Ashley did a wonderful job taking care of everything! The food presentation and flavors were amazing! I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon and my wife had the gem salad with grilled salmon. Thanks for a wonderful brunch outside on the patio!

Unfortunately, this was one of our worst experiences at this restaurant. We were a relatively large group, and although the restaurant was half empty, and we didn’t make reservations, the, the table situation was suboptimal. I believe this was due to the lack of experience of the hostess. The waiter was the only good thing about the experience. He was phenomenal, and I have no complaints about him. The food was mediocre at best, and came out lukewarm with no sides. The dessert which was supposed to be hot, came out, cold and had to be sent back. Overall, I would not expect this from a gourmet restaurant, especially inside a four seasons hotel.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We made reservations in this app and had to wait 10 minutes because when we arrived inside was very noisy so we asked to be seated outside so we had to wait. The food was delicious and staff very attentive and on spot. The Pastry Chef Laura visited us and made us some amazing desserts she was just lovely..

Very tiny portions with lackluster flavor. Halibut was mushy, wagyu had no flavor and had too much fatty chewy parts. Only decent thing was grilled avocado. Wagyu was 56$ for 4 slices.

Coin and Candor was excellent. I had the Creme Brûlée French toast and my mom had the pancakes with sides of bacon. All was very good and the service was great as usual. I would highly recommend this restaurant for brunch. (We did peek at the dinner menu and it seemed to limited for our tastes)

I believe the atmosphere and the customer service is what speaks volumes for this restaurant. If you make reservations here, I'd recommend getting seating outside to see the waterfall. The food was maybe a B+ and the drinks were great.

The food and service were amazing! We celebrated an Anniversary and they made it very special. There was not a moment that we didn't feel cared for and there wasn't anything more we could have wanted! Loved the charcuterie board and the GF pan de bono...so good and such a treat. We had salad, red snapper, the corn dish and the chocolate sphere. Paired with delicious wine, sitting outside by the beautiful fountains, with the perfect breeze coming through. We absolutely loved our experience here!

Have enjoyed numerous excellent meals (breakfast, brunch and dinner) at Coin & Candor! Always great food and wonderful service! Favorite breakfast items include the Oatmeal Pancakes, the Croque Madame, the Huevos Rancheros, and the chocolate croissant. Favorite brunch items include the Smoked Salmon Tostada, the Big Eye Tuna, the Lobster Roll and various delicious selections from the special pastries offered at brunch. From the dinner menu, the breads are amazing and other special favorites include the Grilled Avocado, the Short Rib Carne Asada and the Little Gem Salad with salmon --- always leaving room for one of the fabulous desserts (they are all delicious!) with my current favorites being the Chocolate Sphere and the Peach Bourbon Crisp. If we dine at breakfast, brunch or dinner before 5:00, we typically stop at Stir (just off the hotel lobby) and pick up a scone, chocolate chip cookie or cinnamon roll to take home "for later". Already looking forward to dining at Coin & Candor again soon!

Christopher was such a great server. We had a pre dinner drink at the pernsicous Penny. Ambiance was great, service excellent and extraordinary food. It’s worth the drive.

We eat there all the time. This time it was not quite as good as usual. The halibut came out luke warm. The pasta was more than al dente it was undercooked. The server was pleasant and did his job. It just was off.

Coin & Candor is probably as good as it gets out in the suburbs of Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks. It seemed quite expensive even for a Four Seasons Hotel restaurant for most entrees ($46 for tacos). The mushroom risotto was average, a bit sticky and gluey and pressed down into the plate and served lukewarm. The Wagyu strip steak was good but served alone and the sides are all for sharing so if your dining companion isn't in agreement, limited options for a single diner (dined once with a friend and once alone during my stay). The burger was probably the best thing we had, though a thin "smash burger" style. Patio was cold both nights, they offered a blanket but only had one heater that other lucky diners had already commandeered. Heat sources in the roof but not all on and didn't help. First night service was attentive and great, second night was a slower night but service was nice but inattentive and I was freezing and had to ask for my check finally. It's fine if you are staying at the resort but not worth a separate trip

We went for breakfast and brunch as they advertise it like that’s what it’s all about and we went in the morning to discover they only do breakfast and brunch on weekends. Very disappointed. The main food was overpriced and not a lot of options. It was good though.

Coin & Candor is a beautiful location. We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed garden and waterfall views. The food was extraordinary, and the service was extremely friendly and fun. Strongly recommend for special events.
