Very disappointed in the service and quality of food this visit. We were celebrating a birthday and were never asked. Waitress never checked in after our food was delivered. We had to ask for bread for the table and for water refills. The whole experience was very disappointing.

Food was good, service exceptional. "Meh" for ambiance, but overall a solid experience. Delicious cocktails and amazing dessert.

It was our anniversary and we were joined by out of town friends who also loved it. I had the spring halibut and it was excellent.

It was just okay. They did print a special birthday menu which was a nice surprise, but I was a little underwhelmed.

The service was average, as was the food.
Expected much better on both, considering the pricey menu.
I had the fish and chips. Fish was under cooked and both the fish and chips were barely warm.
My husband had the Tilapia. He asked for it blackened and got a barely warm fish that had some blackening seasoning on it.
It was for my birthday and would honestly have preferred Smokey Bones.

Service was slow. The food was only so-so. The prices on the wines were a little steep. Good ambiance. I just wish the food was as good as the price indicated.

Service was not good. Bread and wine arrived when salad was almost eaten and only after several efforts to get them. Went to front desk to get bread delivered. Hostess said she would take care of it, but she did not bring bread to us. She may have gone to the wrong table. When waiter finally appeared, he said the bread was being baked, but we saw several tables served by others getting their bread while we waited. Just tell us if you made a mistake; don't try to make excuses.

Would never eat at this restaurant again. My daughter found a hair in the salad and the manager didn’t seem concerned at all. I can’t say it’s a raciest restaurant but as a minority, I felt very unwelcomed.

While our meal was not bad, the experience was disappointing overall. Checking in on time for our reservation, we were handed a buzzer and waited 15 minutes for a table. It then took a while for our server to get to us. Appetizers arrived fairly quickly, and the oysters were good. When food was served, one person in our party got his cup of lobster bisque and another was told that his would be out in a minute. The server then reappeared and said it would be a few more minutes. When she came out a third time, she said the kitchen was making more bisque (Really? On a Friday night?) and suggested something else should be ordered instead. The substituted clam chowder arrived luke warm. When it came time for checks, the server kindly asked how we would like the bill divided up -- and then proceeded to give us wrong checks. Unfortunately, Columbus Fish Market continues to charge a premium price for what is no longer a premium restaurant.

45 minutes wait with reservation, resulting in irritated business partners. Attempt to recover by free appetizer didn't make up for that. It's not bad, but not good enough jeopardizing an important meal.

A meal here with friends on Friday evening. The place was packed and the food was excellent. Special comment on the quality of the service by the wait staff - Claudia was just terrific - took time to clearly understand our friend's special dietary needs and offer suggestions & alternatives, while also making sure we got out on time to make our show. Appreciate her effort.

We've always liked this restaurant (and were big fans of the Crosswoods Fish Market), so I'm sorry to say I was a little disappointed with our last experience. I'd say overall, the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has gone down. I paid $8 for a smallish caesar salad with 5 croutons. Really? And $31 for the entree, which was a combo of almost overcooked salmon, definitely overcooked shrimp and a good crab cake. With a $10 glass of wine, it was not an inexpensive dinner. I don't mind paying for quality, but I hope the Fish Market will up it's game a bit.

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on the night we visited. We have been to the Fish Market several times prior to Cameron Mitchell buying them, and the food and drinks were always very nice.

At our anniversary dinner, my wife's Old Fashioned came with a crushed cherry, presumably crushed for its juice. Our vegetable side dishes were mainly the compost-worthy parts of broccoli and zucchini - the woody bottom and the peels. Our main meat dishes were tolerable, but my blackened salmon was unlike what I remember prior to the buyout - more just seasoned and broiled, not seared very well. Good enough, but not worth $25 a plate.

I can't imagine going back.

Appetizer of Jumbo Shrimp was hardly jumbo. 5 medium shrimp for $15.
Goat cheese salad was delicious as was the gumbo.
Trio main dish has a bland crab cake, a skewer of small, over cooked shrimp with most of the shell still on, and a cut of dry salmon. Fish and chips had nicely cooked fish but the breading has a soggy layer between outside and fish. Chips were extremely disappointing French fries that were cold and limp.
Server was unfamiliar with menu and was slow at returning to table.

Our salmon was raw and not warm. My sister and I ordered the cedar plank salmon. We also ordered crab cakes and calamari as an appetizer. I had 2 other guest that were present. One ordered a filet, which she enjoyed and the other person ordered flounder.
After leaving the restaurant, within an hour, Everyone was sick except for my friend that ordered the filet and she didn’t eat any of the seafood.

Service was good. Just disappointed with the quality of the food. I forced myself to eat my meal. I am sorry that I did, due to how sick we were all. I will not return and neither will my guests.

This is one of my usual "goto" choices for an excellent business dinner. I can always count on excellent service and food. I do recommend FishMarket to friends often. The restaurant is rarely noisy, and the fish is fresh. Chef's preparations are changed -- but the old faithful options remain on the menu.

First, when one dines early & the restaurant is mostly empty, explain to me why the 3 or 4 occupied tables have to be in a tight cluster where we can all hear each other’s conversations and the wait staff is knocking into one table while waiting on another. All throughout the meal, I just kept thinking something was off. My main course was about room temperature vs hot or even warm. Then when I took my first bite of shrimp, it was, well, fishy. My fellow diners complained their blackened salmon was too salty. Even for as far away as I was sitting (large round table), I could smell the salt from across the table. I was completely perplexed until I learned that CFM was sold & is no longer a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. It shows. Our dinner was far too expensive & disappointing based on previous expectations.

We went to the Fish Market to celebrate a birthday. Our server was excellent and the food was, as always, very good. One of got the rice bowl with shrimp, clams and mussels - excellent. Other got the scallops - also very good, but not as tender as expected.

Free dessert for the birthday! Yum.

I made a reservation for 7:15. We arrived 10 minutes early. We were seated 7:35 PM. At 7:45 PM we still had not been approached by a server. I flagged down a young lady who kept passing us to help other tables. She apologized and said another young man was supposed to be serving us. Apparently he thought she was helping us because he saw a glass of wine on the table that I had purchased from the bar. It went downhill from there. We were treated like the table nobody wanted. Write down to the end when we asked for a box. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes for the bill. The other young lady brought me a box and a complimentary dessert and she got the manager to adjust our bill.

The food was delicious and the service was great. However, the restaurant has too many tables packed into the room where we were dining. They sat us at a 4-top table in the room to the back right of the restaurant, but were were in the back corner and there were so many tables packed tightly around us, our waiter had trouble getting to us to serve us our food, and it was awkward trying to turn around to talk to him to place orders or request anything when he came by. Furthermore, I am currently recovering from surgery on my arm and the tables were so close I was worried I would be jostled by my fellow diners. The ambiance would be much better if some of the tables were spaced further apart to allow for more privacy and a better service experience.
