We absolutely loved it here! My husband and I came here on one of our very first dates so we decided to celebrate his 30th birthday here too and we were so impressed! Staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly and the drinks were delicious! The fire kept us so warm even when it got colder and we had the best time!

Service could be a little slow. They were fast when we arrived but we were sitting with our empty plates for a while before we managed to get someone over. That being said, the food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were lovely too!

Great pizza and loaded fries. Cocktails took time. No problem as sitting in sun on roof top. Staff all friendly. Glad we booked table. Definitely use again.

Delicious pizza, loaded fries and frickles on the rooftop in the sunshine... and it's worth a visit just for the disco ball tree! Bliss.

We stayed on the rooftop terrace and it was magical. Seeing the sun set and the castle and everything while eating absolutely delicious food was an experience we won’t forget. Service was amazing, we got a birthday cake as requested.

10/10 atmosphere - the live band New Wave Generators played amazing Scottish covers. Everyone was line dancing by the end!

We are now home from vacation and reviewing in our minds, what parts of our trip to Scotland stood out the most. Definitely the warm welcome, kind hospitality, excellent beers, wine and cocktails and the Sunday Roast are among our fondest memories. Having just landed in Edinburgh, we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome, better meal or view of the castle! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.
