This was our third visit to Coeur. It’s one of our favorite Friday night spots. But our recent experience did not live up to our expectations or resemble our two prior visits in any way. Our food was good, but not as exceptional as it has been on prior visits. We were disappointed to learn they had bo ravioli, despite it being on the menu. Our appetizers were good (octopus and peach salad), although the octopus was somewhat overcooked. The striped bass was very tasty, but when finally delivered to our table, it was cold. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server (presumably experienced, as she was training someone) was friendly, but totally inattentive. We waited almost 30 minutes for a bottle of wine. By the time it arrived and was poured, we had finished our appetizers. I guess the place is understaffed, as it was not particularly busy for a Friday night and there were no large parties. I’m sure we’ll return at some point based on our prior experiences but not until we’ve had an opportunity to forget about last evening’s issues. PS: Extensive wine list is very impressive, albeit a bit over-priced. The selection of French whites is amazing!

Kind and attentive service. Special attention to allergies and vegetarian choices. (Chef delivered veggie extravaganza!) Wonderful food. Patio perfect!!

Had a nice dinner with four, everything we tried was tasty and nicely prepared. The sea bass was cooked perfectly as was the steak. Service was helpful and friendly without being obtrusive in any way.

Overall it was ok. I think chef is trying too hard to create high brow food but he/she is missing the mark. Small portions. Limited wine list by the glass. The service was good and they remodeled the space nicely from days as Asagi. I don’t like being told that we must order everything at once by the chef….who is the customer? I guess we spent money to please the chef

Was super excited to try this place....Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The food was solid but the place was maybe 1/2 filled, the atmosphere/decor would be great for a panini shop but lacked any real personality and our waiter was pretty clueless...he hadn't tried several items on the menu so was of no help and when we needed drinks not on the menu ...we had to help out finding if they had the ingredients. Also, despite having pages of French White Wines, our favorites...we had 2 that were close to tasteless...French bread, warm olives were nice. The chicken was good, not phenomenal but good. Cocktails were awesome but a bit tiny even by fancy restaurant standards.

Really amazing food! The garlic Parmesan bread with a sun-dried tomato oil is so, so good. Grilled asparagus and charred octopus were also outstanding. Great atmosphere, friendly service, great wine list, and creative, wonderful dishes—Couer offers something for everyone!

Great food, great music (added several tracks to my playlists), service was ok (our waitress wasn't very personable and didn't seem to be well-versed in the menu). I'd probably go back. The dessert and cocktails were great!
