This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered.     Ordered steak medium rare and it was very rare, under seasoned, and tough. Didn’t send it back as it was Oscared. Potatoes were good but needed a veg.

    I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Coldwater Cafe yesterday to celebrate two birthdays. The food is always excellent with service to match, plus the long list of delicious desserts provides a favorite for everyone. I choose the carrot cake which never disappoints. I highly recommend this restaurant. Be good to yourself and make a reservation today .

    We absolutely love Coldwater Cafe! Love sitting on the patio in the evenings during the summer and Zach always takes such great care of us! He’s the best!

    Brandy, our server was great. She was there when we needed her to be. There was no rushing around and everything was perfect. The fish and pork chop was cooked to perfection. It was a exceptional evening and the couple we were with were from out of town and had never been there before. They talked about the food, service and the atmosphere the rest of the night Well done!!!!

    Always a treat to visit Coldwater. What a treasure in Tipp City. Quiche was amazing as usual. To full to order the famous tea cake. A wonderful place to meet friends.

    The food was excellent! I had the Halibut dinner entree and it was delicious. The portion was the perfect size and tasted wonderful. I had the Creme Brule dessert, it was very tasty but a little bit runny but still good. The Strawberry Lemondrop was fantastic too. Our server was very nice, helpful and friendly. She made excellent suggestion for the meal and for desserts. I will definitely go back. I want to try the Carrot Cake, neighboring diners ordered it to split, it's huge but looked so delicious.

    The Coldwater Cafe never disappoints. The wait staff is professional, polite and unobtrusive. The atmosphere, pleasant and the food always outstanding. Although, my favorite sandwich, the fried green tomato, did suffer from the addition of pimento cheese. We enjoyed our time there.
