   I only gave the low “value” rating because the prices are sky high, and I feel they needn’t be. That being said, we would go back there in a heartbeat. The flavors were incredible! Definitely try the octopus appetizer - the tortillas are made with plantains mixed into the cornmeal, and were so delicious. I also had the grilled blue shrimp (cooked perfectly); my husband had the tartella (sp?), the rice dish, and the short rib quesadilla and raves about them all. The excellent food was accompanied by wonderful service, and topped off by the lovely singer quietly accompanying the meal with her beautiful voice. Highly recommend.

   Everything is very nice, try to be there for the sunset to enjoy the view. The prices are quite high, be ready to pay 30 usd for a salad and 50 usd to 200 usd for a main dish.

   We had an incredible dinner during spring break at COMAL. The ambiance, service and food was spectacular. And the stunning sunset didn’t disappoint either. We will be back!

   We came here for the first night of our Honeymoon trip, and everyone on the staff was so friendly and sweet. Beautiful, breathtaking views during sunset. The quesadilla for an appetizer and the chicken for main entre were perfectly made. They also surprised us with a honeymoon dessert. Great atmosphere and ambiance with beautiful details around the restaurant everywhere you look.

   Great reunion at Comal with friends. We enjoyed the Totoaba and Rib eye. And looked forward to the churros for dessert. Beautiful setting. Wished there wasn’t the hotel service charge and that the total tip could go to our excellent waiter. Service was superb!!

   Truly one of the best meals we have ever had! Order the stuffed chicken the second you get there, takes an hour to prep and sooo worth the wait - although it didn’t feel like a wait with the ambiance and appetizers available!

    Uno de los mejores lugares donde he desayunado. Buen diseño, buen ambiente, excelente servicio, comida rica! Solo mejoraría una cosa, los precios. Los encuentro fuera de realidad. Un excelente lugar!!

    It was Valentines night for a romantic dinner. They had a prix fixe menu. I chose the Kurobuto pork dish. It came out very pink, warm - not hot and could not be cut with the knife they gave me. Overall it just was a bad experience for a very expensive dinner.

    Epic all around experience. There are few places they give such an amazing and complete experience. Jerry at the bar is a true mezcalier…equal parts passion and knowledge. Outstanding!

    Fantastic meal all around. Apps, short rib doraditos, the mussels and pineapple fish were all ridiculously good. As were the cocktails. Service was spot on as well.

    My wife and I travel extensively and we love wonderful restaurants . However , Comal disappointed. The location , setting and feel of this ocean front restaurant is wonderful. Service was not inviting . Food is expensive but that is ok if wonderful. My mussels were not hot and half of the shells were not opened. The restaurant did correct with no charge but seemed indifferent. This seemed to ruin the evening. Leaving the restaurant the parking attendant initially could not find our car . Was not a wonderful experience.

    We were a table of 7, we all live in Cabo full time. Last time I went to Comal, service was terrible. I am sorry to say that it hasn’t improved much. Our waiter, Orlando, was too busy to be bothered with any questions. He was all about the “upsell”. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

    Great special occasion place. Beautiful views and great staff. Little issue with bartender but they corrected our drink immediately. For price point you get what you pay for and it is worth it. Great oysters and fun small plates. Comal grill is a great mixed grill entree to share. Singer was a bit flat but that is a minor thing. A great place where we take first timers down to visit.

    Food and service were impeccable. Our server Luis had wonderful suggestions. The W salad was so fresh, short rib tacos to die for. Chocolate tart was sublime.

    Festejamos el cumpleaños de una amiga de mi esposa y el lugar cumplió con las expectativas, la recepción, diseño, limpieza, detalles en la decoración, loza son muy destacables sin embargo; el servicio fue lo mejor, nos atendió el Mesero Nelson y fue de un nivel ultra lujo perfectamente acordé a la marca Chileno bay. Los precios han subido bastante, está fue mi segunda visita y si hubo una gran diferencia pero lo vale cuando es una ocasión especial.

    Just getting to the restaurant at night is so delightfully cloak and dagger and exclusive, you realize that you are on to something pretty special. Everyone is so attentive and friendly; from valet to the restaurant. The view and ambiance are thoughtful and esthetically pleasing. Service is as you'd expect for the cost. It's not going to be an inexpensive meal, but for a special occasion, it's certainly worth it. And make sure you're really hungry when you get there...the appetizers are a full meal.

    Excellent place, our favourite but Prices have increased 30% in the last year. For locals it is vecoming very expensive and discount is only 15% when ut eas 20%. Should take care of your local people! Regards
