Located directly across from the Turner Gallery, in the heart of Margate. Colina is a fish-forward restaurant, highlighting great local ingredients, with dishes inspired by the sun-kissed Mediterranean.

With daily specials written on the blackboard and a range of smaller and larger seasonal plates, Colina has you covered for a light bite and a glass of wine, or a selection of plates to share.

Join us for a drink in our beautiful basement bar for a pre (or post!) dinner drink from Wednesday to Sunday.

The service at Colina was excellent and it's an excellent location but at lunchtime it was almost empty meaning there was little ambience. The food, which focused on fresh fish was ambitious and well prepared. It was overpriced though at almost £50 per person with no alcohol as we were all driving and only main course and dessert.

We enjoyed the most divine meal here for our anniversary. Stunning food, lovely staff, a romantic corner with the golden evening sun streaming through the windows. Really relaxed vibes and exceptional menu. Particularly loved the asparagus salad and the whole baked sole special.

Fresh seasonable flavours served by attentive staff. Great atmosphere quiet and understated . Enjoyed the cellar bar afterwards too

Great friendly service! Lovely space too. The sea bass risotto was really good. Unfortunately the starter was a bit bland and the desert was not fresh.

Great food yet again - lovely family meal . The only issue was having to prompt staff a couple of times to come over but they were very gracious and we did not feel uncomfortable. We will definitely come back as every time we have been the food and drink - including cocktails has been exemplary. The decor gives a relaxing and interesting environment to enjoy yourself amongst a very happy group of diners! Thank you
