At first glance I was worried as the restaurant is in a strip mall. But once inside the place is very charming. Th bar area is very well done. Service was very friendly and not overbearing. Food was great and the price was very affordable for a place this nice. Highly recommended.

Dinner here was a pleasant surprise. We arrived at 5:50 for a 6 reservation. There server Isabella quickly approached our table and said they are running a happy hour for buy one drink or entrée get the 2nd half off before 6. So we quickly ordered but let her know that we wanted to space everything out, which she said would be completely fine. Our drinks came out very quickly. Old fashioned with rosemary, and she had the Lavender martini. Both were very tasty and quick since we were the only people in the restaurant. First course we had the beef Carpaccio and a crab cake. Crab cake was on point with hardly any fillers. Very well prepared. The Carpaccio was tasty but nothing extraordinary. Then we split a Caesar salad, which was nice. Dressing was good but not phenomenal. Then we tried the fried ravioli, which was not impressive at all. It literally tasted like something from a chain like Olive Garden. Entrées we had Gnocchi with chicken. That was a tremendous dish. Flavors paired up wonderfully. Also had the blackened Grouper with risotto, and that was amazing as well. I will say the food was good, but they rushed all of it until the entrée course, which was very frustrating. We literally told her not to bring out more food because after they cleared a course, they literally put more food down without even a 5-second break. We would gladly pay full price to have not felt rushed like that as we weren't even looking for a discount. Isabella did get the point and did not bring out the entrées until well after our last course, which was nice. When it was all finished, the service was very good, although rushed at the beginning. The food was very good for the most part. We will return. With tip and a few more drinks for two people, it was $325, so be prepared to pay, or if you are not into trying a lot of different items, you could get out for under $100. It's worth the try for a great newer local spot.

We loved Commelfo! Our waiter Larry was so sweet and gave us great service. The place is super cute, love the interior design of the restaurant and bar. And the food was amazing! We all loved our dishes. Highly recommend getting the homemade croissant. Lattes were good, eggs were perfectly cooked. Just all around 10/10!

I must say, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Everything from the moment we arrived was excellent. Staff and our waiter, (Gin) were very attentive, friendly, and sweet. Food, drinks, decor, music and ambiance…. Exceptional. As a local, how did I not know this was here. I can not wait for any reason to go back. Thank you, for making the evening enjoyable for me and my girlfriends.

We visit Destin every year and this is our second year visiting Comelfo. The first year we stopped by for dinner a few different night because the food and staff were spectacular. Our party ordered the tuna tartar and Truffled Burrata Caprese - both were excellent. For entrees we ordered the rack of lamb and Creamy Smokey Salmon pasta - two other phenomenal dishes. We also had dessert and it did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and the overall ambiance is low key, elegant. We might not have a view of the beach but this restaurant is a hidden gem.

Our waiter Gin was very knowledgeable, courteous and recommended the best dishes . I had beef carpaccio and crab cake as an appetizer all first class . We had a blackened grouper as main course, all exceptional and fresh tiramisu for desert. I’m so impressed will b back tomorrow night

It was our first time at Commelfo Restaurant and it was absolutely outstanding. The food was incredible, cocktails amazing and service was impressively quick. We now have a new favorite restaurant, we only wish we had been there sooner. Do yourself a favor and get there!

Outstanding! We have eaten there for breakfast, lunch & twice for supper over that last week and have loved every meal! Excellent service, loved Gin! Definitely one of our top 3 favorites in an around Sandestin! I wish it was located in Market Shops or Grand Boulevard so I could ride my bike to grab breakfast!! Can’t wait to come back!! ♥️♥️
