It was lovely, but I asked for a couple of modifications on my meal And I didn’t get them. Otherwise, everything was nice. Thank you for the complementary birthday dessert.
Had a party of 9 for Birthday. Food was awesome. Service spectacular
Food was good, nice date night.
food is always great quality and as always, service is excellent.
I have been to this restaurant before and I really enjoyed it . But this time was totally different. Salmon and shrimp was over cooked the jambalaya was just ok and the food portions seemed smaller . I honestly can’t even remember the rest of food on plate . The quality of the food was poor and the plate looked unappetizing. I mentioned it to a co-worker and she said someone told her they had the same experience. I am not sure if l will return.
The food was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere was quiet.
Spectacular food and service for a reasonable price!
Great server and management!
Everyone was very accommodating and friendly
It was Valentine’s Day and the service was very poor. We had a late reservation (8:45) but You would expect a restaurant this nice would have superb staff. Was not impressed.
Our waiter, on Valentine's Day, took our order then preceeded to 'cater' to the other tables. we sat for quite a bit with only water on our table. WeO stopped another waitress to ask if we could get some bread for our table. She immediately got it for us. Our waiter did bring our drinks, and dinner.....but we saw more of the back of him than his front....because he spent alot of time asking all the other tables he had if their meal was good.. or that he was gonna bring them fresh warm bread when it becomes ready. After dinner, my husband pulled waiter aside and told him that our money spends just like anyone elses. We did tip, but it was less 10% because of the service....we normally give more than 20%.
The dining area was cramped and the entree portions were small. Will not return nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. Brandon, our waiter, was very attentive which made our dining experience somewhat more pleasant.
Service was poor. Server was absent most of the evening and did not bring a drink ordered as food arrived until meal was over. Manager comped drink but server still was non connected. Based on this visit we would not recommend Fish Market.
We went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We waited at least 30 min to place our order and then a little over an hour to get our main course, and when it arrived my husband’s food was lukewarm at best, and my Dad’s fish was on the dry side. They did heat up my husband’s food to his satisfaction and even took it off the bill, but it was very disappointing. We were there for a total of 2 & 1/2 hours which was crazy. In the end we had to flag down our waitress, who was extremely pleasant & trying her best, to please speed things up because we were all ready to go home. I don’t see us visiting this restaurant again anytime soon.
Food is overpriced, service and staff were excellent. Out seat next to the door was pretty cold and my wife had to wear her coat half the time we were there.
Had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Lobster bisque was outstanding!
We have visited many times. Great meal, great service, never disappoints! Carrot cake is the best!
The server was good but not engaging, almost dry. Didn't ask why we were there so he never knew it was my mom's birthday to make the experience better.
The lobster salad was really good. One of the best seafood salads I have ever had
Fantastic as always....great food and great service!
The grilled oysters were unbelievable! It was my girlfriends birthday and I'm glad we went!
Delicious family dinner. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the hollandaise sauce. It was a little too lemony for me and tasted like it had horseradish in it. I wasn't a fan but my husband liked it. The rest of the meal was absolutely outstanding.
My husband and I eat there on occasions. We've always had a wonderful experience the food is very tasty and our server has always been Pleasant
We usually get good service and this time we went for our anniversary , but didn't get our usual rose, card and dessert. Also, our waiter didn't remember anything-we had to ask for our water twice(and still never got my lemon), we had to ask for our bread and refills on our drinks. We were disappointed in our service and how small the Sharkfin pie was, but our food was wonderful.
Restaurant week in Columbus and it was not the Fish Market's finest hour. Although I had Open Table Reservations, I waited more than 30 minutes beyond my initial resrvation, although being there on time. I over heard someone being seated with a 7:30 reservation, who was eated when he asked. I then pointed out that I had a 7:15 reservation and was then immediately seated. I just could not figure out the rhyme or reason for how they were managignthe flow. Restaurant week offerings were reasonably priced and quite good.
We have been to Columbus Fish Market in the past, but this was the worst experience we have had there. I made a reservation for 5 and I arrived before the rest of my party. I was seated in the Captains Quarters, small room for private parties. The table and chairs in this section were plastic, stackable chairs and the other table was set for a large group that had not arrived. My family was late arriving, and I waited at our table (I was early and seated early) for over 20 minutes. During the 20 minutes, the waiter did not once enter the room. About 5 minutes before the rest of my party arrived, the other table was beginning to be sat, as they arrives, and there waiter greeted them and took drink orders right away, as they waited for their party to arrive.
Once my family arrived and was seated, the waiter took our drink and appetizer order. Our appetizer came out about 20 minutes after ordering, and we had not seen our waiter since he took our initial order Our drinks and appetizer were brought by someone else.
Once our appetizer was almost gone, the waiter came in, took our dinner orders and we did not see him again until our meal was finished and he checked on desert orders.
Our dinners were brought out 1 or 2 at a time with 5 minutes passing between my son's plate arriving (first) and any other dinner being brought to the table. I had the paella and nowhere on the menu did it mention that the dish included diced cucumber (absolutely hate cucumber). My son's parmesan chicken was ok, but the pasta was overcooked and did not include any sauce.
The other party in the room where quite loud, and it was nearly impossible for my family to hold a conversation. I understand that it is not the restaurants fault that the guests were quite lively, but seating 2 separate parties in such a small room is probably a recipe for a less than pleasant environment for the smaller party.
Overall, it was not a experience that I would expect at a restaurant of this level.
Food was below average for the price of this restaurant. My wife’s fish had zero flavor. Her potatoes were cold and not even cooked fully. My salmon was cooked to the point of leather. We won’t be going back.
Our dinner was just ok. Unfortunately our service wasn’t fabulous, which I expect to be outstanding, given it is a Cameron Michelle restaurant. We waited awhile for our server to arrive initially and waited for service throughout our dinner. At one point, I had no knife and waited for our service to stop by after our dinner was delivered. He didn’t, so I had to get knives off the table behind us. Our food did make up for the poor service, dessert was on the mark. I really hate bad service, especially when our drinks were no work for the waiter (we got a bottle of wine).
Happened to be restaurant week! The entire experience was awesome!
Great service and food, sorry but don’t have time to add much more.
