This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    I got the daily quiche which was wonderful and creamy, as usual. I got to try the fried green tomato sandwich (my friend ordered it). I have to say, this sandwich was perfect! Starting with the grilled bread, it was perfectly crispy. The fried green tomato had a very light coating and it was cooked to the perfection. There was a slightly spicy pimento cheese. Of course, they used Nueske bacon, which is beautiful and smoky. I am not exaggerating folks, this sandwich is the perfect balance. I highly recommend that you give this one a try!

    Incredible in every way. Casey was on point with service, was lots of fun and informative with the menu. She pointed out some of the new items and provided insight. We tried some of the new menu items with several of us having the Chilean Sea Bass (which was out of this world) and another trying the new mushroom pasta (delicious with so much flavor), we also had 2 filets cooked to perfection. Appetizers were fried green tomatoes which even the non-tomato lovers enjoyed, and perfect truffle fries. The two cheesecake options were shared for dessert and everyone loved them. We had an end of evening reservation and everything was perfect. We did not feel rushed at all. Our favorite restaurant always.

    Absolutely wonderful meal. I cannot say enough about Cold Water!! Consistent in service and food quality. If you have not been, run!! It is worth it!

    We all ordered something different & each meal was very good. The server was very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. One of our favorite places for lunch and we enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere

    I had a wonderful lunch with two friends. We all enjoyed a leisurely lunch, did not feel hurried and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was a very pleasant dining experience.

    wedge salad was much smaller than it used to be. Hardly any blue cheese. But the disappointment was the chicken add on. Supposedly sous vide cooked-it was tough, dry and lacking flavor. Not a quality item. Lobster crabcake and mussels were excellent. And as usual, service was top notch. we had a veteran waitress that was delightful and efficient.

    My friends and I love Coldwater Cafe. I have 3 groups of friends I like to eat here with. I love everything about it, food, service, ambiance, all off it.

    It was a beautiful day on the patio. We enjoyed the muscles & quiche. Also it was wine down Wednesday with $5. glasses. Nice!
