Had dinner at the College Arms for the first time the other night. Pub and restaurant look and feel lovely. Im a vegetarian and there are quite limited options on the menu but was really looking forward to the shallotcand pear tart. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't available. I chose the burrata and tomato salad instead and was even more disappointed as was served a buffalo mozzarella rather than a burrata! My partner chose the trout for main but it looked and tasted more like salmon than trout. We couldn't be sure so didn't say anything.

Menu not as good as last visit but food was enjoyable. Wine prices had increased considerably. Excellent service. It was a quiet day but it didn't matter because we enjoyed ourselves anyway. Couldn't help noticing the "Brakes" lorry parked outside as we left. It would be nice to have some proper cooking.

Food was delicious. Order wasn’t exactly what we asked for but we didn’t complain. Ended up with an extra portion of chips we paid for. May have been a new member of staff. Had the lunch menu offer. The open steak sandwich was delicious and the chips one of the best I’ve ever had.

I was really impressed with the ambience, clean and well maintained. The food was presented well, and everyone liked their meals. Two small niggles - the service, though extremely friendly, was a little slow when waiting our table, and we found the background music a little loud. Overall, a lovely place to visit, I would go back there. A big shout out to their value menu, which had some lovely meals and for 2 courses, just over £20, well worth it

Had Sunday beef roast. The potatoes were not good. Burned hard and full of grease. Poor quality of potatoes used. Hardly any greens, and Yorkshire pudding was shop bought and not good. Shame as was really looking forward to dining here.

What a lovely pub. Wonderful waitress who was very attentive. Food was great and dog friendly pub so perfect! Fire was on and a lovely garden room! We will come again.
