   Not sure if our order was submitted when we placed it. Had to ask the bar staff to check on it for us. Comped us a glass of wine for the delay. It was our first time, we will be back though! Suki & Star were great!!

   It was just ok. We were excited to try Colletta for the first time. Hostesses were super friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. We were there on a Sunday so brunch was offered but not a lot of lunch items to select from. Prices were pretty high for the mediocre tasting food. The worst part was the service. SLOW!!!! We were there for over 2 hours and most of the time waiting for the server to take our order and then waiting for our food. I don’t plan on returning any time soon if ever.

   Everything was delicious, from the drinks, appetizers to the entrees. We ordered the pastry platter as a dessert & enjoyed it as well. Cannot wait to return!

   Overall the food (what we could choose from) and the ambience was good but the service was super slow and the staff seemed disinterested. First off this restaurant has several restrictions on open table reservations that require you to contact the restaurant directly to make any modifications. Upon trying to reach them several times during their operational hours we were unsuccessful. When we reached we stood by the maitre’d stand for several minutes till we were helped. The server took our orders and came back to say per the chef they can’t make one of the pasta dishes on the menu we had ordered. When we asked why he said they didn’t have that pasta. We said can you make it with another similar pasta substitute he said maybe but it won’t be ready until dinner. We were there for lunch. Pasta takes 12 minutes to cook. He was hesitant to go back to check with the chef. For an Italian restaurant they only had 3 pasta dishes on the menu and out of which one option was out because the staff seemed disinterested in making it without giving us any logical explanation. During the rest of the time no one came to check on us except towards the very end to get boxes and our check. We did tip the standard gratuity but probably won’t be back.

   Server was not very friendly as soon as we sat down. It was our anniversary dinner and we had a show to get to in town after. We ordered our food as server was filling our waters and food still didn’t come out for almost an hour after. Drinks were equally slow and server did not seem the least concerned about us being on time or the delay. Not the way you want to kick off a celebratory evening.

    We were so excited to try Colletta. Made a reservation in advance, and waited 15 minutes. Which honestly was ok. But when they sat us, our table was located in a bad spot for a group (we had 9) Restaurant was very nice, and menu looked amazing. Service started off great but then took a downward spiral. Our server didn't bother to accurately explain some of the dishes we were asking about (and maybe he didn't know, but he could have just said that) and since it was our first time, that would have been helpful. Some of what we ordered was not at all what we were told or expected, other items we ordered never came and our server didn't seem to care. And because they packed our group in a really inconvenient place, we kept getting bumped by everyone walking by. Had really high hopes but just wasn't the night out we had hoped for. I'm sure it's a great place and having read the reviews before I booked, really thought it would have been a more pleasant experience. But I am sympathetic to all restaurants have an off night.
