Absolutely delicious sourdough bread! We shared the Little Gem and NY steak, and everything was so savory. We will definitely be back!!

What a fantastic treat our meal was tonight! First time at the restaurant and I would say it was a gem. Perfect view of the waterfalls and duck family living there, perfect weather, social distancing went above and beyond what you'd find anywhere else, the service was great thanks to our server Nancy, and the food and drinks were delectable. We got the red snapper and NY steak, which was grilled to perfection. The gin and tonic was extra special due to the locally grown lavender in it. Portions were generous so no room for dessert and we have leftovers for another meal, half the steak and half the red snapper.. I told Nancy as we were leaving that she would see us again, and I meant it. All in all, I'd say that dining out these days is more than just eating since we have to worry about catching a potentially fatal virus everywhere we go and we need to feel comfortable where we are eating as much as enjoy the food. It's a bonus if the ambiance is fantiastic. To this, I would say, Coin and Candor definitely fits the bill on all counts. It's expensive, but the surroundings are gorgeous and you are not eating in a parking lot!

Dined here for twice business meals for lunch/brunch during COVID -- booked due to the location and expected safety precautions as well as the atmosphere - a Shawmut-designed restaurant with beautiful grounds. The patio and room looked exceedingly lovely with a view of the waterfall and outdoor wedding area. The hotel took a lot of COVID precautions on entry and looked immaculate.
The food at Coin and Cando - menu has some very interesting twists on dishes that have wide-scale appeal. The croissant and breads looked very interesting - diet precluded me from ordering them. The lox plate at brunch had a very generous serving of excellent lox on a bed of well-dressed greens and the staff prepared the bagel exactly as I had requested. At lunch, the Branzino was perfectly cooked, well-presented but needed a salad. I ordered the fig buratta and expected something like the norm, but found myself delighted with the rich mixture of roasted figs, bacon, onions and kale pesto with greens and the buratta. Service is delightul - attentive but not overboard.

Setting is beautiful and food is very good. However the service was not good. I had to flag someone down to have my order taken after waiting 15 minutes. This was during lunch and I had an appointment to get to. I think they just forgot about me or there was confusion as to who should be helping me. I wasn’t given the Dinela menu which was too bad as I may have ordered it. I will try them again but I expect better service for a Four Seasons.

The service is OUTSTANDING and the food is SUPERB!
Our table was not ready at the time it was reserved but they more than made up for it as the genuinely apologized and the manager served us complimentary champagne. Later that evening the chef came to the table to greet us and ask how we enjoyed our meals. Lunch or dinner Coin & Candor is my go to spot.
A great experience in a beautiful setting. Sat outside overlooking the pond and waterfalls. Very scenic. The food was delicious. Portions were medium sized. Overall meal was a bit pricey. But a great getaway during this time of Stay at Home Covid.

Coin & Candor should be on the top ten list of all California restaurants. Food, presentation, prompt service, attention to details and the genuinely warm hospitality you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. They have successfully created a vibe and culture that makes you want to return as often as possible.

First restaurant we've been to that felt like the old days. Truly great dining experience. Great view of the waterfalls. You have a covered roof with built in heaters above. Excellent food. Excellent staff. Very careful. All staff wear face masks and face shields. Download menus on the phone. More than social distanced spacing. Finally you're not eating in a parking lot. This is probably the only restaurant I will eat in Los Angeles, maybe one outdoor one in Malibu, but when the weather gets colder this is the only option and its fantastic.

Beautiful setting, however the service was lacking. I had asked our server, Nancy, what cocktail the people had a few tables over as it looked appealing. Her response was "I don't know I am not their server." At a place like The Four Seasons I would expect that Nancy could have either asked the server for that table or the bartender about the drink. I was a server at Chili's for a period in my 20's and even I would not have given that answer back then...at a Chili's! The Four Seasons should have better customer service.

First time out to eat since the pandemic started. They took our temperature at the door, seated us away from other people, the staff wore mask and face shields. Food and service was amazing. We felt very safe.

A disappointment when so much was expected. The place was flat and sombre lacking enthusiasm and welcome. We did not enjoy the visit and would hope that one day they get the message to provide the best they purport to offer.
Great for special occasions and date night! It was pretty quiet when we went but sitting on the patio we had a great view of the waterfall. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was fantastic.
Great views of the outdoor fountain and garden at the Four seasons. Service was flawless. The snapper was delicious and the wine list was excellent. Not for the budget diners though.

DRINKS ARE OVER PRICED AT $17.50 A DRINK. FOOD IS GREAT BUT VERY BLAND. I HAD THE SNAPPER WHICH IS THEIR SIGNATURE DISH AND IT HAD NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER OTHER THAN THE LEMON ADDED ON TOP. MY WIFE'S MUSSELS WERE ALSO BLAND. A LITTLE SPICE CAN GO A LONG WAY. THE FOOD NEEDS SOME FLAVOR AND FLAIR. EVERYTHING ELSE FROM WAITERS TO AMBIANCE WAS FANTASTIC.

My daughter and I love to get away here for a bite for lunch. It feels like you are on vacation sitting outside overlooking the waterfalls. Wonderful food! They do a great job of offering all types of food for all diets. Book a brunch/lunch today! It's wonderful!!

We were celebrating my sons birthday. Our first dinner out. Our first server was great and then we were switched to another server who pretty much disappeared the rest of the night. The first server had to bring us items and follow up on drinks for us. Terrible. Definitely not a $365 dinner. Especially disappointing since there were hardly any tables seated and manager was also walking around but never checked in. Moderate is only for the first server who continued to help us even though we weren’t his table. We will not return.
Coin and Candor is beautiful, everything was amazing the food is priced well for the quality everything is delicious! The drinks however are overpriced $17.50 for a small vodka!
The outside patio is very pretty overlooking the huge rock wall fountain. Beautiful ambience. Food was very good, as was the Wine. Service was wonderful. It was noisy.

Service was excellent, food very good, but limited choices on the menu. Side dishes are priced quite high. But lovely views, attentive service, good food and validated parking.

Love this place - every detail and the food is excellent! The bread omg. Just thank me later. I like the quiet but cool vibe and it is very upscale relaxed, great service and enjoyable for a date or friend night or day.
We went to Coin and Candor for the first time after first popping by Stonehaus at the Westlake Village in and getting a little freaked out by the hordes of people there on a Saturday night, not socially distanced, and only somewhat masked and necessitating valet parking. At the Four Seasons, by contrast, in deference to COVID-19, they aren't valet parking, they have all protocols in place to minimize the risk of infection (interrogation and temperature check just to enter the hotel; and the folks at the restaurant had masks, face shields and gloves). So we felt very safe. The setting for the outdoor seating is also very pretty; the ambience was good. The food, however, was inconsistent. The bread is delicious, freshly baked from heritage grains. The cheese platter was also delightful and surprisingly abundant--it was almost a meal in itself. The steak and fries, by contrast, were good, but not Four Seasons good. It could have been from any number of the restaurants in town. The dessert (the 10-layer chocolate cake) was similarly okay, but not outstanding. Overall, we had a pleasant dinner, but we wouldn't rush back.
