Coles 735 Main hits it out of the park again. I love the herb crusted chicken and my date loves the filet. Our appetizer of choice at the moment is the shrimp tempura. We also love the bread basket, it is hard to choose which bread we like the best, the pepper biscuits, the rosemary rolls, or the ciabatta bread. The Chef Cole also came by our table to see how we were doing. Thanks Cole.
This place is a gem for its quiet but beautiful ambiance. The food was outstanding from the Filet Mignon, to the Salmon, to the Pork Chops... and the side dishes were equally as delicious! The service was impeccable, warm and friendly. You truly felt as though you were the only folks there and you could hear conversation without loud music playing.
It was wonderful! Highly recommend! Best steak I have had in Lexington in quite some time.
Cute and cozy. Not a large selection on the menu. Meal price did not match quality.
Dinner for 2. We each had a nightly special and both were exceptional. For dessert we each had carrot cake which came with a dollop of cinnamon gelato. The entrees were a masterpiece pleasing to the eye, and equally pleasing to the pallet. Our server was very attentive. This is a great place for special occasions or nightly dining. Our entrees were about $35 each and for the culinary experience well worth it.
We were celebrating my friend’s purchase of a new home, and this was the perfect place! The setting is wonderful and the salmon was delicious- perfectly cooked!
Excellent food and service!!!
I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. It was all good. Prices indicated was $31 to $50. But when I got there the meal was $75’per person for Valentine’s Day. No options allowed to order off menu. I called couple of times but no one mentioned the menu was Valentine’s Day menu or price. They should have updated on Open Table the change in price as other restaurants had done. A few of them had done this. This could have been embarrassing for someone who was not prepared. Seating was too close to other patrons. I had to ask to be reseated but it was too close. Dessert was awful. Cookies for dessert? The only saving thing was the tenderloin and finger potatoes. Disappointed!
As always...delicious!! Coming here never lets me down.
Excellent food and service. We will be back!
Coles never disappoints, wonderful food, service and atmosphere!! My favorite restaurant in Lexington!
Everything was great, the price reflects the exceptional food. Definitely worth it, will be back!
Well prepared upscale food at a reasonable price point and friendly, attentive service.
The service at Cole's was impeccable. Every course was beautifully plated and delicious.
Coles 735 Main was spot on for our Valentine Eve dinner. Jacob's service was prompt, but not intrusive. Well done, Jacob. New York strip prepared medium rare was on the money and seasoned just right. One of the best steaks in Lexington. We look forward to our return trip.
Cole's never disappoints! Went for an early Valentine's Day date with my wife. Had a lovely evening, excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Service was excellent as usual. One of my favorite places to eat in Lexington.
Coles is a solid "Yes" for food and ambiance.
Service is very good.
Food is good.
I wish they had more vegetarian offerings.
The bar area is cozy and offers a great place for a pre-dinner drink.
Everything was great! Never disappoints!
Really enjoyed our first trip to Cole's. Warm, cozy atmosphere. Attentive- but not obtrusive- service. Delicious- but not pretentious- special occasion food. Best flavor in a filet I've ever experienced and the crispy grits were the ideal pairing. The freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were a perfect end to the meal. Thanks Coles. We'll be back!
My husband and I had the scallops, ny strip, mushrooms, bakes brie appetizer, and the chocolate cookies with ice cream. All were as good as it gets. Would not change a single thing.
