We had an outstanding dinner. The service, food and ambience (we sat on the patio overlooking the gardens) were all top-notch! We will be back!
The entire, I mean entire team, enhance the dining experience at Coin & Candor. The ambience, service and cuisine are exceptional. Consistent and First rate. A regular must dine.
Ambiance is clean and elegant but the food doesn't quite match the environment.
Delicious food, great service and a beautiful setting. We were there for brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday and this place did not disappoint. Will be back again.
Even though there aren’t any vegan items on the menu the chef made me a delicious vegetable and rice dish. It was so yummy! Everything had a nice presentation. And they did have a yummy vegan and gluten-free dessert on the menu which I rarely see at restaurants. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my husband said he steak was chewy.
The Four Seasons is, well, simply the Four Seasons. The service is always the best and the great news is that they have delicious food to back it up! They take hospitality to the next level and make every guest feel like a welcome VIP. Starting with warm scrumptious sour dough bread and moving on to the oh so good gem salad with a generous portion of salmon, it was just perfect. The salad dressing really complemented the flavors. I was dining with a gluten-free friend and our server Philip went out of his way to make her feel comfortable with her selection. He even brought over gluten free rolls for her to try . She said they were the best! We both can’t wait to go back and try out the desserts. As a bonus - the patio is overlooking the lovely grounds, making you feel like you are on vacation.
We were at Coin & Candor for a dinner with friends on a Sunday night. It was the first time eating indoors in a restaurant since March 2020, so that alone made it very special.
The protocols were in place. We had a nice table and a friendly and knowledgeable waiter.
For first course, I had the delicious house-made fettuccine with sea urchin, which was the dish that had made me decide on Coin & Candor in the first place. My husband enjoyed the grilled avocado dish.
My main course was the Spanish octopus with potatoes and my husband had the Baja California red snapper, both were just right and not too large portion-wise.
Our friends, who are not that adventurous when it comes to food, ordered steaks and I am not sure if they were as happy as I was.
I will happily go back to Coin & Candor! Not only was my food delicious, but they also source much for the kitchen locally and even have their own garden for herbs and citrus and squash. That is very important for us.
it was an amazing experience. was supposed it was in the Four Seasons Hotel. I didn't know that when making the reservation.
Lovely sitting on balcony!
Food was exquisite, as always.
Always an amazing experience, I’m loving the additions to the menu! The octopus, fluke sashimi & grilled avocado were amazing!! The gnocchi were so delicious and tender. Can’t wait to come back and visit again!
Ambiance was great. Good service although patio dining wasn’t available when we arrived which was a great disappointment as we book the restaurant for that reason.
Serene view of the waterfall fountain. Delish french toast.
It’s excellent every time we go there. Love this place
The food was disappointing. We tried both the apple and walnut salad, the dungeness crab salad and the flat iron steak and potato entree. The best item were the two french fry looking potatoes. This were tasty. The rest were underwhelming and bland. The pretzel bread was good.
I had the 47 Monkey gin and tonic. That was a beautiful cocktail and deliciously smooth.
Our experience was wonderful. Amazing service, we were a little chilly and the servers brought out blankets, so sweet! And turned the heaters on for us. Drinks were delicious, food and dessert was incredible. Every single plate was thoughtful and paired so well. It was outstanding. Our server was so attentive and kind! Highly recommend
We are locals and dine at Coin and Candor often. Consistently wonderful and the service is exceptional.
Always an incredible experience from food, service, safety (COVID), ambience and accessibility. One of our favorite places for breakfast dates :).
The food was tasty, but the dessert is the real star! Plus our server (Charlotte, perhaps?) was a delight.
Excellent outdoor dining in the patio for dinner service. We ordered numerous dishes ranging from cheese platter, appetizers, mains, to dessert, and everything was delicious. Desserts were divine: the creme brûlée was the most delicious one I've tasted, and the Berry Nice created all sorts of delight in the mouth. Love having this amazing upscale and quality dining option in the area!
Oh very lovely Mother’s Day brunch! The ambience was spectacular, service was impeccable, food was very good.
If I had to call out a negative it would be portions and prices are a bit mismatched. I do still recommend highly, especially for a occasion.
Amazing view! Service is good! Food could be better! Lovely ambiance!
We went here for my daughters birthday lunch!
Always great for a Special Occasion, except our service was super slow this time & not as attentive as they normally are. We’ll still go back, local favorite!
An early birthday dinner was so enjoyable and relaxing. Our server, Debbie, always great. It is a soothing atmosphere, Chef prepares beautifully presented and perfectly cooked food. We tried the Fluke Sashimi, it was tasty albeit only 6 pieces, was served with some very tasty veggie and sauce. The skirt steak entree is a favorite. The Rubarb Strawberry Pie served a la mode is delicate, just the right amount of sweet and enough for two to share. Thank you for the absolute delightful POPS...loved it.
Food was delicious, aside from the octopus which tasted as if it had been cooked in an exhaust pipe. The swordfish was a nice piece, slightly over cooked for my taste, but good none the less. Red snapper and chicken were excellent. We had some of the breads ( sourdough and pretzel ) that were amazing. Appetizers were great as well.
Love this place, such a calming outdoor view with waterfalls. I dream about the cheese plate and pretzel bread! The red snapper is the only thing I ever have because I like it so much.
Excellent service and food
Excellent service. Wonderful cocktails. The perfect girls-day brunch.
Dear Ladybroker, Thank you for writing about your recent brunch experience! I am so thrilled to hear you had a wonderful time with your friends. We look forward to welcoming you back! Kind regards, Richard Poskanzer Hotel Manager Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village
I was disappointed how slow service was it took 20 minutes to get coffee and water. Our breakfasts came out 10 minutes apart and we were only 2 people.
Great drink, great food, and overall good experience.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent visit. We are so thrilled to hear you had a stellar time and we can't wait to welcome you back! Kind regards, Richard Poskanzer Hotel Manager Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village
Excellent customer service
I had an amazing time with my family the restaurant was perfect for intimate time.
We had a perfect date night there. Our server, Jesus was great! His food and cocktail recommendations and descriptions were on point. We loved everything. We sat outside towards the end, and although we didn’t have a waterfall view, we loved how quiet it was. It felt like we had the restaurant all to ourselves. It was wonderful. Extra bonus star for the overhead heaters on a cold evening.
Beautiful property, great food, service could be improved.
Everything we expected from a Four Seasons restaurant and more. It was the perfect romantic lunch date. Make sure you get outdoor seating to enjoy the waterfall.
Highly recommend! We had a great time celebrating a milestone birthday in our family during lunch/brunch. The food, service, and restaurant space are all excellent. We'll be back!
Great restaurant and environment l. Service was a little slow and I didn’t realize the restaurant was located inside of the Four Season’s Hotel. I feel like that should be made more clear on their website.
Overall we had a great time. There could have been a little more attention to detail as far as service was concerned. Waiter seemed a little overwhelmed.
