Coexist Caf_ is a restaurant with a social stance. In addition to being a place where guests can get delicious food, Coexist Caf_ looks to actively attack racism, sexism, homophobia and any and all forms of religious intolerance through its various events it holds and blogs. Coexist Caf_ is beautifully decorated, merging the aesthetics of a nightclub and high-end restaurant. Seemingly everything is bathed in cool blue and purple lights, giving the entire place a relaxing atmosphere. Coexist Caf_ is attached to the Hotel Rio, but guests to the restaurant don't have to be staying at the hotel.
Great Mex style egg dishes and value priced wine list
we were a group of 9, and all of us enjoyed our appetizers, salads and meal. Top quality!
This is a gem of a restaurant with ambiance and a courtyard setting, and attentive service. A separate lounge where we enjoyed desserts and coffee afterward. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent. Had salmon and steak with great wine by glass. A/C and indoor open seating. Comfortable and cozy. In Center near Malecon. Great people watching. Owner served free shots of mint tequila and coffee tequila after dinner. Great time
I wasone of two tables at 8:00 they brought the specials out on a plate and they were all frozen in plastic wrap except the lobster? So I ordered the lobster but all I could really taste were the pound of mushrooms that filled the shells? It is unique that you are sitting a round an indoor pool. However when I was there a child was swimming in the pool. This was the most expensive dinner and worst tasting on my vacation there.
Food was mediocre as was the service. With all the fantastic dining opportunities in PV don't waste your time or money going to Coexist. The premise of the restaurant is fantastic but the food does not follow suit.
