   Loved it! First time at the rooftop bar and the drinks, food and service were all excellent! Highly recommend and we will be back!

   Great beers, frickles are so good and salt and chilli wings are insane. Pizza looks like heaven and taste like original Italian. Very vibrant and funky place. Great value for money and definitely worth to visit.

   Superb location for a lovely catch up with friends visiting from Australia. Awesome view of the castle from the deck where we sat in the sunshine.

   Staff were friendly, attentive and brilliant. We had a bigger group so they helped us split the bill. The band were also extremely good. Food was also lovely. Really good vibe for a Saturday evening and set us up for the rest of our night!

   We visited the rooftop for cocktails. Nice space with great castle views and fantastic staff but not a lot of cover for a drizzly April evening. Cocktail menu a bit limited.

   We booked the roof terrace and I had a fantastic Philly Cheese Steak handheld pizza (the best food I’ve had in a long time!) and my OH had haggis loaded fries (equally as good) washed down with a coldwater lager and Baltic ipa. Nice view of the castle and nice relaxed vibe. Good service too!

   Wow – what a fantastic review, thank you! We are so glad you booked the roof terrace and made the most of the view – it really does make for a special spot, especially with a cold drink in hand. Delighted to hear the Philly Cheese Steak handheld pizza hit the mark (we think it's a bit of a hidden gem!), and that the Haggis Loaded fries and beers went down just as well.    After taking our orders, servers forgot to bring our drinks. We asked for water for the table three times and only got it as we were about to leave. They automatically added the discretionary charges when we were paying without asking us if we’d pay it.

    Really lovely bar in the heart of Grassmarket. A nice escape from normal tourist traps.
