Family owned experience cafe in Samford Village, just 30 minutes from Brisbane serving all day breakfast, burgers, coffee and cold drinks with a side of puppy cuddles.

Owners Matt and Madeline have been pedigree Border Collie breeders and exhibitors for the better half of a decade and have incorporated their love of dogs and their puppy socialisation protocols into Collies and Co.

Guests are welcome to enter the puppy yard, cuddle and play with the puppies as well as ask questions, learn about the breed, training, socialisation, nutrition and more from trained animal attendants. and vet nurses.

Our outdoor dining setting is very dog friendly and we welcome guests to bring their own dogs and treat them to something from “Collies Kitchen”

Family recipes used for many condiments, seasonings and dishes including the Krispy chicken spices, BBQ Texas slow cooked pulled pork and housemade tomato relish. Special designed dog menu includes items such as L’Barkery Puppicino Iced Mocha and Hugo’s Ice Cream, both Brisbane based companies that specialise in creating nutritionally correct fun treats for dogs.

Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful. Puppo’s were just adorable!! Great food, good size portions as well.

Staff were wonderful at accommodating food allergy requirements. Very flexible. When we arrived it started raining, so we had to wait 45 mins before we could order!

The puppies were gorgeous but the food was not nice at all. We had the platter for two and the brisket smelled bad, the pulled pork had no salt at all and the ribs were super dry and obviously from a few days before. Wouldn’t go there for lunch again, only for coffee to see the puppies

Had a great meal and the grandchildren just loved the interaction with the puppies, even in the rain. Would highly recommend for something a little different.

A lovely cafe. We loved playing with the puppies. We went for my daughters birthday with 2 of her friends and the girls all had the best day.

The food was great. Unfortunately we had to inhale it and didn't get to enjoy it the way we would have if it didn't arrive 10mins before our Puppy cuddle experience. The Puppies are gorgeous. Maybe less people at each session so everyone gets a turn at having a cuddle. Was still a lovely experience though.

We had a lovely morning at Collies and Co. The food was very yummy and came out very fast. There were unfortunately a lot of flies. The kids loved the puppy play time and it's a great reason to visit the cafe. We will be back
