My steak was supposed to be a ribeye but I don't think that it was. It also had a hot spice to it, not enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were cold. The wings were to smokey for our taste. The fish and chips was greasy no taste. Tartar sauce came in little packages. They didn't have unsweetened ice tea, how is this even possible. I was very disappointed.
Great all around
Good food with live entertainment. I really enjoyed this place!
Food was good. Quick service and pleasant waitress
We looked at the menu, their specials for Wednesday nights, made reservations and drove an hour to find out they were closed for the night! We were very excited to try this place as most other places in the complex have gone downhill over the years. So we wasted 2 1/2hrs driving there, finding out it was closed and driving back.
Good food. Recommend the giant pretzel! Plenty of great drink choices. Top notch band- KICK!
When we ordered drinks, service was great, once we got our drinks, down hill. Drinks were weak, Food had no flavor, salmon smelt bad, and I requested a birthday shot for my brother who turned 21 and never got it.
Food and service was horrible. Mother in law ordered the steak and the waitress came back with the appetizer platter. She continued to argue with my mother in law trying to convince her she ordered the app platter. When she did receive the steak the mashed potatoes had so much garlic they were inedible and steak was cold. Waitress offered a free glass of wine to make up for poor service which is ridiculous. Could not get in touch with manager. Will never eat here again or recommend.
It was a great experience, food was amazing for Texas style food. Staff was very helpful and friendly
My boyfriend and I went for a date night. Not only was the staff friendly, they were doing everything they could to keep the area clean and enforced COVID guidelines. Great food and drinks and can’t wait to go again
We ordered smoked chicken wings and tenders; both were good. The chicken tenders were a little too big for a finger food and little clumsy to manage.
Wasn’t that busy but still took almost an hour to even get the food and then everyone we needed the waitress she was always gone! And they didn’t anything for my friends birthday
Didn't eat food...so could not actually rate food. Band was great. Dancers not so great. Drinks were good. Jello shots were good. Seating was ok. Waitress was great.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. First time going. We had a great time.
Service wasn’t that good. I waited 10-15 minutes for a refill on my drink. music was loud and enjoyable.
We asked for a booth. They said its reserved for parties of 4 or more ...there were at least 6 booths open ...2 booths had 2 people in them already but we couldn't sit there even though the place was empty ...the whole time we were there noone was put in these booths...they sat us in the table where everyone walks in ..so the whole time when we took off our masks to eat our apps all these people were walking past us and leaving so we asked our waitress to move us and she had to ask the same girls who denied us the both and they moved us to a high top for two even though we told them my husband had a bad back... very very disappointed
Great experience. Andrea was awesome. Everyone was excellent
We went to enjoy a friend's band, Whiskey Boulevard. Enjoyed the atmosphere, except for the "dancing cowgirls" - thought this realled cheapened the establishment. The band, however, was excellent!
had a really good steak at the roadhouse and a couple drinks, them went into the show. john valby was great.. my girlfriend and i go every sat. night to the shows. if u want a great date night get a hotel room at msun, dinner in the roadhouse then the show. WHAT A NITE.......
Clean, get food, great service
Excellent food a little pricey, very friendly staff, we love eating here
Need to expand late night menu, although ‘the limited menu may be the result of covid. Great place, great music and great people. Thankful for live music and a great band - Mike Collins Band!
Service was great! Our server Angelina was amazing!
Terrible experience. Food was ok but management was horrible. Will never go there again.
Great place to eat, very friendly staff, great entertainment! Food was probably the best in the building!
Did not like the food at all . Ribs and pretzel we took to go so we could throw away my platter was discussing and didn’t eat it other then the chicken which the last price tasted raw and my husband food was gross
When we got there the server took a long time to come to our table. My mother-in-law is a picky eater and she just wanted a corn but they said she had to buy a whole entree for it. The drink I ordered was way too strong I could not even stomach it and the next one didn't even seem to have any alcohol in it. Overall it was ok
Atmosphere was fun, service was great and the food was delicious!
Pretzel with cheese for the appetizer and the country fried chicken and marinated sirloin are delicious!!
Chicken wings are the best in Connecticut restaurants. I really recommend them
Nice looking place. Band was great not the one we got tickets for but fun. Wings were good but ribs were fatty and covered up with to much sauce. Chicken fingers good. Hostess was great moved our reserved table To a better table so we can have good access to the stage. Dancers put on a good show. Drinks are good.
Friendly staff, good food. Nice live music. Catch a comedy show afterwards!
Love the atmosphere and the food.
First time there and we enjoyed the food. The smoked wings were out of this world as well as the pork burnt ends. I shouldn't have ordered the fried fish and chips. The batter was very salty, almost like the recipe was a mistake. Otherwise, it was a huge piece of fish so it would have been a good value but it was inedible.
The waitress (wish I would have gotten her name) was awesome. Super friendly. The other ones walking around didn't seem to have her upbeat personality. But hard to say as everyone was wearing masks.
The band was at a good music level. I do like my music on the louder side so I wouldn't have minded it being louder.
I think the drinks were on the expensive side. $14 for a pina colada. I thought it would have been bigger for that price or have some alcohol in it, but I couldn't even taste it.
BUT, all in all, I would def come here again. Those smoked wings were so epic they made the visit worth it.
The server was friendly and prompt.
The menu was limited, many of the options being fried foods. We ordered a half rack of ribs that felt and tasted like they were picked off an Arizona highway by a work crew, after a two week drought, and then covered in sauce.
Victoria is the best waitress. Cant wait to see her and the band on Saturday night. She is always taking excellent care of her customers
Food was terrible and service was barely Mediocre. Will not be returning.
Food was delicious and came out fairly quickly considering how busy it was. Service was prompt and courteous. Would absolutely recommend and will go again.
Varied menu, good food, good service, close to arena
Four of us ate at Comix Roadhouse. Two of us order burgers and two ordered the brisket. The burgers were okay but the brisket was very fatty and not very good. With so many choices to choose from at Mohegan Comix Roadhouse will be moved down to the bottom of our list. Should have stayed with our first choice of Ballo.
Now if you go to Comix Roadhouse around 9pm or 10pm when the bands start playing and the dancers come out, it is a totally different experience. One I highly recommend, get there early to grab a table. Beware, bouncers are a little over the top and think they are working at a NYC night club.
