The chef really knows what they are doing! The flavors balanced perfectly with each dish we ate. The overall experience was a treat; it was truly wonderful. The staff were very attentive & knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back if we are in Lexington in the future & we will be telling our friends about it if they plan on traveling here too! Glad we stumbled upon this gem on our journey.

The food was delicious and the menu has a lot of options, plus specials. The service was great and efficient! Only complaint was the noise from the street when seated outside. I would try to get a table inside next time!

My husband likes his steak well done. There is no better place than Cole’s to get a well done steak. This visit was no different. I tried the halibut, a special on this day, it was delicious! Food and service is always exceptional!

We had an amazing dinner from the lobster bisque, then onto my husband’s filet and my Alaskan halibut. Our server was very informative on specials and entrees. We even had dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary. Our table was in a tiny alcove so we felt secluded but could view the entire restaurant. Only change I would recommend is my chair wasn’t very comfortable. Definitely going back …

Had a wonderful experience. Met new friends at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready . The quality of the food was over the top as usual. This is our favorite restaurant in Lexington hands down better than Jeff Ruby’s and other premium venues.

Lucked into an early reservation on a Tuesday night and were so glad we went. Great food, attentive service (would have been 5-star except for a minor bar issue). Cole's has become one of our favorite restaurants -- always an excellent experience. Ricky was our server -- great job!

Always a great meal at Coles. The service is 5 star and the food is excellent. My boss was in town for a few days and he said this was the best meal he ate during his stay. I won't disparage the the other places he went, but they were nice places within walking distance of downtown.

The food was great as was the service, but to sit at an outdoor table is like sitting on a traffic island as cars whiz by, many with souped up exhausts. To make matters worse, at a table not far enough from ours was a table of young women who seemed to be having a contest to see who had the loudest, silliest laugh. No one asked them to tone it down. It fun.

The curried carrot ginger soup du jour was amazing - it was a hard decision to try that vs the beloved lobster bisque, but I would make that choice again in a heartbeat. Thanks for always delivering an exceptional meal and experience!

Our waitress was extremely rude when most of our party left. My husband and I were finishing our drinks and she picked up my younger brothers check, scoffed, let me know she was broke and made $2.31 an hour. He didn’t leave a tip large enough for her. She then ignored me and stormed back to the kitchen when I tried to add more cash to our tip to make up for it. She got 3 separate checks with 3 separate tips. I know 2 of those checks were at least 20%cash tips. I cannot believe she would act that way to regular customers on a busy Saturday night. She came to our table maybe 3 times. We ordered drinks twice thru someone else. Other people brought us our food and checked in on us. The table next to us heard her and were disgusted as well. Not sure that’s the image you want I portray at a nicer restaurant as if her flower tattoo on her shoulder wasn’t enough.

Beef shank,recommended by the server, was horrible. Too well done, chewy, not good at all. On a bed of grits that was equally bad. Service was very slow. Very unusual for Cole’s. It will take some time before I go back.

Great Experience. I was seated in the outside porch area facing Main Street so the noise level from traffic wasn’t the best. Our waiter was amazing and our food was amazing. Desert amazing. We will be dining here again. I may just request to sit inside next time. We were celebrating our anniversary, so Thank you for the amazing experience.

Lovely, delicious, dinner. The swordfish special was beautifully presented, a fabulous blend of flavors, but unfortunately, slightly overcooked. It did not ruin our delightful dinner which was nicely enhanced by our server John whom was knowledgeable and delightful.
