Columbus Fish Market - Grandview

Enjoyed our lunch but the restaurant was cold. Not much more to say.
Server she was very nice!
There were 4 of us, celebrating 2 Birthdays. We started out with the Crab-Spinach dip as an appetizer. It was delicious. For the main entrees: 2 of us had the Dynamic Duo. The BBQ Bacon-wrapped Shrimp was excellent. The stuffed Lobster Tails were good in general. The stuffing was bland and could have used additional spices to make it more flavorful. The Blackened-Scallops were excellent. The Market Trio was good, again, lacking some flavor. For dessert, we really wanted the carrot cake, but they were "out of this dessert." We had the cheesecake instead which was very good.
Our server was attentive, but seemed very anxious and trying to rush us in the beginning. Not sure why, it was a Monday evening and the restaurant was not busy.
Had a great dinner with friends. Salmon was delicious.
A group of four friends to celebrate a birthday. Great food, service and friends made for a fun experience.
Amazing Meals We All Had
Not crowded but initial greet and introduction took a long time. However, food was excellent and follow up service was good.
We miss the one that closed on the north side so made the trek to this location. Was very pleased, everything was great!
Service was very slow and the restaurant was not crowded. Quality of the food was not good. Will not be going back
Good time. Good serve.. charbroiled oysters have been removed from menu but ask and may be available..
Everything was amazing, they remembered that it was my girlfriends birthday and left a little note on the menu
The Fish Market used to be our go to place for special occasions. Not anymore. The food is terrible. My lobster tail was so salty I could barely eat eat it. My wife has a dairy allergy and after all that was explained to our server, her dish was brought out with a pile of butter on top of her meal. Had to send that back and while that was happening my meal got cold. Very surprised that for a "high end" restaurant, your menu can't be modified more easily for people with dietary restrictions. Very disappointing. We may never come back.
Great service on Friday night. The crab cake and shrimp dinner was wonderful.
Came there for an early dinner only to find that 4 seafood items/dishes were out. How does a seafood restaurant run out of seafood? The Shanghai sampler has good scallops and salmon but the sticky rice was drowning in soy sauce. The fishermans fry had one scallop. Service was slow. Not the experience we regularly have.
Always a favorite. Has a great environment and is even mostly kid friendly (if you need it). Food is great - menu has been updated since our last time in.
Food was delicious. I had an app, bowl of soup and the salmon and all was great.
Shrimp cocktail was perfectly chilled. Crab and shrimp combo very tasty.
We enjoyed our dinner -- everything was great. I can't think of one negative thing to say.
I truly enjoy Columbus Fish Market and have been there many times. However, this was the one time I tried getting the hamburger. Well, it was not good. The burger was dry and over cooked - it didn't even taste like beef. When I mentioned it to my sister, she said, "Well, you are at the Fish Market. Obviously, they don't do anything else well." I guess that could be the case, but I still expect a hamburger to be good.
So my advice - stick with the seafood!
We had a lovely time - we had small kids with us and the server was very attentive and patient. We really appreciated your genuine hospitality
Great experience incredible service and great Chilean sea bass Shanghai style! Definitely worth a visit
Since you asked, The fish dish was sub-par! It was dried out; probably waiting fro the steak under the lights. My wife didn't mention until after, but if it was mine, I would have sent it back. So, you see, this colored everything for us.
Friendly wait staff. Great atmosphere for casual dining. Seafood was all over cooked and the rice was crunchy. Our entrees were a big disappointment.
Food was mediocre. More like a chain. Won’t come back.
I had a really good time there. I surprised my husband by going to this place on our weekend date. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend!
The food is always delicious, however our server was rather inattentive when it came to drink refills and checking in to see how things were.
It's been a long time since we've been to CFM. This is the last time. Food was just ok and very overpriced. Used to be great.
1. The trout and crab cakes was good.
2. The wine was marked up higher than normal, we had the Kendall Jackson Chardonnay.
3. The service started out good and then the waitress and service disappeared. The person bringing the
main dish gave us attention. The waitress came over after our dinner was almost finished.
4. We have been there many times in the past and the service has diminished
5. My husband's BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION was unrecognized and we were NEVER offered a dessert or a
drink menu. My husband always gets a port wine.
6. The staff did not thank us or invited us back. We WILL comply!
Food was really good, but the lobster tails were a over cooked and there was a bad smell when entering the restaurant.
Everything was delicious! They even made menus wishing the bday boy happy birthday.
After not having the best experience the last time we ate at CFM, we decided to try again. We've had great experiences in the past. The most recent visit put the restaurant back in great standing with us. Our server (Wright) was wonderful! She was extremely attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything about our experience. The food was absolutely fantastic! The lobster and shrimp stuffed cod and almond crusted trout in particular were delicious. Thank you for continuing to be an A+ restaurant!
We loved every single dish we ate; It is rare when that happens!! This is definitely among the top 3 places to eat!! It has been a while since we ate something so delicious that we wanted to come back the next day (or not even leave)!
Decided to try The Fish Market prior to going to a concert. Honestly the quality of food was terrible, we could have ate at a diner for a third of the cost and got better food. This place is no longer a desirable restaurant and a complete dumpster fire.
My birthday dinner was amazing! The fish market was wonderful - again!
We were visiting from out of town. We really enjoyed the oysters and Caesar salad. The salad had a hint of garlic and the tang of lemon along with being creamy and fresh.
Delicious seafood came to our table piping hot! The quality and presentation was excellent. Our server was less than enthused; didn’t offer water or bread, didn’t refill our water or offer a dessert menu. If it wasn’t for his lackluster service, our review would be higher.
The food was very good but I was expecting more pairings than what was served. A lot of good main courses with bland sides to compliment them. And for that reason I found it to be a little bit overpriced. Still a great place though. Great drink list, amazing wine selection and fresh fish that you cant find at most restaurants.
We love . Have been many times and the experience has always been outstanding. The oysters were fantastic.
$4.50 for half ice tea and half lemonade with no free refill is ridiculous.
