   I really wanted to like this place. Lovely menu - what drew me in was the Brie appetizer. Turns out they do not have it, have not got a while, and probably will not. But it’s still on the menu. Next item to anticipate was the lobster bisque - but it never came out, and my disappointment grew. The food was average, ok, not excellent. Pedestrian at best. The place has the potential to be very good, but just falls short on effort.

   A table of ten was handled beautifully! We were the only ones who had previously dined at Commelfo and I feel confident the other 8 will put this restaurant in their rotation.

   Ashell was a great server. The steak was good but the fish was dry and lacked flavor. Wine list was good. Beautiful restaurant. We will return.

   Nutella pancakes and service here are excellent!!!! You can’t go wrong with French toast and chicken and waffles either!! So, so good!! Dara and Ash are sooooo great!!!! So attentive and on top of their game! Hard to find a better brunch spot in town!! C’mon in. You will not regret!!!!

    Went here for my wife’s birthday and we both loved it. The space the restaurant is in is very cool. Staff was friendly, attentive and professional. Food was very well made, looked and tasted great. The blueberry goat cheese on the charcuterie board. So good. Our entrees were wonderful and they surprised us with a birthday dessert at the end.

    Enjoyed a quaint evening out. Meal was well presented. Waitress was delightful and informative. The pricing was within reason for seafood. No extras, just tasteful food.

    Valentine’s Day dinner! Very nice experience all around! Crab cakes were outstanding, my grilled grouper was wonderful also. My husband had the lamb, he enjoyed his meal too. Caramel cheesecake for desert for the ending of a wonderful meal. We will certainly go back and try more dishes .

    This is our 3rd trip to Commelfo and I want to love it but sadly it's just not there. The place is beautiful, the staff excellent (main reason for most stars), and the food is quite good. My issue is each time we go, the portions are quite inappropriate for the cost, and not balanced with other items in the entree. Example, a few months ago we had the diver scallops and quinoa. It arrived (for all three of us) with 3 tiny scallops and a giant (and I mean giant) bowl of quinoa. For $42, not worth it. Last night we went again for Valentine's Day, there were four of us. Three selected the special menu short ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Each dish arrived with a large amount of potatoes and two short ribs with virtually no meat on any of them. We each struggled to find anything but fat. I'm aware that short ribs tend to be fatty, but these 6 had mainly fat and no meat. Again, totally not worth the price. I've lived in many major US cities as well as Europe. The food at this restaurant would rival many places I've dined at, however they need to get it together on their portions. Sadly, we will only visit Commelfo in the future for drinks.

    Had a 6:30 reservation on a quiet Tuesday and they were sold out of the grouper menu item. The scallops were very good; however, only three were served for $42.95 dish. Crab cake appetizer was very good; however, $26.95 for one medium sized crab cake was again overpriced.

    The food was terrible. The squid ink pasta was not black and my burger came with freezer curly fries you could get at a grocery store.

    We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. The restaurant has a genuine European vibe, which is unique in our area, and the food was excellent. Scallops were amazing. Cooked perfectly. You could definitely do a fancy date night here, or a more casual gathering with friends.

    This was my third visit to Commelfo’s and every time has been consistently good. It has a very tastefully done interior and the food is excellent. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Would highly recommend.

    Was there for brunch. Quality of food was good and simplistic. Drinks were great and fun! Apps crab cake was delish full of crab w a good sauce. Coconut shrimp not so great.     The wait staff is fantastic. Great service and great food. It is a very nice restaurant. We thought the tvs didn't need to be there but there is a bar and that typically goes with it. Maybe not play sports, because it takes away from the lovely name of the restaurant. It is bad enough that most people are on their phones, so why have TV? But overall, love the restaurant and the food with great customer service. We will be back for sure. Hubby ordered the gnocchi. He enjoyed it. I took pictures of my tuna tartar and the tiramisu. Both were a simply delight.

    The signature salad was great. I would reorder whenever I’m there. My grouper over risotto was delicious. The seafood pasta was fine. Instead of a seafood sauce it was a broth. Our server and bartender were excellent and answered all of our questions..

    First time at Commelfo and not my last. This place is worth the time and money for what they offer. It is not a fancy place with unusual plates. It is great food at reasonable prices with professional and courteous service. I recommend it and hope I can say the same comments for many years.

    Grouper was pretty good. The Gnocchi was marginal. But what made it awful was the 1 1/2 inch piece of squirreley wire in it. That I had to heave up. Scratched my throat pretty good. The manager apologized and comped the dish off our tab. In hind site they could have comped the rest of our food. I probably should have complained, but instead at the time I just brought it to their attention.
