Loved this place! Gluten free options and THE MOST delicious homemade gluten free bread. Such a treat! Handcrafted interesting cocktails which were a delight. Service was impeccable.
Excellent service and food. It was a terrific evening.
Cocothe gets better and better every time. I think they are listening to customers and responding. Food portions perfect, temperature pefect. Sea Bass my pal ordered perfect, almost a bit crunchy just how we like it. Short ribs a hit, great burger. $20 corkage fee reasonable. If you haven't been try it. If you have been and weren't satisfied, give it another shot. They had some growing pains all is good now..
It was a perfect experience from Cocothe accommodating an increase in our reservation # to the fabulous cocktails to the amazing meals. Everyone loved their meals.
We’ll be back soon!
Love it - as always!
Second time at this restaurant. Seasonal cocktails are inventive and delicious. Food is exceptional. Staff is attentive. Try it you will not be disappointed!
The overall dinner experience from soup to nuts far and away was more than expected. My money spends anywhere, but I will easily spend there again. Good stuff.
The food was delicious and far from ordinary. Service was superb.
Superior service. Outstanding food and craft cocktails!
Stylish and sophisticated. For a minute, I thought I was in Manhattan, not Sewickley! I had delicious duck and my companion had braised short ribs. Fabulous pear tart and fig mousse for dessert. Has a laid back vibe but foodies will appreciate the range of menu items and the pairings for each menu item. Definitely recommend for a quiet evening, date night or a special event. Well worth the drive and we'll be back!
Loved the complete experience! Everything exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to return!
We found the food, wine and service all to be exceptional.
Cocothe scores very well in ambience, service and cuisine. Highly recommended.
The food was amazing! They had an exceptional fall menu filled with selections of appetizers and cocktails! We had the butternut squash ravioli’s with Brussels sprouts.. the best I have ever had.
Service was excellent and atmosphere was pleasant; food was fair/good, but not memorable. Compared to other local restaurants at a similar price point, I found the dishes a little bit dull and flavor profiles a bit flat (though portions were generous and cooked well).
Our experience was incredible! The service, the drinks and the food were each exceptional. We will definitely be back!
This is my go to restaurants for friends who live in the East End and occasionally want to venture out "all the way" to Sewickley. ;) as always, Cocathe did not disappoint! Wonderful meal, great service by our server and manager always greets guests with a smile.
The food was very good, the tuna tatare stood out as a winner! I ejoyed my duck, my wife enjoyed her salmon. The service was very good as well. Dessert was creative and tasty.
The service was very good. We thought the food was average. We were disappointed by the limited menu selections and the blandness of the food. While the presentation was pleasing, the taste was not comparable. As the evening progressed, the noise level increased and it was difficult to engage in conversation at a reasonable level.
The food was such a pleasant surprise...and so were the innovative drinks.
We are fortunate to have Cocothe nearby. The restaurant is finally hitting its stride with an intriguing menu and active bar scene. We were a party of four on Saturday night and each of us enjoyed our meals. Getting drinks in a timely fashion remains a slight challenge, however that is our criticism. Bottom line is that we all left the restaurant happy with the experience.
Great staff and service. Outstanding food and a very modern menu that totally changes every few months. Only 2 "knocks" - not complaints - 1) There is only 1 choice of any salad and it is currently beet salad. No caesar salad, chopped salad, etc. 2) The place only seats approx. 30 and the tables are understandably close together. Pretty nitpicky because we loved it and will definitely be back.
Our first time there, celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Staff was exceptional and attentive. Food was outstanding. Nice atmosphere. They made our night special. Will definitely be back.
Cocothe is a neiborhood pace that is also a high end restaurant experience.
Great cocktails, nice menu -- you can have a burger or track of lamb.
The shrimp and grits are great .
The place can't a little noisy when there is a business group there at night. If you want romantic, book on weekend or ask to go on a week day without groups.
excellent service and bar
Loved every minute of it! The appetizer, main, dessert and wine were all excellent. The server was extremely friendly and humble about what she knew and didn't know and she sent us the other professionals for issues she didn't know and they were very knowledgeable and friendly! The bartender had extensive knowledge about wines and after dinner drinks and was able to explain it so that it was understandable to the common person but with a critical eye to the expert in the room. Definitely go here now!!!!! 100% recommended. Can't wait to go back.
Went for our anniversary. It was wonderful from start to finish, including service, food, and ambience. Highly recommend for a special occasion!
Always a great experience! The waitress was very nice as was the manager. Food was excellent! Only suggestion. A little soft background music would soften the noise from other tables. Thank you!
This restaurant was a surprising find. The food styling is fantastic. When you order you think how it's going to look. The presentation is always a surprise. (In a good way.) The staff is warm and welcoming. It's just a delightful evening from start to finish.
Cocothe is delightful. The food is creative, elegant, and most importantly delicious. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is perfect for a date or special occasion. The location and ambiance isn't super hip so if you prefer the hipster crowd like Lawrenceville then this place isn't for your but all I care about is the food and wine and this place beyond delivers
First time experience at Cocothe. Went there for anniversary dinner. A little to noisy. Wait staff was excellent. Overall was pretty good.
Delicious French cuisine. Quiet small dining room perfect for date night or special occasion. Loved the Summer 75 cocktail.
Love the vibe, decor, cocktails and food. I always feel well taken care of and enjoy going here for a date night or to meet up with friends. The host/maitre'd is always ready to greet you, and find a way to enhance your experience. They have great wine and cocktails and offer seasonal menus w a creative preparation. The plating is pretty, too! Definitely recommend this spot!
We went to Cocothe to celebrate a birthday. While we did not tell the restaurant in advance, I mentioned it to the host when he came to greet us. He took no notice and did not even bother to wish happy birthday, let alone try to make the occasion special. Also, I had called several hours ahead to let them know that one in the party was vegetarian, they said that should not be a problem. There was only ONE vegetarian appetizer and one entree on the menu and that was it! The restaurant offers a 5 course fixed menu, but there was nothing for a vegetarian despite the earlier request.
The restaurant was quiet and the food was OK, but service leaves room for improvement.
Dinner was delicious! Fourth visit.
Missed the little extra touch when leaving...I.e. macaroons.
Kindly accommodated my husband with sliced tomatoes. He wasn’t able to eat salads on menu.
Enjoyed our evening.
First time. Excellent. Not very ambience and Waygu burger was great.
Anniversary dinner. Our first visit and did not disappoint. Salmon and scallop entrees were excellent. Small restaurant and menu remind us of NYC restaurants. Will return.
This was our 1st time to the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has an upbeat feeling. We were pleasantly surprised by the appetizers through desert. The combination of ingredients for each course was very creative and surprisingly complimentary. It's not a large restaurant which I think permits the kitchen to provide the interesting and well prepared food selections. Great restaurant. We'll be back with friends.
Didn’t know what to expect as we had never heard of Cocothe. The interior, experience, and food made a very good first impression. They were reaching for upscale but the noise volume made it kind of an inappropriate place for an intimate date. The food was phenomenal, though their desert selection left a bit to be desired.
Small and loud at times. Limited dessert menu. Poor explanation of items on menu
Wonderful as usual. Service completely accommodating as to split plates, decanting guest’s wine. This is a REAL restaurant, not a commercial copy of a restaurant
