Great food! The staff was very accommodating for us as we go there early and they transferred our bar tab to our table and sat us a few minutes ahead from our reservation time.
Chicken diavola is DELICIOUS and huge portion! Pizza with pistachios was also very good. Loved the fried cauliflower. Nice gelato for dessert. Would definitely recommend and go back!
Our favorite place, right in our neighborhood. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and they give you your space. We recommend to everyone.

I went there for restaurant week and every dish was amazing. The portions were great and the desserts were phenomenal. I would like to go back and try the pizza which they are known for but wasn't on the restaurant week menu.
I'm pro any place you can make a reservation for brunch, because I don't like waiting for food. Bonus if I'm super psyched about the menu. This was the most excited I had been about a menu in awhile! They had a good assortment of both sweet and savory options. All were stellar. Service was quick. Bloodies and mimosas were half off, and it was Restaurant Week, so we picked a good day. Water was always full, there was no rush with the check. We'll definitely be back for brunch, and can't wait to return for dinner.
Spent our anniversary here. Had a great time and even got a champagne toast to kick off the night on the House. Loved the restaurant week menu.
Amazing restaurant week brunch menu. We walked away stuffed! Started out with a yogurt & granola bowl, followed by the open face porchetta sandwich (SO GOOD), and topped off with a scone w/ peppercorn cream. Really great service, the food was excellent, cocktails - superb!
Visited Coda Di Volpe during Restaurant Week 2018 with the girlfriend. DInner per person of $44 include appetizer, entree and dessert. While limited menu items, good variety for each course. They do have good looking pizzas, but was not on the menu.
1st Course - Grilled Octopus and Bruschetta, both were very good
2nd Course - Chicken Diavola and Wild Boar Osso Buco. Also both extremely good and huge portion for "tasting menu". Also added Bucatini Pomodoro which was very good
3rd Course - Butterscotch Budino and Apple Crostata - good way to end the meal.
Overall would definitely go back and recommend for good group on couple's night dinner.
And portions are good value for the money. You won't leave hungry.
I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while since it is in our neighborhood. Restaurant week was the perfect opportunity. The wood grilled octopus was outstanding - we had never tried octopus. My husband had the bruschetta, osso bucco, and a butterscotch dessert that he would have licked the bowl if he could have. I had the chicken diavolo and three large scoops of ice cream. Portions were generous and I cannot wait to go back to try the branzino.
Very, very cool Southport Corridor spot. Reminds me of a polished Evanston Union. Like the vibe. Like the service. Solid edgy food. Wonderful Chicago Restaurant Week discovery!
The food was good pretty good and decently priced. I came in with a date for restaurant week. We were seated on time. I had the chicken, and it was honestly really good. My date had the boar. My only complaint was the butterscotch dessert I had. Maybe it's because I've over grown my sweet tooth, but it was way too sweet. It was a packed house but verything else was good.
Waiter was fantastic and had great recommendations. Food was outstanding as well.
Beautiful build out! Food was fabulous. Shared cauliflower side, fungi pizza, and branzino. Everything was delicious! Wine was superb. Server was excellent! Definitely returning!
This was my first time at the restaurant and went during Chicago's Restaurant Week so took advantage of the specials. The food was wonderful, service very attentive but unobtrusive and nice setting. Very cozy. I will be back.

Pizza served by cut with table scissor - not for lefty and pizza undercooked and too soft to cut properly. Requested knife or pizza cutter but told this is the Milan way.
Pasta portion overpriced for small amount and al dente was undercooked .
Octopus nicely prepared but again very small portion.
Too bad poor service and food in attractive well located space. Host said they would try to get it better next time
Although the service was a little slow, we had an excellent brunch. Two of us ordered off the restaurant week menu and one off the regular brunch menu. The melas were excellent and really very nicely presented -- they looked grand too.

Went here with my girlfriend for her birthday, letting them know in our reservation about the occasion. The service was excellent, with our waitress being incredibly friendly and prompt. Usually when I go to these sort of restaurants I expect it to take forever to get food, but it arrived incredibly fast. We ordered a cheese platter for an appetizer, which was the perfect thing to start us off. I got a spaghetti dish while my girlfriend got lobster ravioli, both were excellent, and incredibly filling. Lastly, as a surprise, the restaurant brought out a free dessert for her birthday. I was so incredibly impressed by the experience, and I definitely will be heading back soon.
Just about every dish we tried was excellent. There were so many options too! I could see myself going back to try other items.
Great food and service on a quiet Monday night. Always enjoy this neighborhood spot.
