We started with the Prosciutto di Parma which was excellent. Two of the four ordered the Lasagna which is the best ever - highly recommended, but the portions are large! Also recommend the Farfalle and Chicken Parm
Service was excellent -- friendly and knowledgeable staff. Most of the food is OVERPRICED.
Perfect -- great experience
Great food, very authentic. Service was excellent. Will return
Second time dining at this restaurant. Food and service very good both times. This time we sat in the back room (only 4 tables) which was a big improvement over main dining area if you want to have conversation without a lot of noise.
Very good food, the prosciutto appetizer and the lasagna were very tasty.
Server was EXCELLENT!
This place exceeded my expectations. Great Food & Amazing Staff!!! Thanks for making my daughters 18th & moms birthday SPECIAL!
Great food, good service. Only suggestion I would make would be to find a way to create more privacy for each table. Our table for 2 was situated about 2’ from other tables of 2 on either side and we felt like both tables could hear everything we said and were practically eating the food we ordered with their eyes. In other words the tables are right on top of each other. It was also quite noisy so between not trying to scream and not involving your neighboring table in your conversation it was difficult. Despite that food and service were very good!
The food at Colleta is always first class and the service is right there too!!!
service was very good we were 4 for dinner - the food was very salty
Great Food & very creative Italian themed menu options. Eevrything tates wonderful! Gotta try the Family style let Chef choose for you. Ask for Earl to be your waiter & you're in for an awesome fun evening with impecible service that really friendly & attentive
Reservation time was not honored. Waited about 20 minutes for a table. When we were escorted to our table they tried to seat us at a tiny two top when there was two 4 tops adjacent that were empty. After making us wait and then offering us a tiny table I’m less than impressed.
The server was not that great. We were there to celebrate birthday for my twins. I put in the res that it was a Birthday celebration, but we didn’t get the candle until the dessert was almost gone. I just didn’t feel special and my Kids didn’t either
After going to Colletta before I expected at top notch meal. The app & salad courses were not very good. Beer I ordered was flat. Fish entree was good & really only good food part of meal. I will likely give them 1 more chance, but was very very disappointed
Tagliatetta(carbonara) was great. Service was fantastic.
We met friends here and it was a first for all of us. We all left happy. We all orders different pastas- they were all amazing. Our waiter was great too, even brought us an app on the house. We will definitely be back!!!
Good spot and easy to get in for lunch. Dinner always crowded. Great service and a big bar area. One of the few restaurants that will take an open table reservation in Avalon. Very easy to walk around Avalon while you’re waiting on a table if necessary.
We had previously tried to dine at Colletta but there was always a long wait. I was thrilled to see it on OpenTable, so we made a reservation and finally got to try it out. Food was very good, and our server was attentive. The manager was a little over-attentive, swinging by to offer us bread that we'd already ordered (and which was on it's way), and swooping in to clear plates as soon as we put our forks down.
Kelan was absolutely fantastic! We’ve had him before and he remembered what I like as well as my brother. My parents were with us and the food was exceptional!
Waited too long for our food. Fish had no taste. Very bland
We were seated at the worst table in the restaurant and when we asked to be moved, the hostess lied to us and said they had no other tables for parties of four. Over the course of dinner, we watched as two parties of for got seated at the tables we asked to be moved to. Colletta lost or future business.
Wonderful meal from Chef Jason. Everything from walking in, to walking out was exceptional. We will defiantly be back.
Went here for a random date night because we heard good things and the night started out great but fizzles at the end. Ambiance is great, cheese plate and bread awesome but our waiter was a little pushy and didn’t check on us as the night got busier so we waited for our food a little too long. Pasta was cooked perfectly but didn’t have a lot of flavor! Will give Colleta one more try but hesitantly!
Food was great! Server was awful!! She didn’t listen to anyone. She then dropped a plate with red sauce all over a patrons pant leg and left. She didn’t help him out. Finally the hostess came over then maybe a manager. The waitress was very inexperienced for this type of restaurant.
Everything about this place is amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the staff were incredible, Camila our server was great. A delightful experience.
We had a great bartender that recommended the lasagna that turned out to be the best lasagna I have ever had. Can't wait to go back and have it again.
We had reservations for 7pm and had to wait 15 min. for our table.
The food is okay. I will say that their home made vanilla soda is wonderful. Tastes more like a cream soda than vanilla as advertised. Overall, I think we could have made comparable pasta dishes at home with no hiccups. The bread that comes before your meal is hard as a rock. Would have been nice to have a softer bread for dipping in the oil and balsamic mixture. Our server was Phillip and he was pretty chill so that helped.
PS The sister restaurant next door (Oak) is hands down 100% better.
Great food, wonderful staff
Very nice restaurant in a great area. Food was outstanding.
Always a great experience and a reminder that if you are OTP North, there is no reason to look for a great meal in the big city. Jeff, the manager keeps everything running on time and his staff is always attentive and nice. Will be dining there again, sooner the better.
Service slow, very slow. 2 1/2 hours for a casual meal.
When dessert arrived no silverware. After waiting for over 5 minutes for someone to bring spoons I approached an employee and asked for spoons. Few minutes later server shows up with forks. Said ran out to of spoons and had to wash forks to give to our table. First time experience eating gelato with a fork!
We were delighted by the staff, the food, the wine recommendations, the desserts! I asked the table for a moment of silence while I enjoyed the grouper with English pea purée, farro, and shiitake mushrooms. Absolutely wonderful experience.
Excellent service and food. It was a birthday celebration and we received a beautiful complimentary platter with happy birthday written in chocolate and contained 2 desserts. One of the nicest celebration desserts I have ever seen! Thank you for a wonderful and special bday lunch!
Great food. Wait staff so so
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Excellent food and service. We look forward to going back again soon
Have the meatballs for an appetizer these are out of this world
Our experience was wonderful, aside from the hiccup with the hostesses; I’d made a reservation and for some reason it took much longer than the norm to locate my name, even after providing the correct spelling of both first and last name multiple times. Although this wasn’t a great start, it definitely didn’t overshadow how amazing everything else was. The seating, the lighting, the waitress’s knowledge and fluency of the menu, the wine selection, the food quality— everything was spectacular. The General Manager, Jeff, even stopped by several guests’ tables to check on us. I don’t usually like pasta, but I took a chance at Colletta... and I’ll definitely be going back for more!
