Delicious brunch and desserts with a warm welcome and excellent service. Cute and intimate place. Best if you reserve in advance, usually confirmed via text message.
Great little place, the food was delicious. Very intimate space, nice atmosphere, but it can get quite loud. Would recommend.
Cocotte is my favorite place to eat. I take friends, clients and family for all occasions. The atmosphere, food, service, attention and drinks are wonderful. I wish I could eat there more.
Everything was amazing! Highly recomended.
Came here to celebrate Mother's Day as I was looking for a cute, quiet spot in Soho. The food was very good, the place is tiny but cozy and the servers were extremely attentive. Towards the end a new waiter I hadn't seen tried to rush us out and that soured my mood a bit since we hadn't been there that long. Considering the day it was and the fact that they had reservations guess it is to be expected. I just found how he did it rude. Otherwise the rest of the staff was amazing and friendly, food was very good and I would definitely go again.
Good service, excellent food, a bit pricey but worth it, I would like to come again for dinner and try the wine
Top quality. Very consistent throughout the years. Going back regularly as menu is seasonal.
Thank you.. all the staff were attentive provided us Great recommendations... amazing food, exceptional cocktails.. and memorable evening.
Excellent service! Went there to celebrate last night of the trip, they texted us before arriving that the kitchen closes at 11pm. Got there at 10 - fast service, every dish was incredible (try the french toast!).
Really the best place in SoHo
Food-precious. Good but not spectacular. Cheese plate very disappointing-stingy. Fish over cooked. Indifferent service. Shabby seating.
Lovely little neighborhood place that took me back in time - another time in NYC, feeling as if in Europe. Will go again soon!
My friend and I had the absolute best time dining at Cocotte yesterday. Service was amazing!
Had Sunday brunch with 5 family members. Everyone thought their food was fabulous. Service was great too. We are all looking forward to a return visit for dinner to try a different menu.
On the pricier side but definitely worth it.
Tables are very packed together so not much privacy. Food is excellent
It continues to be my favorite restaurant in NYC - the food, the staff, the vibe, the room and the music are exactly what I want. It’s so different from the typical overpriced hyped up hot spot that fades after a year. A jewel box island of quality and sincerity in a sea of cynical mediocrity.
Visited with a group of friends who travel / live abroad. We loved the cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality. Our food was beautifully prepared. We enjoyed a winderful evening
I don't want to give a good review because I don't want it hard to get a reservation! I love this place - I go for the filet all the time. Forget the fancy steakhouses - this steak is the best in the city.
A perfect gem of a restaurant. Very small, but nicely designed. Excellent service and food.
We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. It’s a small space with high noise level. Tables extremely close together. Menu has good variety and originality. Decided to skip an appetizer and added a shared side of Brussels sprouts to our mains instead. That was a mistake. Was still a bit hungry and wished I had tried an appetizer. Ordered a cheese plate to finish instead, and for cheese lovers, they have a nice selection.
We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we had and it was already our second time at the Cocotte. The best though was the unbelievably friendly Service. We strongly recommend to enjoy the atmosphere and the creative Food.
This place never disappoints... Amazing food, shout out to chef Sebastian! Great cocktails and the service is always on point, friendly, helpful and attentive . Beautiful little neighborhood gem in the heart of Soho! We'll be back soon :-)
Cozy and good for a date. Great comforty food. They also have very good daily specials.
Food was good .
We waited 1 hour for the main course.
I think they have to organize things in the kitchen a bit better.
I advised them thru OpenTable that it was my best friend birthday but they didn’t even put a candle on the dessert that I ordered.
Amazing cozy Sunday brunch. Piperade was very great, Their basque egg and cheese aswell.
We will be back soon !!
Good and authentic French / Basque cuisine. Friendly service until we were kicked-out after less than two hours for Sunday brunch because they “need the table”. I complained on leaving to the waiter (in French). The response: “Sorry, that’s NY.” Sadly that IS NY: mercenary and anti-customer. Fine. I live in Paris. I just never want to be told again that we need to be learn what good service is from America.
below sidewalk level surprise. snug, but comfortable. attentive service, interesting, tasty entrees although limited. cocktails all right; arrival time a little slow. worth a try and then some.
Amazing food and service. This place never disappoints.
The menu has Basque influences. The space is below street level with approximately 28 seats. Staff is French speaking. Service is casual and at times indifferent in the Parisian style. Table spacing is very close in some locations, and about 12 seats are at hi-tops. Noise level is loud. The sound track is fairly loud house music. Under 40s will find it hip, tasty and a good value. Over 40s may find it too loud and amateurish.
Delicious food with friendly and attentive staff. Third or fourth time there and never disappoints.
Great dinner with great food and good service ! See you soon 👍
Small portions. Food was over-cooked. Nothing special . Poor value
Really let down by this experience. The space was way smaller than pictures could show. The food lacked flavor and overall just wasn’t what i thought it would be. Not sure how its so highly rated. Not a bad restaurant but id give it a 3.2/5 not sure how its a 4.7
Very friendly, culturally French wait staff that pleasantly worked with us when our guest ended up half an hour late. I had moules gratinees and Filet Mignon Rossini (Tournedos Rossini) topped with a piece of foie gras). Both were excellent. My wife had butternut squash soup and then an appetizer special of Pheasant Armagnac as her entree (the waiter had told us it made a nice lighter entree); she loved both. Our guest had only an entree--shrimp risotto--which he thought delicious. The menu is simple with a beef, chicken, pork, risotto, and market fish all reasonably priced PLUS the filet mignon as a special. It's French cuisine with a hint of Basque cooking (one of the appetizers is 'Txipirones" a squid dish I was not familiar with). The three of us shared two desserts (a tarte chocolat and a tarte citron). Everything was excellent and the atmosphere was "tres" convivial. We'll go back one of the next times we are in Soho.
Wonderful restaurant! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Even a simple butternut squash soup was terrific. I would absolutely go here again and already recommended it to a friend. Very nice all around.
Très bon restaurant, bien situé, cosy.
Service très agréable! Mention spéciale pour la brune aux cheveux longs et le barman blond. Souriants, dynamiques et professionnels!
Very good place, cosy and delicious!
Amazing service, the blond bartender and the long brown hair waitress are smily and dynamics!
Cocotte is a warm & cozy spot - which makes the entire experience wonderful! Loved our evening there.
Food, Cocktails and service were great, but the menu is limited. Too light on the vegetarian options (all main entres [on the menu at least] have meat or fish. Even the lentils and mushrooms come with bacon or chorizo. I know it's French, but... its 2018.
TRULY GREAT FRANCO/SPANISH FOOD. FLAVORFUL! NICE SETTING, COSY, TRENDY, ADEQUATE NOISE LEVEL.
Service was excellent, but food was just a touch under salted and drinks were lacking in creativity.
I finally found my "place to be" restaurant in Soho.
Amazing food with excellent product sourcing.
This Basque/French restaurant is a must for foodies.
I will be back soon.
