   I like to dine here monthly and bring a new friend each time. They're hooked instantly and I usually then run into them during my next visit back with other friends. This place is warm, friendly with an absolutely amazing menu that you couldn't go wrong with even if you just closed your eyes and pointed. And la picosas all around :)

   Rib eye is to die for. Suckling pig was exellent. Sweet potato salad was our favorite too. Nothing to complain about, just a great quaint place. Will come for rib eye.

   Made a reservation for dinner after a 7pm movie at BAM. Walked through the cold rain for ten minutes with friends to Colonia Verde. We had a reservation for dinner confirmed for four people. When we arrived, the restaurant was open but not serving food. Why take reservations then? Ugh. They directed us up the street to Brooklyn Pub, where we enjoyed some delicious bar food and probably saved a few bucks.

   Amazing food. Nice atmosphere. Easy to get a table if you arrive earlier, around 7- 7 30.

   Great overall vibe. Menu is small (which is great). Wasn't clear what exactly the cuisine influences were but it was tasty. Had the Brussel sprout warm salad app and the bf and I shared a pasta bolognese and grilled baby eggplant. Very tasty but nothing like I write home about. Great for a chill catch up date with a good friend or low-key date. If I went back, I would want to try the back room with glass ceilings - felt like a green house. Must get the tres leches carrot cake for dessert.

   We changed our reservation a bunch of times and they worked with us very nicely to provide a wonderful brunch experience for a large group with kids! Food was delish as always, something for everyone and the drinks go down so smoothy.

   Our group of five took over a corner table in the back glassed in section overlooking the back patio. It is very charming and cozy. We practically ordered everything on the brunch menu. The animal bloody marys were delicious as were the brussels sprouts caesar with poached egg, tortilla chips with coffee rubbed pulled pork, surf and turf, shrimp tacos and don't miss the cinnamon dounuts with chocolate dipping sauce for desert! We loved this place, had the best service and time and can't wait to return to try dinner!

   We were a large group and almost tasted the entire menu, and one dish was better that the previous. It was an amazing experience! the patio is adorable, very cozy and the service was great. My favorites were:Fluke Ceviche, Brussels Sprout Cesar Salad, tomate and watermelon salad (was out of this world), duck Confit Tacos, Poblano Pepper fetuchinni, also the Lomo al Trapo is to die for (highly recommended). And please try the Gringos Churros and the Coconut yuca cake. Just writing this and my mouth is watering!
