got the lobster ravioli and it was as well. We also got the he crab cake as a shared appetizer. It was mostly all crab meat and perfect to share. Cocktails were great. Only downfall was the high bourbon behind the bar was not available for purchase.

At first glance I was worried as the restaurant is in a strip mall. But once inside the place is very charming. Th bar area is very well done. Service was very friendly and not overbearing. Food was great and the price was very affordable for a place this nice. Highly recommended.

Dinner here was a pleasant surprise. We arrived at 5:50 for a 6 reservation. There server Isabella quickly approached our table and said they are running a happy hour for buy one drink or entrée get the 2nd half off before 6. So we quickly ordered but let her know that we wanted to space everything out, which she said would be completely fine. Our drinks came out very quickly. Old fashioned with rosemary, and she had the Lavender martini. Both were very tasty and quick since we were the only people in the restaurant. First course we had the beef Carpaccio and a crab cake. Crab cake was on point with hardly any fillers. Very well prepared. The Carpaccio was tasty but nothing extraordinary. Then we split a Caesar salad, which was nice. Dressing was good but not phenomenal. Then we tried the fried ravioli, which was not impressive at all. It literally tasted like something from a chain like Olive Garden. Entrées we had Gnocchi with chicken. That was a tremendous dish. Flavors paired up wonderfully. Also had the blackened Grouper with risotto, and that was amazing as well. I will say the food was good, but they rushed all of it until the entrée course, which was very frustrating. We literally told her not to bring out more food because after they cleared a course, they literally put more food down without even a 5-second break. We would gladly pay full price to have not felt rushed like that as we weren't even looking for a discount. Isabella did get the point and did not bring out the entrées until well after our last course, which was nice. When it was all finished, the service was very good, although rushed at the beginning. The food was very good for the most part. We will return. With tip and a few more drinks for two people, it was $325, so be prepared to pay, or if you are not into trying a lot of different items, you could get out for under $100. It's worth the try for a great newer local spot.

We loved Commelfo! Our waiter Larry was so sweet and gave us great service. The place is super cute, love the interior design of the restaurant and bar. And the food was amazing! We all loved our dishes. Highly recommend getting the homemade croissant. Lattes were good, eggs were perfectly cooked. Just all around 10/10!

I must say, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Everything from the moment we arrived was excellent. Staff and our waiter, (Gin) were very attentive, friendly, and sweet. Food, drinks, decor, music and ambiance…. Exceptional. As a local, how did I not know this was here. I can not wait for any reason to go back.
