This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice.     We were there for our anniversary. Been coming for a few years now. Zach has been a big reason we keep coming back. His service is impeccable and his memory is crazy. We only come down for our anniversary as it’s over an hour away. He has consistently remembered us and it just adds to the attention to details The Coldwater Cafe does. Between the anniversary setting, the champagne, the greeting by the hostess. Just a top notch place. We will be enjoying our 18th year of marriage anniversary with them next year! Can’t wait!

    Ordered steak medium rare and it was very rare, under seasoned, and tough. Didn’t send it back as it was Oscared. Potatoes were good but needed a veg.

    I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Coldwater Cafe yesterday to celebrate two birthdays. The food is always excellent with service to match, plus the long list of delicious desserts provides a favorite for everyone. I choose the carrot cake which never disappoints. I highly recommend this restaurant. Be good to yourself and make a reservation today .

    Brandy, our server was great. She was there when we needed her to be. There was no rushing around and everything was perfect. The fish and pork chop was cooked to perfection. It was a exceptional evening and the couple we were with were from out of town and had never been there before. They talked about the food, service and the atmosphere the rest of the night Well done!!!!
