This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. Wow! We haven’t been at Coldwater for many years .. what a pleasant surprise. Menu was innovative and taste was outstanding. From appetizers to salad to main entree, presentation and taste was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We are grateful to have such an outstanding fine dining restaurant in our area. John’s cocktails and friendly welcome are always appreciated. Adriana is a truly professional server with extensive wine and food knowledge. The personal attention from Shannon and Nick is always appreciated. The wine list is carefully curated with interesting and excellent offerings. Chef Katy’s creativity and ability to balance flavors, with coherent but fun combinations, are the heart of fine dining. Our meals were served promptly. Everything was fresh and flavorful. You can never go wrong with the special if available. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you.

Food was incredible. Honestly price was steep (knew that going in) but value wasn’t there…The ambiance was really kind of lacking too- slightly uncomfortable. Having booked reservations it was odd to me that there were multiple open booths but we got a table- we weren’t even asked (and then booths were used for parties of only 2, so definitely not an issue of space). Brought my extremely well behaved 1 year old because it was my birthday and even though she was quieter than parties next to us, kind of felt like this is not a kid friendly place. The food was great and our server was pretty good too but I don’t see myself ever returning.

Coldwater Cafe is simply our favorite place to meet and have lunch. Every person smiles which is so comforting these days. There is never a rush to order. Food is always excellent and desserts are icing on the cake which I ordered! The carrot cake is divine. I also like that I can make reservations. I give all 10’s!

My first visit. Had looked at the menu on line, but had no idea what to expect. Check out the craft cocktails. My guess is that deserts change nightly, but if you can catch the Key Lime Pie Stuffed Cheesecake you are in for a treat!

I knew I would get the quiche even before I arrived. The three cheese quiche was warm, creamy in the middle, nicely crusty on the top. The accompanying fruit was great. Service was great.

Great dinner. The specials (antelope and steel head trout) were amazing and well received by the whole table. The jalapeno margarita was phenomenal. Really enjoyed that. It wasn't too spicy, just great flavors. Everyone at our table won clean plate awards!

Squash blossoms filled with crab? Who thinks of these dishes? It was incredibly imaginative and delicious. We would love to see these on the menu. Oh, and that batter that was on them, perfect crunch. We also had two filets and they were cooked to perfection. If you can't tell, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Thank you for one of the best meals I've had.

I love Coldwater Cafe, it’s a lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner. It’s a local business, which to me is a bonus, and the quality of the food is great. Service is fantastic too! I love to meet friends here for lunch or dinner, it’s really a special place. I am especially fond of the salmon salad with champagne vinaigrette. It’s really delicious, the salmon is always cooked perfectly and it’s like butter. Will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!

A quiet Tuesday night. Restaurant was full, service top notch and friendly, food outstanding. We had filet and tuna dish, both excellent. If I'm forced to offer a comment, it would be offer some extra horseradish for the shrimp cocktail sauce.
